Haters will still say BMW’s are unreliable money pits without ever owning one themselves 😂. Side note, if not having comfort access becomes annoying, there should be an option in the doors menu through the settings that allows the doors to auto unlock when you approach the car, and auto lock when you walk away.
I think you do have to have keyless to activate that but I can double check. I can still unlock my car using the bmw app too. But yes new bmws are in fact reliable!
@@twoguysonecoupe1050 ok! I wouldn’t see why BMW wouldn’t include the auto lock/unlock as standard, so now I’m super curious to see if it’s there as an option, lol.
I just bought a bare bones black sapphire with Canberra beige interior ‘24 230i xdrive. 28.2 mpg’s 75%highway miles. The car is light in its feet compared to my ‘22 330i that had run flat tires. The dealership consistently says not to rotate the tires on any BMW.
I’ve never heard that. My tires are all The same size and my car is rear wheel drive. So it should not affect anything. If you tires are staggered or if you car is all wheel drive I don’t think it is possible. I also do not have run flats on my car
@@porfiriato84 Pure guess but normally it is done on front wheel drive cars as they do both drive and turning where in most bmw’s front wheels doing turning and rear ones doing burnouts.
I got one of these I’ve been trying to figure out this one question: in sport individual what does engine mean? For confort vs sport and sport plus. As the transmission simple enough but no one in BMW has given an answer, and the owners manual has nothing. The car is good but I dislike the lack of transparency.
So tempting the BMW 2 Series, base. The only other car at this time that would trade my 2019 GTI base for. Need to think about this, but would NOT buy from my local stealer.
The bmw stores have good programs, also when buying new from a dealer you get 3 years of a pretty comprehensive maintenance plan which is worth around $800 give or take of freebies which is cool!
Man if you plan to get this to 160k miles you better change your oil faster than 10k intervals lmao yikes. It’s a turbo, don’t run oil over 3k miles ever. Frequent changes is what you need for a turbo car. Don’t listen to bmw recommended 10k miles that’s insane
@@twoguysonecoupe1050 I mean there’s always one car that everyone says they had once but you do you. If I spent that kind of money on that car I’d for sure be changing the oil at 3k or less

did you figure out keyless entry?@@twoguysonecoupe1050
Been thinking about getting one ! Love the newer BMW’s
Hey man, update on your mileage and if everything is running fine? 🙌🏽
I’m at 25k miles now. No issues at all:) still pushing it hard

I've never owned a BMW but what is the reason they say to not do tire rotations?

Better engine response, while sport transmission keeps it in lower gear and changes gear at higher rpm
@@twoguysonecoupe1050 so all engine does is throttle response and nothing to do with active grill or anything? Very interesting

Hows the 230 so far, still loving it? No issues?
Still loving it! A couple hundred miles away from 30k total. No issues.
What do you do for living you seem rich?? 🙏
I work in sales at a bmw dealer:) employee pricing helps with cost

I do 7,500-8k intervals. Perfectly fine
My VW Jetta I ran 10k mile intervals. 189k miles. Original turbos and everything. Replaced one gasket my entire ownership.
