    Thanks for the video... just built one I used .125 lexan vs .093 just because I had some already....works great!

    One of the best home simulator designs, setups, and video tours on UA-cam - your knowledge and experience are fantastic - thanks for sharing! Very strongly considering your approach and trying like hell to figure out how to make it work in a used garage that is 11' wide x 20' long x 8' high. Thanks very much!

    Great video, thank you! Looking for "the better" projector. I don't need 4k since my screen space is limited to 9x12 (4:3). I was looking at the Optima GT1080hdrx but it doesn't have horizontal keystone. I think I'd prefer that option so I can mount the projector off center but it comes with a higher price tag. Do you have any suggestions? -Toni

    Love your setup! Quick question - why didn't you just install the putting green mat/surface on your hardwood floor instead of adding the gym mat? I am planning to do a similar build in a garage but was going to install the putting green on the ground similar to a carpet. I am wondering what advantages there are by adding the foam gym mat puzzle under the putting surface.

    • @PixelGolf
      @PixelGolf  2 роки тому

      You want it to have rise so the hitting surface has give or you will seriously hurt yourself and club.

  • @mikeneron
    @mikeneron 2 роки тому

    Great couple of videos you did going over your setup. Is there enough width for both right and left handed players to hit?
    Also, you have quite a bit of space behind your hitting area and the floor. Would it work to make your turf area shortened? So instead of being 14ft long, maybe 12ft. I'm thinking for those of us with less room, we could just take the Mevo+ part apart when not in use.

    • @PixelGolf
      @PixelGolf  2 роки тому +1

    With the 3 foot depth (and Mevo+ setup) do you have any issue with wedges? More specifically, balls launching up and hitting the ceiling. I have the Mevo+ but only using a net right now so only hitting my long irons for fear of hitting wall above and behind the net.

      Correct, from 9.5’ back and the 3’ depth my 56 hits about 1’ from the top of the screen on a full swing. Use urethane cover balls like Kirklands as they are much lower launch then other options.
