Finally installed mine on my 107 road glide. I thought it was too loud. I installed the quiet baffles almost immediately. These made the note deeper and not so loud. The weight difference was noticeable. 5lbs equals to 1hp on a bike so that alone was like 7hp total.
I love how the big radious and short shots and long shots sound but they LOOK better to me on the smaller bikes. I had the short shots on my sporty and it was bliss always! They look good though and always sound great!
I added these same pipes to my 2011 street bob when I got the SE 110 tire shredder kit, one of the best looking exhaust IMO but they are on that fine line of being obnoxious lol
My bike has been tuned for the cam and pipe on a Dyno where he used a Dyno Jet Power Vision to get the AFR correct for my bike. You may have a hard time because Dynojet and Vance and Hines made there new Powervision 3 and Fuelpak 4 for 21+ models.
They are a nice blend between having a tbar position without the hassle of making tbars work on a road glide. They are sportier than ape style bars because they are narrower. I think end to end they are 34" without grips. Don't quote me on that. I do have a full review video on the bara
What tuner did you use for the M8 motor? I’m considering the same pipes for my Road King, but getting negative feedback about how the bike will run with just a Harley pro street tuner
Did you feel a difference in performance? I’ve heard shorties kill low end power. I love the look and sound tho. So you talked about highway noise. Do these compare to say longer exhaust? Like 2 into 1? As far as annoying sound? Thanks.
They drone after a while but not much more than a typical non epa exhaust. My seat of the pants dyno didn't feel much difference other than weight reduction from the stock 2-1-2 pipe with crossover to these
Up top was better because of less restrictions. But I have no idea what the actual HP number is. I'm using the FP3 tuner from Vance and Hines right now but when I do my cam upgrade it will be tuned with a Powervision or Thundermax
I am considering the same pipes. Do you find your right leg touching the pipes very often? I'm curious if that happens more with pipes like these. Thanks for the video!
@@MeathedMoto yeah prob right. i did a full stage 3 (all SE parts) and got 110 tq and 90 hp to wheel. honestly a little disappointed with the #'s, as it's essentially the same as a stock 114 now. thought it would have been more!
@@bap2139 go big or go home. I bought a 475 cam awhile ago for the RG but I'm trying to sell it to save cash for a 124 kit. Looking at fueling internals with s&s cylinders and jugs
I'm guessing your microphone is inside your helmet, and hence that makes it truly hard to appreciate the pipes. We definitely got 10 minutes of you riding and your talking, but this isn't the best in terms of showcasing the pipes. not hating, just saying. you still get a thumbs up from me, to make it an even 100 likes I see.
I thought I recognized those roads! Bought my first Harley at J & L and explored pretty much the entire area while living in Sioux Falls.
Hey man. Thats awesome

Definitely interested in hearing them with the quiet baffles

i had this exhaust on my 2014 ultra limited and loved it so i just bought a 2022 road glide st and putting this exhaust on again
Love the sound.. Just hate the empty spots under the bags now 😞

What bracket do you need to raise the back pegs and how many inches does it raise it?
Beautiful Vivid black Glide man. If you’re ever in York, Pa? Stop on by the plant. We’d love to have ya check out some cool stuff.
Will do!
What tuner are you using. I’d like to do the same to my 22 FLTRXS but can’t seem to find tunes for 22s114 on dyno jet

Do you have any issues listening to music? I don’t want to sacrifice my sound system. Thanks.
You'll have issues because the exhaust dumps out in front of the bag on the right
You mean...”quite so loud”. Man, they sound wickedly awesome!
Sounds even better now that I have a more aggressive cam in it
Seeing as you did the install yourself, did you have to tune it? I see a lot of mixed reviews. Sounds good! Great video!
I had a Vance and Hines FP3 tuner at the time and it had a tune for these pipes
Do you find they scape the ground on full lean ? I do love to lean my Road king and was looking at a set of these for the performance and noise.
No I never scraped the ends. The floorboard scrapes before they do
I see you got the hoop-teez. Do they feel sportier than other bars? I heard they feel like t bars and are good for hard charging through the twisties

I had the FP3 from Vance and Hines but when I upgraded my cam I had the bike Dyno tuned with a Dynojet Powervision
Hey man, you still live east river? Just came across your channel and I'm curious.
Yes I do

@@MeathedMoto gotcha. They sound and look amazing. So you didn’t feel any hp gains from stock set up to these pipes and tune?

@@MeathedMoto thanks for your time. Down low you didn’t feel you lost power? Like torque? Thanks man for your time.
No not any significant amount
I'll be removing the baffles for sure. Getting these put on in a couple days.

Almost never
Love that sound. Are baffles installed?
Yessir
Why the hell put baffles in those pipes? Also, you're an idiot.
Vance and Hines are the ones that put baffles in them 🤷♂️
Do these pipes have baffles in them?
Yes they have baffles that are removable but you have to remove the heatshields completely to get at the set screws for the baffles
Sounds great . I don't like that I cant hear the exhaust on my 18 streetglide special. And I have rhineharts. Everyone behind can hear it not me lol.
did you have an issue with the o2 sensors? how did you deal with it?
Nope. I didn't have any issues with the O2 sensors or them throwing codes or anything.
going on my 22 heritage Tuesday
They definitely sound killer and perform well with a cam but I swapped to a 2 into 1 for a bit less drone on the interstates
Can you still hear the radio well?
I very rarely use the radio. I have a Lexin G16 Bluetooth headset I use to listen to music
Sounds great! What bars are those? Those look sick too!
Bmc vindikta hoop teez. Have a review of the bars as well
@@MeathedMoto thanks. Your bike looks and sounds great. Did you lose any low end with the big radius setup?
Not on the bottom end really. Up top it felt lacking. So i did an autotune and it cleared it all up.
How is it on the highway on a long ride?
Does it kill your ears?
It drones after a while. Simple ear plugs help a lot
Nevermind, you answered the question.
They look the balls. Have them on my deuce, want them on my street glide
We're these the quiet baffles?
Nope, standard
@@MeathedMoto do you have any drive by videos?

have you had this bike dyno'd? if so can you share the #'s pls?
I have not sadly. Id guess its in the ballpark of 85 hp to the wheel and 100 foot pounds.

I hear ya. The M8s have their flaws but they deep down need some aftermarket hands then they make big power numbers with just big bore kits and a cam.
@@MeathedMoto yeah probably where I'm headed after my warranty expires. 🙃

Just the exhaust

I wish there was less talking
