  • Review of the new zowie GSRSE rouge mousepad. Basically a refreshed GSRSE with an updated texture/feeling and improved durability. Solid all around, not my #1 cloth pad recommendation but definitely worth it if youre using a worn out GSRSE

    I got the Rouge and a FK1+-C. They’re not even broken in yet but it’s already the best control combo I’ve ever used. It’s SO good for CSGO and Val.

      @@tinocabral4201 no issues with longevity from the mouse, it still looks and feels new, and the pad was still perfect after 6 months of heavy use. I discovered the Artisan pads and switched to their Zero to see what all the hype was about (the hype is REAL lol) but the Rouge is still a great control pad for a great price.
      I’ve been using claw grip + lightweight wireless mice + fast pad (Atlantis/XM2WE/GPX and Artisan Hein) for Apex and Warzone/MWII lately, but I still prefer a huge mouse and palm grip for CS so hopefully Zowie has the FK1+ Wireless ready by the time that Counterstrike 2 launches. Then I’ll try it with the Rouge, Zero and Hyate Otsu to see which one I prefer in the new game. I’ve heard that CS2 is going to play a bit faster than CSGO.

    I'm gonna go ahead and hard disagree with you about comparing the VAX pa pad to the gsrse rouge, that pa pad would absorb the entire earth's humidity I stg, using that pad every day for 2 months and not a single day did it feel the same LOL, the deep blue gsrse was the exact same way, and after buying a rouge not a single issue felt consistent every day since receiving it

      @IStratz 2 роки тому +59

      LGG Saturn is a good replacement for the zero. They have a pro version coming out near the end of the year which will have improved stitching and a more artisan like base that is also softer.

    • @boardzy
      @boardzy  2 роки тому +77

      Do you think the Strider is worth giving a shot? I can get the desk pad size for ~$30 and I'm down to try something different but if it's as abrasive as some people are saying I'll probably rub my wrist raw using it

    • @parispc
      @parispc 2 роки тому

      @@shawndiaz7528 I think you would be able to get used to the texture, the Strider is a really good pad. When I first got my Hien it only took a day to get comfortable with the texture.

    • @IStratz
      @IStratz 2 роки тому +1

      @@shawndiaz7528 I actually had the strider and went to the Saturn. The strider is very textured and fast. I play Overwatch and I played better only on very high movement/flicking heroes. Everything else was harder to play (mcree, soldier, normal fps type heroes). So if you play something like valorant or CS, I would not recommend the strider. If you know you like fast mouse pads, then you can go for it. But as Boardzy said, I would go with the Venus instead. It's apparently less rough than the strider which is a plus.

Rapid Trigger, 0.1mm actuation, Fully remapable keys - Analogue function. Better lubed switches and stabilizers vs Steelseries barely lubed (watch RandomFrankP's video, it sounded nasty) 3 layers of functions on the 60HE... Theres nothing really new about the apex mini imo and its just lazy on their part in response to the 60HE

Even though the packaging is really bad making the mousepad itself coming out not flat to the desk (need to be ironed with some towel to protect) the quality of the surface itself is very very consistent for diagonal and horizontal tracking. Yo I got a question about artisan mousepad I’m trying to buy one but I heard you pay a custom tax fee after the pad gets shipped and I’m just wondering how much you had to pay for the extra fee I’m in the US so do you think it’s gonna be crazy expensive or cheap ?

      LGG had their group buy for arti pads back in May. Their delivery window was unfortunately pushed back again till mid July. If you still haven't purchased a pad by then check around then. They may have some extra leftover stock to purchase as that happens with group buys. However it will be fcfs so be aware.

    i had the weirdest issue with mine, the more I swiped on it, the stickier it became. It was like it was generating static electricity, because when I tried to take my mouse off the pad after, it would have a noticeable stick to the pad + when I touched the mousefeet to my finger, I could hear a very faint popping noise. I'm not writing this pad off cuz the AC has been broken in my apartment for the past 5 days (its been at 85 degrees F) but I found it weird because my Vaxee PA was perfectly fine and I've never had an issue like this at all. I'm running a GPX w/ Corepads.

    • @boardzy
      @boardzy  2 роки тому +1

      That actually sounds like an issue due to the adhesive on your corepads but it is weird that it’s fine with the PA
