I do understand "not envying kids nowadays". Not just in television sense but in games and such as well. I remember playing rpg games that had all their files open, so me and my friends would change things here and there to our liking. And eventually start writing ideas of our own to try to make a game. Using paint to create our pixeled characters and many other things. We are one of the new generations that grew up entirely in a technological age, yet I think we(at least me and my friends) saw it as a much more creative thing.

Omg when I was like four I travelled to London with my parents and we stayed there for a month. I got to see so many of your shows on bbc and I loved come outside!! I didn’t understand any english but i really liked the polka dotted plane and learning about random things. Also there was this show with two fluffy balls that lived in a vacuum cleaner or something? I loved that shit.

Finally. Nobody remembers Best of Friends but I do! I liked that. They also had one where children went on cute dates and did challenges. I think it was called Crush? I mourn television from our childhood (I’m 23) because it tackled social issues in a sensitive way, without sugaring them up to protect children from the darker aspect of being a teenager or shoehorning social issues into things the way they do now. It was just the right balance of aware and innocent.
