I value the consistency of the glass pad, even after a year it feels brand new. Anyways great video EDIT: To clean the skypad I just run a lint roller over it and if it ever gets really dirty you get just a wetwipe
i may pick one up. I currently have the Artisian Hien Soft. I use this for work everyday for 3D Modeling and Cam, and after couple months of use, I noticed that the small area I use just doesn't feel as slick as the areas I haven't touched, even after cleaning. And the texture of the mousepad on the area that I use most often looks different too, like its been compressed. I need consistency, something that won't change over time.

Aim skill ceiling is highest on Skypad. It's insanely good, consistent and durable too. Only downsides are that it eats through mouse feet and that any dust/hairs that fall into it are extremely noticeable and you 100% need to remove them
To be honest the quality of your content is just so good to the fact where I get happy whenever you post. Appreciate the education content you post, much love from zambia bro.
Sorry you didn't like the skypad :( I love mine with corepads and just being able to wipe it once with a cloth and know that it feels the exact same as it did (in every spot) a year ago is great. The inconsistencies of cloth and needing to wash them to keep them feeling the same was annoying. I think the wrist bunching isn't an issue for me because the games I play don't require me to ever really lift my wrist. It can stay planted the whole time. I do have to wipe sweat every 30 minutes or so but that just shows how much sweat (salt, oil, skin, etc) is going into a cloth pad constantly without realizing it.
Try using a single half finger “artist drawing glove” and wears it over your middle finger, it completely solves the palm sticking to the pad yet no restriction finger movement as well.

I love my Superglides. I just use a hair lint roller over my mousepad once I'm done to keep it clean. I've never had an issue with them since I do this every two to three days when I game heavily.
You've gotta try superglides with a hard pad. I'm using superglides on a logitech g pro superlight with double sided razer hard pad. Feels like an air hockey table. This combo is heaven. My aim and score has improved by 20 percent. Not only aim is better but fatigue is down and gaming is more enjoyable.
@@noone-tj2hq hard to tell. Have noticed it feels like it is now sticking with finer movements. I've changed to an endgear Cordura pad. Feels like a hard pad with superglides but without the wearing. Got fine control back. Still using original superglides.

Few weeks ago i was deciding on getting a 3080 for a new pc build or waiting for the 4000 series cards to come out and literally an hour later you uploaded. WOW great job!
I agree with the superglides review. The inconsistency gets much worse when playing games with much more mouse movement. I play osu, so the superglides just feel terribly inconsistent.
I have no issues with consistency with superglides on a hard pad. The razer Invicta elite dual sided hard pad paired with superglides is like butter. Takes some adjustment due to reduced resistance but I can never go back.
I’ve been using superglides with a modded g pro x super light on a lethalgaming Venus pad. When I first set them up just breathing near the mouse made it move, after breaking in both the pad and glides, I really like the setup. Super fast and smooth to where I don’t realize I’m moving anything more than my hand In air. I’d say it’s borderline too fast for flick shooters, but I generally guide the cursor to target and track, so it’s perfect for me.
I have been using the skypad 3.0 for about 3 months now. I never had problem sticking unless it's super hot. I bought a arm sleeve and I honestly don't feel like I need it. Flicks are not very easy, but with practice, it gets easy, tracking is insane, I feel like I have aim assist sometimes. If you don't sweat while gaming, I think skypad is no brainer, it's always consistent, a quick wipe down before playing is all the maintenance you need. Humidity doesn't affect performance which is something I had a problem on cloth pads with hyperglide, which was my setup before, where everyday day it would feel different, some days I had good aim, other I didn't. Now it's pretty consistent
@@celzolsen8988 no. Feels kinda the same. I switch mice probably like every month, so I can’t judge the wear of skates, but the pad. It’s actually still beautiful.
Been using the SkyPad 2.0 for a while now and can say that I generally prefer it over PTFE skates and a cloth pad. I also tried superglides which were alright, but the inconsistencies on my cloth pad lead me back to using the SkyPad. I generally don't have sweaty hands or arms when I'm gaming, so I believe that's a major reason why I continue to use the SkyPad over any of my other pad.
This sound ridiculous, but hear me out. A small piece cut from a large ziplock bag works perfect for palm/hand sweat. Just big enough for the contact patch of your hand. Zero friction, lasts a long time, and no sticking to the pad. I use a GLIDE 38 which has a very similar feel to it, and this method is a must for me. But it works.
Love your reviews, dude. For whatever it's worth there are "drawing gloves" that people have for tablets and what not to negate the phantom touches while drying on glass - may be the best of both.
I've got the Skypad 3.0, i use it with an armsleeve and tiger pad on my G pro X, smoothest feeling i've got ( i use a little electric rug for reptile under the skypad to make it warm when i play x) ) But as you said for 99% of the people i don't think it's usefull to go this far, an MPC450 ( 20$) with an G305 (30$) is more than enough for a good gaming setup
the hand sticking to the mousepad is the exact reason I say away from hardpads. Had the occasion to grab one out (I wanted a G305, and there was a deal where you could get a hardpad for free with it), and I never played more than like 10/15 minutes at once with it. Always came back to cloth pads just because my hand can slide around without sticking
It really depends on mouse grip cuz for me, there’s no contact between my wrist and mousepad to pivot and my pinky is curled to hold the mouse so just my nail or the tip of my pinky touches the pad. I’ve been using skypad for almost a year and the speed is really for me.
I got my hands on an a dual sided aluminum mouse pad made by a company called Blade Hawks. One side is textured and the other is smooth. The sweat issue is real- but the lack of overall friction is just the bees knees.
Honestly I think the skypad 2.0 was the perfect balance of speed, low static friction and good dynamic friction. There's a bit to be said about glass pads being too fast as you've shown. Ignoring the gripping aspect a hard pad doesn't give the ability to use the cushioning of a soft pad no matter now plush or firm it is to increase the dig of feet. Surface area doesn't increase friction but the different angle of feet against the surface does and this is something that you can't do with hard pads. All the more reason a slightly more controlled pad in general is best for a hard pad because you're not losing any smoothness or inability to absolutely fly anyway. Skypad 3 was honestly a silly product over the skypad 2. Basically a butter meme pad for people chasing a slippery glide for no actual benefit
I bought a skypad a few months ago and I love every second of using it. I came from cloth to g440 and I already had the sweat problem there. I picked up one of those artist gloves (I don't know if it's called that but those pinky and ring finger gloves they use to draw on tablets) and that worked for me on the g440 and I love it on my skypad. I only wear it while playing FPS games. it does get sweaty and needs to be washed but the sweat doesn't bother me on the pad anymore. my cat on the other hand... every time she walks over my skypad I need to wipe the hair off. unlike my g440 she doesn't like sitting on it and block my mouse. maybe that's because the glass feels cold on her toebeans.
@@Iurc I just looked up artist glove on our version of Amazon and bought the second cheapest one. I don't know much about them because I don't draw on tablets but I assume they're all pretty similar and smooth as they are supposed to slide on tablets when drawing
Being a serial tinkerer myself and always searching for what may give me an advantage I have tried the superglides with multiple pads and had the same results as you. I don't like glass pads so I haven't tried the skypads. I had high expectations of the superglides and I love what they offer and how they perform..... until they turn into a muddy mess. Also, I think the Shidenki is being discontinued and does have durability issues. The Raiden is a fantastic feeling fast pad but it will cause spin outs occasionally. I would probably main this pad if it didn't. I'm also an aussie and happy to lend you the pad, if you did want to experiment with it and would like to hear your thoughts. to me is is still faster than what my superglides have been after they broke in after a week. Keep up the great content and hopefully run into you in Apex again
I actually use an arm sleeve that covers the bottom part of my hand but on my vaxee pa. I use it because it really helps to reduce the friction between my wrist and the pad and protects it from humidity.
I've been using the old Hyperglides with a Skypad and G-Pro Wireless for the past 4 months and I feel like I've reached a point in my aim that I wouldn't have reached with my old mousepad. You can definitely get used to it. The arm sleeve doesn't really change much for me even if I sweat a lot on the Skypad.
Brotha i know you typed this a year ago but dont use glass skates on a Skypad. You will damage the pad. But hows it going (Gaming wise) with the Skypad.
@@rasmushansen7162 I might've mentioned the wrong glide name, idk. Superglides? Hyperglides? Anyway, pad is great. Literally endgame for me. Would not trade this thing for anything. I've spilt so much shit on it by accident as well, and all it takes is wiping it. 💀
Good video ali, so sad you didn't give the skypad a chance with a sleeve, The ones with a thumb hole. There are some that you can buy on Amazon for 10$. I had the same issue but with the sleeve it was a game changer, you should give it a try.
idek if people still come here 2 years later but glass skates on a hybrid pad (fnatic jet, fantech strikepad, ect.)gets real close to actual glass with way less maintenance overall, i dont hate glasspads but having to constantly wipe them off from hair, dust, and anything else that would normally go unnoticed for the most part on your pad gets kind of old quick, honestly prefer washing my pad once a week compared to a full wipe down every hour of use or so and before a session, and thats not even getting into the wear and tear on PTFE skates that glass does that most people skim over or dont use the mouse on them long enough to care to mention
non sweaty Skypad 2.0 user here. Its been 6 months and the consistency has remained the same. Easy to clean, just spray with alcohol and wipe with paper towel. Fabric and plastic will never stay consistent over time due to oil and dead skin build up, you can wash it but eventually you'll have to replace it. This is where mouse pad companies make their money, repeat customers buying their "consumable" pads
Hey Ali, Shedenkai(?) user here, Mousepad itself is great very smooth movement and feel but very weak in terms of durability I've only had mine less than a year (2-3 hrs use per day) and It's noticeably worn where your wrist rests on the pad almost as if the layers are splitting apart. (I can "pinch" the top layer of the pad)
im using skypads 3 with no mouse skates on g pro super light, and it feels super good, very consistent. my arm does get stuck on the mousepad since i dont use sleeves, but most of the time i dont even feel anything at all, and that is also how i get the feedback for control and with some parts of my palm as well. with the sleeves, its much harder to control. 10/10 experience for me not having to clean a mousepad all the time is just so convenient. and other problems with it are just easy to fix. I use it for CS, and i believe it works on all games as long as u get use to it. i think any pad with good, consistent glide and big is good, glass ones even better. and its great for if u r bringing it to a tournament too, if ur teammates arent performing great, well it can feel good smacking them with it too 🙃
Back in the old days we had mousepads with different materials: fUnc 1030, Icemat, SteelSeries 4S, etc. Then cloth just took over everything. Now looks like glass is back in the game.
Really happy you did this revisit to the superglides, I had picked up a set just before your first video. I had them for a couple of months with my Hayate Otsu and thought I was going crazy while playing Apex. When tracking targets my mouse would feel magnetic to the pad in one spot, such a strange sensation especially since this wasn't just a little pull either it would almost completely stop my mouse when tracking across the used spot on my pad. I searched extensively online for other experiences and came across nothing as I could not find another superglide + artisan user with this problem. Thank you for putting my mind at ease, I have just purchased a set of core pads and I'm not going to look back!
Interesting video, as I'm the complete opposite! Historically I've never used mousepads because even the smoothest cloth feels like it's chafing my wrist. So, I've always used a wooden desk with a very glossy/low-friction surface finish. This seems like it would be right up my alley! (I also don't throw my hand across the desk w/low DPI settings, and generally keep my wrist pinned most of the time)
had the superglides and reeeaaally loved them. I've never had less issues with tracking in Apex and had my highest-kill game with them. But the fact, that you couldn't click without moving and vibrations on your desk led to mouse movement were things I couldn't get used to. I still have the Superglides on my Outset AX but changed to Tiger Ice on my NP-01. Aas you said, not as fast and easy tracking, but balanced and consistent. And I get to play CS or Valorant, too. Maybe if they'd create some Superglides with a tad more stopping power this would be a thing even Pro's could change to.
I can confirm re:Shiden-kai durability. I have owned two, and both lasted 8-9 months before the centre area starts wearing down to the point where the glide is noticeably affected.
I remember when you were reviewing mousepads back then and said the Hien was not for you, so I was pleasantly surprised when I watched this video and the Hien is your main now lmao finally saw the light
In your mouse pad review video, your opinion was that the Artisan Hien was just far too fast for you to enjoy and that you preferred the Hayate Ostu. Has your opinion changed since then on your preference and opinion on each of those pads?
I contemplate what a waxed wooden surface would do for use with superglides. The wax and wood would be softer than glass, therefore you wouldn't get that scratchy glass-on-glass effect but the wood would still be a hard pad, and well cared-for the wood would be a sensible long-term easy-care option - just wipe it down and on occasion rewax / resurface and oil + wax.
Would need to be a near perfectly flat and perfectly buffed and polished wood, But yes, you are correct it would work. But also like you said... the maintenance is not worth it.
@@crisnmaryfam7344I never said the maintenance wasn't worth it fam. In fact, I declared wood an _easier_ long-term option because if it gets too scratched up just resurface it. You can't necessarily resurface glass, and the wood wouldn't scratch glass skates. The only concern would be the possibility of a waxy or oily buildup over time, or wearing the finish with heavy use and friction-created heat. That might be where issues would arise but high sensitivity would help alleviate that if you "get good" with it since you don't have to mouse as hard.
After using the skypad I'd absolutely advise having a bit lower desk and floating your arm. You SHOULD be doing that with your keyboard anyways, but it can help with the skypad as well.
I use the superglides with my gpro superlight x and I found that the friction is helpful dependant on the pressure you put on the mouse. There's quite a long break in period with them as when you get them first they are like ice
If you use teflon feet, the Shidenkai will wear out fast. I think it's the residue from the feet that gets stuck in between the glass beads. If you use ceramic feet however, I noticed zero wear over 2 years use. I would imagine it would be the same for the Superglides.
If you'e using an Artisan pad with texture, I do not recommend the AIR corepads. They have a textured surface, and so you get texture on texture which ends up being scratchy.
I have a Roccat Alumic mousepad that I bought several years ago. What I found is that although the pad itself doesn't wear out, the skates do wear out and the material becomes embedded into the grain of the pad and is impossible to remove. They will also wear out your skates faster. The Skypad is advertised as "The last pad you will ever buy" but I strongly suspect that you will run into the same issue I ran into with my Alumic pad. There is no such thing as a pad that lasts forever.
This doesn't happen, the texture isn't deep enough. Sometimes there's a stubborn speck of grime, you can just scrape it with your fingernail as a last resort.
Skypad takes a longggg time to get fully adjusted to and I do not recommend for any form of casual player that has bad mouse control. It has the highest learning curve but the highest skill ceiling. I also overcame the sweaty hand by wearing a gaomon art glove with 1 finger
do you still use skypad and *if* you have the cerapad how is skypad in comparison to speed and skill ceiling? Also i saw an earlier comment where someone said after using superglides on skypad for like 2 weeks the "scratchiness" went away and he daid it felt veery smooth. If you have superglides can you confirm it?
@@cryptiik9311 i dont have serapads and I use the tiger ice mouse feet on my gpx. The scratchiness going away is probably just him getting used to it. I still use skypad and its rly good but my mouse feet does indeed need to be changed at least once every 2 month
Would cutting the tips off of a garden-variety cotton glove help? You could also take a one-size liner, stretch it over and mark where you'd want to cut. Would keep the fingertips exposed well enough to better know where your fingertips are at.
Shidenkai was discontinued, and yes it has low durability as the glass particulate layer wears out quickly. There's a method to peel that layer off and get a pseudo-Hien experience afterward.
The Skypad 2.0 is better IMO. Doesn't make your hand stick to the surface like on the 3.0 and also has more texture which I like, it also makes it even faster.
i use super glides on my model d wireless and love them. i found tiger ice are great for superlight and like you said have better control and all the speed you need
This is just what i needed. Shawk convinced my friend skypad was the way. It was way too zoomy for rainbow six siege. So Ill probably go to the artisan.
Adding to the superglide, the Razer Strider mousepad (maybe because of the rough surface) has a noticeably inconsistent feeling if not watched monthly. It also shows some shiny particles on the dirty part of the mousepad, which tanks the smoothness even further. The dirty part of the Razer Strider would be similar to a QCK Edge (my old mousepad), while the clean one would be very fast, making traversing from the clean to dirty quite jarring.
Amazing content as always. I'm loving using the superglide on sl12 + xten. My skypad is at my closed because it's a great experience, but I don't see it like my main mousepad atm
Swapped off my. 703 with normal skates to pulsar with super glides, holy shit the break in period was hard to adapt to. Glass skates are really a whole new ball game
I recently picked up the Superglides just because I wanted to try them out on my GPRO Superlight, and it was not what I expected at all. With my LGG Saturn, there is a slower spot (where I make contact with the most) and I had a similar experience as you. It feels very muddy but at the same time, I'm still able to micro-adjust with my fingertips/wrist very easily which is quite preferable for me (I play VALORANT). With the expectation that I wasn't going to be able to control my mouse at all because of the extremely low friction, this happened to be quite the pleasant surprise for me. 8)
I just got the tjexclusives cerapad and its a ceramic pad, that is far better than any other hardpad. It would absolutely recommend it over the skypad or superglides. Unless you hate playing on hardpads
I have the superglides, couldnt stand them on my superlight, my desk was slightly not level and the mouse would move on its own when not in use. I bought a G pro wireless, sanded the bottom down and put the superlight glass feet on it. AMAZING, it just feels soooo good and no more moving on its own! Currently using on a lethal gaming gear Saturn mouse pad, it has more stopping power on the mercury IMO. The weight difference is almost un-noticeable with the glass feet (and my superlight is modded to 50 grams, no weight mods on Gpro just switch changes). And you were 100% correct about the break in, they def need like a week of use before they are broken in.
You should give the cerapad from TJExclusives a try! Ordered mine about a week ago. Its a glass pad with a ceramic coating on top of it. Reading some reviews its fast but still offers control.
your complaints remind me of my own when I had the "Icemat" back in 2005 which was a frosted glass mousepad I went back to cloth because it was just annoying to use
I initially hated the Superglides. Double clicking on the desktop borders on rage inducing. After 2 months in game (& using my G502 on desktop) I now like them, definitely frustrating at first but they do slow down over time.
Honestly it just reveals any flaws in mouse control. Either the superglides or the skypad if you're not using super low sensitivities will immediately reveals not only flaws in grip but also inconsistencies in performance day to day. Which while not for everyone since I totally understand wanting to hop on and have relative consisitent performance. It is invaluable for people looking to judge their performance over the long term for improvement. And even short term just to know when you're having an off day.
i used the superglide for my superlight, and its very versatile, i have orbitkey obi wan as my mouse pad, and even though its a leather-like pad, because of the glass i can use the mouse smoothly, and still have a slick professional look on my desk!
I haven't had an issue with sticking to the skypad at all, been using it for a year now and I love it. First with a Zowie EC3-C and then with the Finalmouse Phantom Wireless. No need for sleeves, always a smooth glide, however I play with fairly low sens so my arm never stays in one spot for long, which could potentially be the case. If I left it in the same spot playing a slower FPS like Valorant, and mostly doing small adjustments with my wrist, I could see that being the case. I think low-friction speed pads are typically better for low sens players overall for that same issue. While high sens benefits more from having a more control-like pad.
I use one at 28cm/360 with an XM1r and the only time my wrist/arm becomes and issue wrt friction is when I've been playing for hours and I end up placing my arm/wrist on the pad from getting tried, when I normally don't place them on it. I don't play Val too seriously, but from what I've played it was actually pretty nice.
@@asoidfhowehjr8248 My sens is at 43cm/360, though it used to be 57 which is why I went up a bit. I generally play faster games where barely such a large swipe to do a 180 was just not working for me.
@@senseofpermanence yeah, I used to play Overwatch on 43-50cm, and I felt like fighting flankers as hitscan was needlessly hard. ive had the skypad 3.0 for about 3 months now and I have to say it is by far my best purchase. more expensive but its definitely worth it. I got a sleeve with a thumb hole and it eliminates all the cons he said in the video. definitely recommend!

Are you still using the Skypad ? That has not loose in performance?
@@beatlourd6578 yeah dude been using it all the time still works great, literally just need glass cleaner if you wanna clean it. Still feels brand new
@@liftin21 Wow?!? Like same glide after 6 months ?! Really ? It doesn’t glide lil bit less at least ? I love my Superglides. I just use a hair lint roller over my mousepad once I'm done to keep it clean. I've never had an issue with them since I do this every two to three days when I game heavily.
You've gotta try superglides with a hard pad. I'm using superglides on a logitech g pro superlight with double sided razer hard pad. Feels like an air hockey table. This combo is heaven. My aim and score has improved by 20 percent. Not only aim is better but fatigue is down and gaming is more enjoyable.
Any scratching?
@@noone-tj2hq hard to tell. Have noticed it feels like it is now sticking with finer movements. I've changed to an endgear Cordura pad. Feels like a hard pad with superglides but without the wearing. Got fine control back. Still using original superglides.

the timing of your videos is UNREAL, literally yesterday i accidently broke my middle mouse button cause my monitor fell on it(long story) so i was going to get a new mouse and look who decides to upload a mouse video. First time I've ever seen the hairdryer test. Clever.
@@ivan-j4l9x rip your skates and pad bro ain’t no way they survived

I gotta ask dude, can you share a workout routine? You’re JACKED and I’m so curious what your diet/exercise routine is.
JR is the Skypad lost in performance after 7 months of utilisation?
pls respond
@@celzolsen8988 no. Feels kinda the same. I switch mice probably like every month, so I can’t judge the wear of skates, but the pad. It’s actually still beautiful.
I do like seeing the guy reviewing it also actually has good aim.
Optimum Tech confirmed sweaty gamer
Been using the SkyPad 2.0 for a while now and can say that I generally prefer it over PTFE skates and a cloth pad. I also tried superglides which were alright, but the inconsistencies on my cloth pad lead me back to using the SkyPad. I generally don't have sweaty hands or arms when I'm gaming, so I believe that's a major reason why I continue to use the SkyPad over any of my other pad.
Time changed, opinion changed
This sound ridiculous, but hear me out. A small piece cut from a large ziplock bag works perfect for palm/hand sweat. Just big enough for the contact patch of your hand. Zero friction, lasts a long time, and no sticking to the pad.
I use a GLIDE 38 which has a very similar feel to it, and this method is a must for me. But it works.
Love your reviews, dude. For whatever it's worth there are "drawing gloves" that people have for tablets and what not to negate the phantom touches while drying on glass - may be the best of both.
inside-out drawing glove with fingers cut off = really good it's what i use
I've got the Skypad 3.0, i use it with an armsleeve and tiger pad on my G pro X, smoothest feeling i've got ( i use a little electric rug for reptile under the skypad to make it warm when i play x) )
But as you said for 99% of the people i don't think it's usefull to go this far, an MPC450 ( 20$) with an G305 (30$) is more than enough for a good gaming setup
That's genius! I love everything about the Skypad except the temperature.
Love your videos man, they are so interesting. No bull sh*t, lots of info and not over the top like LTT.
Your experience with the Skypad was exactly like mine, I sent mine back after I realized it was unusable for me.
The idea to test glide speed with hair dryer is brilliant )))
the hand sticking to the mousepad is the exact reason I say away from hardpads.
I always get impressed by your aim man damn.
3:53 How did you get your colors like that in Apex?
Great video as always.
Basically a butter meme pad for people chasing a slippery glide for no actual benefit
agreed i wish so badly they'd made 3.0xl...just my 2.0xl bigger : )
I bought a skypad a few months ago and I love every second of using it. I came from cloth to g440 and I already had the sweat problem there. I picked up one of those artist gloves (I don't know if it's called that but those pinky and ring finger gloves they use to draw on tablets) and that worked for me on the g440 and I love it on my skypad. I only wear it while playing FPS games. it does get sweaty and needs to be washed but the sweat doesn't bother me on the pad anymore.
my cat on the other hand... every time she walks over my skypad I need to wipe the hair off. unlike my g440 she doesn't like sitting on it and block my mouse. maybe that's because the glass feels cold on her toebeans.
where did you buy the gloves youre refering to?

Exactly this, very cheap off amazon and I'll never go back to cloth after it!
Yeah but it’s like a dignity thing. Wearing a goddamn sleeve for your MOUSE? I’d rather die
I absolutely love superglides. I can't live without them.
idek if people still come here 2 years later but glass skates on a hybrid pad (fnatic jet, fantech strikepad, ect.)gets real close to actual glass with way less maintenance overall, i dont hate glasspads but having to constantly wipe them off from hair, dust, and anything else that would normally go unnoticed for the most part on your pad gets kind of old quick, honestly prefer washing my pad once a week compared to a full wipe down every hour of use or so and before a session, and thats not even getting into the wear and tear on PTFE skates that glass does that most people skim over or dont use the mouse on them long enough to care to mention
perfect man nice physic, perfect gaming skills, amazing knowledge of tech and gaming and talking skills

non sweaty Skypad 2.0 user here.
10/10 experience for me
not having to clean a mousepad all the time is just so convenient. and other problems with it are just easy to fix.
RIght. I wish I still had my func. I hate this cloth pad i'm using now and i'm looking for a replacement.
Love the video, currently using superglides on hayate otsu. Currently waiting on the cerapad from tj exclusives and see how that compares.
I love your content man keep going to the top 🤩🙌✌️❤️
Could you make a short tutorial on how you cleaned your artisan mousepad without having to ruin it? Thank you sir
Lol great timing Ali! I just ordered super glides and the sky pad xl 3.0 in white. 😅 thanks for sharing your thoughts and the review!
You shouldn't use them together
@@benvel3392 yes I won’t, I have a few g pro x mice..so I will use sky pad + ptfe, and super glides with my Artisan pad. Thanks
As I said in your other videos - ceramic glides + glass pad is the ultimate combo!
Superglide with the razor strider mouse pad is actually a very effective combo.
Lmao literally starting using this yesterday . I prefer it over my hien . It’s so good with the superglides
this guy ripped
What a shot at 8:30
After using the skypad I'd absolutely advise having a bit lower desk and floating your arm. You SHOULD be doing that with your keyboard anyways, but it can help with the skypad as well.
I use the superglides with my gpro superlight x and I found that the friction is helpful dependant on the pressure you put on the mouse. There's quite a long break in period with them as when you get them first they are like ice
Optimum saying fans are for the best aimers. Except when we see him play he has f'in aimbot. The best benchmark gamer.
If you use teflon feet, the Shidenkai will wear out fast. I think it's the residue from the feet that gets stuck in between the glass beads.
If you use ceramic feet however, I noticed zero wear over 2 years use. I would imagine it would be the same for the Superglides.
Oh mang, the glass on glass sound made me tense my shoulders so much haha.
Man I wish this was a cerpad mat instead of skypad 3.0.. with that said I cant wait to see your review on the cerapad.
If you'e using an Artisan pad with texture, I do not recommend the AIR corepads. They have a textured surface, and so you get texture on texture which ends up being scratchy.
bro your videos looks super clean👍 , what editing software do you use ?
I have a Roccat Alumic mousepad that I bought several years ago. What I found is that although the pad itself doesn't wear out, the skates do wear out and the material becomes embedded into the grain of the pad and is impossible to remove. They will also wear out your skates faster. The Skypad is advertised as "The last pad you will ever buy" but I strongly suspect that you will run into the same issue I ran into with my Alumic pad. There is no such thing as a pad that lasts forever.
I wonder if you could pressure wash it or something tbh
This doesn't happen, the texture isn't deep enough. Sometimes there's a stubborn speck of grime, you can just scrape it with your fingernail as a last resort.
The air dryer test made me giggle.
This guy has insane aim bro
You know what a good fix would be for the sweaty hand? An artist glove. They only cover your ring and pinky fingers, and cover your palm and wrist.
I'm not even used to gaming on M&K but still watch your videos! 💪💪💪
I waiting the whole time for you to put on superglide on that mousepad!!!
Sounds like an issue with the mouse pad and your cleanliness more then anything.
I can't get used to Skypad either, no matter the mouse I use the mouse feet feel like they scratch way too often. Keep going back to Odin Infinity
roughness is actually faster than perfectly smooth, less surface area contacting means faster glide
I just got the tjexclusives cerapad and its a ceramic pad, that is far better than any other hardpad. It would absolutely recommend it over the skypad or superglides. Unless you hate playing on hardpads
great review, just a question, how often do you wash your mousepad? and how do you wash it?
the sweatless gamer is the superior gamer
Recently started wrist aiming, and I'm still getting used to it, but I actually prefer the Skypad + ptfe feet over anything else. I tried really hard to main the Hien, but I just couldn't for whatever reason. The tracking and the occasional flicking I do on OW is godsend for me on this pad.
