Just got a CRF450 today from my local scrapyard for $75 and it’s almost exact same condition I’m excited to restore it. Then your video gets suggested out of the blue haha, very nice job on the video and the 4 wheeler.

I did the same thing my friends. I saw an atv for $400 and I talked to the guy and he said it was a 110. I was not going to drive two hours but he convinced me to at least come and take a look. I already have a 110 Kawasaki I was going to use the suspension for a mud mower so I thought why not. I got there and it turned out to be a 200cc Chinese quad that someone took apart totally. I am trying to wire it as I write to you. It is driving me crazy but I am so stoked to ride it. Luckily I was able to negotiate it down to $200 and for that I will spend a month rebuilding it or whatever....
Wow, yeah some people don’t know what they have lol. Chinese stuff always needs work but when they run they’re usually pretty reliable. And cheap! Good luck getting it going man
@@EthanHervig Thank you. It is going to be a lot of work. There is no wiring at all and the only thing in the frame is the motor. It is a project...lol

What seat did you order as a replacement? I have a smaller quad that looks similar but has no markings for make or model!
It was just a roketa seat off eBay, you might have to do research to find what make and model yours is or at least similar to yours

I don't think that the rings are why it's burning oil tbh, I think it is more likely that the cylinder is scratched up from sand because it was probably ran without an air filter since it's a china quad and no one respects them. I could be wrong though

That extension cord looks a little too small for a heat gun if you had a larger diameter cord it may work better
Yeah it got pretty hot haha but it’s all I could find at the time
I get it I'm probably using a Dollar tree drop cord myself once in awhile good job

On the pw80 it looks higher, did you do anything to the suspension?
It’s all stock suspension. All I did was give it a 2” rear spacer and a 1/2” fork spacer so it’s taller
@UCxwJUopiS0dqy_TZ0qrtHWA I actually didn’t install the rear shock spacer, it came on the bike when I bought it. For the forks, I just used motorcycle 1/2” wheel spacers that fit onto the fork springs.
