GSR II sucks in the moisture -hausgaming 2023. It's kind of funny that a 6 year old pad feels very unique compared to almost all the other pads I've tried in 2022 / 2023 😂
Hey mister, could you tell me what the "hardest to move the mouse" mousepad was that you got or heard of? I'm looking for a mousepad that provides extreme friction.
@MrMaxim did you already test the GSR II ? What's your thought about it ? would be great to check a one more experienced opinion about the mouse pad :)
i tested the ninjutso npc and the Saturn Pro, they are excellent pads and the base is actually better, but the control that the GSR gives me is a unique feeling, with it I feel that I really have control of my aim, despite the micro-adjustment being really worse. For me the big problem with the GSR has always been the humidity, the base and edges are totally acceptable and do not impact performance. I believe this new version will be my main mousepad, looking forward to the wait.
hi. Did you buy the GSR 2? How does it compare with the gsr 1? I changed my GSR for saturn pro because of the humidity resistance, but i miss the control i had with my gsr :(
Tarkov and Valorant player here: TLDR: Got GSR-II, loved it. Got the new XXL Artisan Zero to get a pad with larger size: not as slow, texture/feel not as smooth as GSR-II. Essentially GSR-II feels superior in every way except for durability over time and material quality. Purchased the GSR II coming from a 3XL Glorious Pad, and damn the pad feels amazing. Immeditalely felt like my performance was hurt by how small the pad is, but, after using it and getting used to it the size didn't bother me nearly as much. And, going back to the shitty glorious pad was just no longer an option. Been wanting an Artisan Zero forever, but was not willing to spend $55 on it and also have such a small pad. BUT, they just dropped a new XXL version which is around 500x500mm. Not too impressed with the Zero. I don't have that same control that I do on the GSR ii. Really don't like the rough feel of the pad. The Zowie just glides so beautifully with how smooth it is, whilst still being slow or "muddy". I feel like it's 1 to 1 with my aiming behavior, like it's just doing exactly what I want it to with precision.
Yeah I also have a artisan zero. I always used gsr and switched to artisan. But it's not for me I played 4months with it. It's too fast for me. I have gsr 2 now and I'm really happy
Because its not as common to have a lot of skin touching the pad. You have to do a lot of digging to find anything on it, and then its still personal pref.
There are some other great alternatives to compare to the gsr I think you should review, such qingsui 2 pro+ and xraypad minvera DNA, would love to know which is the slowest 👍
I've had the first one for a few years now. It does get dirt build-ups and some sweat but i always can easily clean it with wet cloth rinsed with dish soap. Always comes up smooth and feeling new
I can't wait to get this pad. I love the OG G-SR. Mine just has a severe problem with humidity and I would love for that to be gone. It's so sticky I can barely move the mouse if it's humid.
I love the GSR so I will definitely buy this but I'm a bit disappointed that it doesn't come in a bigger size like 500x500 in a flat package. The base and stitching is still great on the GSR in my opinion. The base have never moved on any desk that I've tried it on and the stitching while not as amazing as an Artisan or LGG pad is still very comfortable.
im on the same boat, why not 50x50? Im right now waiting fo the new lgg pad that is between jupiter and saturn, it may be the best for me as i wish for a 50x50
im so hyped for this pad i check maxgaming several times a day xD. im just really worried it will have same issues with the rubber base for me. i had to tape gs-r with ducktape to table cuz its skating around
What are your recommends for a slow Mousepad , I got some fast and medium/slow mousepads but nothing that sticks out in Control with a slower Pad. I like to use my Esportiger LongTeng SE with Glass skates. I wanna try the new Pads from TheWhale , he made new slow pads but im unsure what to get of them.
What is the best skates to compliment this mousepad? I'm currently rocking the original GPXS with Tiger Ice Skates and LGG Saturn PRO (Red), and I only play CS:GO or now CS2. Also I'm an AWP'er.
I watched a lot of videos about skates, and i have a conclusion, that tiger ice would be best with control pad, because they offer a bit more speed than the stocks, and if you use faster pad it would be corepads, because they're slightly slower than stocks (talking bout gpx stocks)
@@monk_cs2 Thanks for the response. I main Odin right now and I might be interested in something even slower. Definitely not rocketjumpninja's pad slow as that seemed way too slow.
Also coming from Odin Eclipse, wanted something slightly faster. Got the Saturn Pro Xsoft recently and think its too fast. Would EM-C or GSR 2 be better for what I'm looking for?
So what is the improvement? On high humidity summer days the pad will feel like it's been soaked? Sounds great. Guess I'll just wash my GSR 1 and wait for GSR 3 if they actually make some improvements worth paying money for.
Not only for valorant and cs2. As a hitscan player(Widowmaker, Ashe), I can say that mousepad is mught be the best choice for hitscan players in overwatch 2.

I havent tested new G-SR. One small size (470x390) - its a pathetic in my opinion. X-raypad offers a lot of sizes.

May have to get this. I adore the original GSR in game and it feels so luxurious to the touch too. Also cleans extremely well, a bit of soak with shampoo and a gentle wipe down with a microfiber cloth and it's practically brand new again.
You mean on the video? That's my own doing, which is why I did not mention it. I was doing some disassembly on the pad and sadly had my iFixit packaging velcro straps attach to the stitching for about 5 mins :(. Ripping them off caused the fraying.
yes on the video. and ok thanks for the clarification, so the same exact stitching as the old one like feel and durability as far as you can tell so far? @@hausgaming
Haus you need to try the TheWhale Rizz Medium mousepad. I've nothing like it at the moment. Best csgo pad for me at least, GSR-SE Rouge a close second, third is Artisan Zero Soft.
I came to check the GSR II, but in between I was amazed with the smooth HS taps 😅😂 About the mousepad itself, I was expecting precisely the humidity issue to be fixed by, since I get my hand sweaty/oil easily specially from my wrist/base of my hand, so from what it looks like, that was not totally fixed, I should keep with the QCK for a bit more (at least I already know how to wash and dry him properly and make him like new), until I find a Mousepad suitable for my sweaty/humidity hands, and with a little more control feeling than the QCK, wich to me is its the negative point, it slides a little to much to my taste, despite of everyone saying that is a control pad. To me, QCK is a mid range, not a "real" control mousepad. I was really expecting the Zowie GSR II to be my next mousepad, but as we all know GSR is the humidity sponge King. I want a control mousepad, but with the muddy feeling, I have to pass 😂 @hausgaming It was nice if you can make a update video, telling how GSR II is performing after some weeks/months of use, people would appreciate a lot 😉 everybody is been asking about the same.
how would you compare it to the Endgame EM-C and Vaxee PA Black? Years ago I played with the GSR and like it a lot but after it was worn out I made the switch to other mouse pad from slow to fast but probably i want to go back. I currently use the Vaxee PA Black
There is a comparison with the EM-C in the video! PA black feels the most similar, but PA is tad faster and a tad more pull when switching directions. GSR II is also smoother than the PA black.

Flat packed I don't really care about, but imo yes pads should at least be larger than 450, I would say the height is useless, however 500x500 has the unnecessary height I'll never need when aiming, except that it makes the pad much more comfortable for my poture, where I don't have two different surfaces underneath my forearm, so it's only the pad there and not my sticky desk near the elbow + the pad
