GREAT INFO! How can I get a White Skin & Blue Full Lattice Stitch with the Saddlemen Tour Step-Up Seat for my 2023 FXLRST/Low Rider ST (Fast Johnnie model - Blue and White Paint Colors)?
@FREEDOMGUNNER Thanks for watching and commenting. To get that color combo, I suggest calling Saddlemen. I'm sure it would be no problem for them to do it. 800 397 7709. If you are already a subscriber to the channel...thank you. If you haven't yet subscribed to the channel I'd be honored if you'd consider doing so. Thanks for your support and ride safe. 👊✌️👍

I was super close to buying the Road sofa Ls but I decided to get the road sofa cf hopefully the seating will still feel the same I just liked the look better.
Thanks for watching and commenting. I don't think you can go wrong with the carbon fiber version. If you are already a subscriber to the channel...thank you. If you haven't yet subscribed to the channel I'd be honored if you'd consider doing so. Thanks for your support and ride safe. 👊✌️👍
I’ve watched so so many Harley seat videos and I’ve decided I still have no clue what I want. I’ve had Corbin and Mustang in the past. Both were amazing for me. But they were for Sportsters and a Dyna. Now for a SGS I can’t decide!!!
Thanks Scott for watching and commenting. Perhaps you have a Saddlemen dealer near you that will let you demo a seat. My local HD dealer has such a program. Thanks for your continued support to the channel. Ride safe and enjoy. ✌️👊👍
I bought the road sofa because my Road Zeppelin air ride seat was torn. After 5,000 miles with the road sofa I can confidently say the road zeppelin was light years better.
Thanks for watching and providing your input on the topic. I appreciate you contributing to the conversation. If you are already a subscriber to the channel...thank you. Thanks Darrell for watching and commenting. If you go with the heated road sofa make sure to also order the quick connect wiring hardness from Saddlemen. That's a definite must with that seat. Thanks for your continued support. 👊✌️👍
I have a Saddleman explorer on a 2015 switchback. Have about 600-700 mi. On it find it very comfortable. Been on it about 4 hr at a time. Stop about every 150 to 175 miles for gas. Off the bike for about 15 min. I think i could put about 600 mile a day with no worrys . Best investment i made.
Thanks Randy for watching and sharing your experience with your Saddlemen seat. If you are already a subscriber to the channel...thank you. If you haven't yet subscribed to the channel I'd be honored if you'd consider doing so. Thanks for your support and ride safe. 👊✌️👍
I have the Saddlemen Slim RP & the Road Sofa for my 07 Road King. I am happy with both. I use the Slim RP for around town & any trip under 4 hours. The Road Sofa is awesome for longer trips with no backrest. Great video!
Thanks Robert for watching and commenting with your experience with the Saddlemen seats. I appreciate your input. If you are already a subscriber to the channel...thank you. Thanks ! I have been in the fence for a couple years now about diving into the Saddleman pool. The Sofa might be the one for me, especially with the heated seat option.
Thanks Craig for watching and commenting. The heated Road Sofa is an excellent seat. Given your height, my guess is you'd like the extended reach vs the regular reach. 👍✌️👊
I did find value here. I just bought a SDC Pro Gripper customized all. I haven't tried it yet. I'm 5'-7" with 13" legends on 23 RG ST. Hoping it's more comfortable than the stock solo. Thanks!
Thanks for watching and commenting. I also have a Street Glide ST...I'm very familiar with the stock solo seat. I took it off as soon as I got home from the dealership and put the Dominator Solo Seat on it. You will not be disappointed with the SDC seat...leaps and bounds better than the stock ST seat. If you are already a subscriber to the channel...thank you. If you haven't yet subscribed to the channel I'd be honored if you'd consider doing so. Thanks for your support and ride safe. ✌️👍👊
I just subscribed to your channel, your doing a great job! I should be getting my Saddleman SDC seat today, and chomping at the bit to get out for a ride. I already received the matching backrest for my RG Limited, I love the look! Thanks for the reviews you do, learning something new everyday! Thanks.
Thanks Michael for watching, commenting and subscribing. I really appreciate your kind words. I look forward to seeing your comments on other and future videos. Thanks for your support and enjoy the new seat. 👍✌️👊
I followed your advice and got the Dominator seat ext with backrest and sport pillion. So far I like it a lot as it puts me down and back a good deal. And it offers me the flexibility to run a second luggage rack in place of the pillion if required. Looks good, feels good and the price was right as well. The backrest adjustment is superior to any other backrest I have tried so far. One remark if I may, the seat comparison is great but it might help the viewers to compare the measurements to the stock seat because that's what everybody has at home and tries to replace. 😉
Thanks for watching and commenting. I appreciate your input. I'm happy to hear the Dominator is working well for you. I did do another video just on the Dominator and went a bit more in depth. I also did another video giving all the measurements including the Dominator. If you are already a subscriber to the channel...thank you. If you haven't yet subscribed to the channel I'd be honored if you'd consider doing so. Thanks for your support and ride safe. 👊👍✌️
To your point I agree it would be nice to have that information available in this video. However if we all have the factory stock seat at home we can just get that info ourselves. Besides a lot of people bought their motorcycles used and the previous owner has already swapped out the seat.
@blg020 Thanks for watching and commenting. If you are already a subscriber to the channel...thank you. If you haven't yet subscribed to the channel I'd be honored if you'd consider doing so. Thanks for your support and ride safe. 👊👍✌️
I love comparison videos. Thank you. I do, however have something to mention about how you measured the seat "length". Instead of measuring from lumbar base to front of seat, how about picking a point near the handlebars, and measure from lumbar base to that point near handlebars. To me, that gives a better idea of how close or far away the seat would sit a rider from the handlebars.
Thanks for watching and commenting with your suggestion. That is an interesting thought. However, if you have the bars move back or forward as I do, it wouldn't be comparable for most. Typically regular vs extended reach seats are measured from the lumbar to the front of the seat to approximate the distance from the tank. If you are already a subscriber to the channel...thank you. If you haven't yet subscribed to the channel I'd be honored if you'd consider doing so. Thanks for your support and ride safe. 👊✌️👍
I've been wanting a Saddlemen for a while, although now I have the 120th Anniversary SGS which has a seat with the anniversary stitching and colours. To be honest I don't really mind the stock Harley touring seats, they're not super comfortable, but good enough for me. Time will tell what I do.
Thanks Donald for watching, commenting and subscribing. Yes Saddlemen has many options to fit your riding style and they look great on the bike as well. I look forward to seeing your comments on other and future videos. Thanks for your support and ride safe. 👊✌️👍
I just bought the King 2up for my 03 Heritage Classic, been riding with the stock seat, added a back rest as I’ve had six back surgeries and it felt great, picked up the Saddlemen to see if there’s a major difference in comfort,I’m leaving for Myrtle Beach Spring bike rally Sunday May 12th,I’ve got a 550 mile ride one way,so we will see if it does me justice!
Thanks Marion for watching and commenting. I'm glad the video helped you. If you are already a subscriber to the channel...thank you. If you haven't yet subscribed to the channel I'd be honored if you'd consider doing so. Thanks for your support and ride safe. 👊👍✌️
@maxstreetglide2023 - did you get the seat? How do you like it? I’m thinking about getting the same one. I’m also looking at ordering a Corbin. Same price.
@@Dandre01 Just got my seat looks sweet as hell with orange stitching. Rode it about 200 miles and it felt great. They say there is a break in period but mine feels nice.I guess anything beats the original seats Harley puts on.
Happy #motobloggermonday! I got a new Road Glide in November...and I'll be looking to upgrade the seat come riding season. Thanks for the great info! #supportbikers
Thank you Heather for watching, commenting and subscribing. I appreciate the support to the channel. I look forward to seeing your comments on other and future videos. Ride safe and enjoy. 👍✌️👊
Saddleman seats are good for sure, but not the best. Back in the 90s everyone had to have a Corbin, later it was mustang and lepera All good seats, but choose what works for you. Dont buy just because everyone else has it. Lots of great seats out there.
Thanks James for watching and providing your input on the topic. Seats are definitely a personal feel and preference. They work well fir me but may not for someone else. But, most any quality aftermarket seat will be 1000% better that HD stock. If you are already a subscriber to the channel...thank you. If you haven't yet subscribed to the channel I'd be honored if you'd consider doing so. Thanks for your support and ride safe. 👊✌️👍
GREAT INFO! How can I get a White Skin & Blue Full Lattice Stitch with the Saddlemen Tour Step-Up Seat for my 2023 FXLRST/Low Rider ST (Fast Johnnie model - Blue and White Paint Colors)?
Thanks for watching and commenting. Wiring up the quick disconnect for the heated seat is not difficult....unfortunately I don't have a video showing it but there are some others that have done so. I think 2 lane life did one a few years ago. If you are already a subscriber to the channel...thank you. If you haven't yet subscribed to the channel I'd be honored if you'd consider doing so. Thanks for your support and ride safe. 👍👊✌️
Great video.i have the SDC seat same exact one you have with the gel core front and back with no backrest. I love it! Looks wise and comfort on my 23 Roadglide-ST. Are top notch.wife doesn’t ride much so I basically bought it for me.i can literally ride all day and not have my butt sore. Lol
I am definitely going with the Road Sofa, heated but wondering if I should order the backrest or not. The seat alone looks like pretty good support. What are your thoughts on having a backrest or not? I presently have ridden 7,000 miles on my 2024 street glide without a backrest and it's not bad
Thanks Robert for watching and commenting. I appreciate your input on the topic. If you are already a subscriber to the channel...thank you. If you haven't yet subscribed to the channel I'd be honored if you'd consider doing so. Thanks for your support and ride safe. 👊✌️👍

Subscribed. Great review. I run the Roadsofa for ultimate 2 up touring with a backrest, heated also is awesome, brown leather with white stitching to match my '23 RoadGlide ST in White Pearl Sand. I do like the look of that last step up seat and would consider switching or having a s a second option as my partner seldom rides with me anymore so for solo touring that one looks killer and would decrease the seat height which would be better as the ST is already higher stock back shock configuration, I'm 5'10" so this RoadSofa puts me even higher, I've adjusted to it yes , but still, the slightly lower Step Up I'm sure would make flat footing it, backing the bike up easier. ok thanks again !
Thanks Patrick for watching, commenting, and subscribing. I also have a White Sand Pearl ST...Street Glide version. I'm sure the brown road sofa looks great on it. Thanks for your support and I look forward to seeing your comments on other and future videos. Ride safe and enjoy. 👍👊✌️
Thanks Mark for watching and commenting. I would suggest as I did in the video, try a few Saddlemen seats out at your local Saddlemen seat dealer. I'm not sure if Mustang seats has a similar program. If you are already a subscriber to the channel...thank you. If you haven't yet subscribed to the channel I'd be honored if you'd consider doing so. Thanks for your support and ride safe. ✌️👊👍
Thanks, awesome video! What would you recommend for a 5'6" female rider like me? I have a Road King Special and the stock seat doesn't offer much lumbar support, and I would also like to be closer to the tank. I test rode the HD Reach seat last week and unfortunately it pushed me too much... Thanks in advance!
Thanks for watching and commenting. The Road King Special is an awesome bike. I had a 2019 in the past. So to answer your question, I think I'd recommend a step up seat in a regular reach. They are narrow so you can get your legs closer to the bike when stopping and they offer a much higher lumbar support to get you into a good riding position. I'd suggest testing one at a dealer before you decide...but based upon my experience, I think the step up seat in regular reach will be a winner. If you are already a subscriber to the channel...thank you. If you haven't yet subscribed to the channel I'd be honored if you'd consider doing so. Thanks for your support and ride safe. 👊✌️👍

Thanks Ricky for watching and commenting. Unfortunately I do not have a Saddlemen profiler seat in my line up. I'm sure if you contact Saddlemen they can help you put with all the pertinent information on that particular seat. If you are already a subscriber to the channel...thank you. If you haven't yet subscribed to the channel I'd be honored if you'd consider doing so. Thanks for your support and ride safe. 👊👍✌️
Thanks for watching and commenting. As you saw in the video lots of great choices. On the Iron 883, definitely check the saddlemen website or give them a call. If you are already a subscriber to the channel...thank you. If you haven't yet subscribed to the channel I'd be honored if you'd consider doing so. Thanks for your support and ride safe. 👊✌️👍
Thanks for watching and commenting. My suggestion would be the Tour Step up or the Step Up in regular reach. Sits you closer to the tank than the stock seat. If you are already a subscriber to the channel...thank you. If you haven't yet subscribed to the channel I'd be honored if you'd consider doing so. Thanks for your support and ride safe. ✌️👊👍
Thanks for watching and commenting. Just making sure that you are referring to the Dominator Low Solo Seat. If so, that Seat does sit low and is the shortest distance from the lumbar to the tank. If you have any questions on which Saddlemen seat is best for shorter riders out of all the Saddlemen seat line up, I'd suggest giving Saddlemen a call and chat with one of their seat specialists. Go to Saddlemen.com to get the number. If you are already a subscriber to the channel...thank you. If you haven't yet subscribed to the channel I'd be honored if you'd consider doing so. Thanks for your support and ride safe. 👊✌️👍

Thanks for watching and commenting. I'd definitely suggest the step up with Tuck and Roll for comfort on longer trips over the slim rp. If you are riding solo, the regular step up will be awesome as you won't need the wider pillion that comes on the tour step up. If you are already a subscriber to the channel...thank you. If you haven't yet subscribed to the channel I'd be honored if you'd consider doing so. Thanks for your support and ride safe. 👊✌️👍
@stephanebrochu2627 it's not that I don't like the slim rp, I was going on the premise as to which was more comfortable. I've ridden the slim rp on 250 mile rides no problem. The lattice stitch is cool but I find the tuck and roll to be more comfortable for longer rides. But either way the gelcore is what makes it comfortable for long rides and for the long term.
Thanks for watching and commenting. As I noted in the video, the shortest seat length to the ground is the Dominator Low Solo Seat. If you are looking more two up style, the Touring Step Up or the Step Up are right in the same height from around range. I'm about 5'10 and I can flat foot any of the seats in the video with knees having a slight bend...so I would think any of these would probably work for you. If you are already a subscriber to the channel...thank you. If you haven't yet subscribed to the channel I'd be honored if you'd consider doing so. Thanks for your support and ride safe. 👊✌️👍
Thanks for watching, commenting and subscribing. I look forward to seeing your comments on other and future videos. Thanks for your support and ride safe. ✌️👊👍
Thanks for watching and commenting. I'm not 100% sure, but, given the freewheeler is on the FLH platform, I would guess any if the seats noted in this video would work. However the best advice is to check fitment on the Saddlemen website for any seat you may be considering. Or give them a call and they will point you in the right direction. If you are already a subscriber to the channel...thank you. If you haven't yet subscribed to the channel I'd be honored if you'd consider doing so. Thanks for your support and ride safe. ✌️👍👊
I’m looking for a seat that puts me closer to the handlebars. I can’t find Saddleman step touring. What’s the model number of the seat because everything is step up touring I find

@TwoWheelsInNYC You are welcome. Sometimes it is hard to find the specific seat on the website. If you ever need any additional assistance, I'd suggest giving Saddlemen a call. The customer service personnel are excellent. 👍
Definitely either check out the Saddlemen website or give them a call. The Saddlemen seat specialists are very knowledgeable and can point you in the right direction for your need. If you are already a subscriber to the channel...thank you. If you haven't yet subscribed to the channel I'd be honored if you'd consider doing so. Thanks for your support and ride safe. ✌️👊👍
Thanks for watching and commenting. My first suggestion for any of the seats featured in this video would be to get an extended reach version. I'm 5'10", and the standard reach is fine for me, but at your height, I'd say extended reach would be better. As far as which is best...it depends on your riding style. I'd suggest talking with a @saddlemen customer service representative and they can point you in the right direction. You can also test them out at a Saddlemen dealer...typically at most HD Dealerships. If you are already a subscriber to the channel...thank you. If you haven't yet subscribed to the channel I'd be honored if you'd consider doing so. Thanks for your support and ride safe. 👍✌️👊
Thanks for watching and commenting. The touring step up can be ordered in a variety of configurations besides the tuck and roll. If you can't find what you are looking for on the website, I'd suggest giving Saddlemen a call and talk with one of the customer service reps. They will get you set up with exactly what you'd like. If you are already a subscriber to the channel...thank you. If you haven't yet subscribed to the channel I'd be honored if you'd consider doing so. Thanks for your support and ride safe. 👊✌️👍
Thanks for watching and commenting. All of the Saddlemen seats are much narrower than the stock seats. Of the seats I've ridden, the step up seats push you closest to the bars and tank. I'd also suggest going to a dealer that demos the Saddlemen seats and have her try a few before you decide on one. Many Harkey dealers have the Saddlemen demo program. If you are already a subscriber to the channel...thank you. If you haven't yet subscribed to the channel I'd be honored if you'd consider doing so. Thanks for your support and ride safe. 👊👍✌️
For my 2024 RG, I will wait until Krause comes out with their step up Dominator style like I had on my 2020, That Dominator is comfy BUT, the channel, channels water to your crotch,

Thanks for watching and commenting. You definitely need an an extended reach seat. I'd suggest you call Saddlemen and discuss your riding style with a seat specialist and they will be able to point you in the right direction. Just go to the Saddlemen website and get the number and while your there check out all the seat options. If you are already a subscriber to the channel...thank you. If you haven't yet subscribed to the channel I'd be honored if you'd consider doing so. Thanks for your support and ride safe. 👊👍✌️
Thanks for watching and commenting. It dependeds on which cover material you choose. If the style you choose isn't waterproof, saddlemen sends a cover along with it. Buyer beware. They won’t stand behind their product when you have an issue. My gel leaked and ruined the cover and they want me to pay to fix it! Lost a multi bike multiple seat buying customer.

Have both RoadSofa and ProGripper..great seats, but not compatible with 23 CVOs. Hopefully, Saddlemen develops seat for 23CVO, if so, I will definitely take a look at what they put out.
Thanks for watching and sharing your experience with the seats. I am sure Saddlemen is working on seats for the new CVO bikes. Looks like the new 2024 Street Glide and Road Glides will be on the same platform as the 2023 CVOs so I'm sure Saddlemen is all over the development. If you are already a subscriber to the channel...thank you. If you haven't yet subscribed to the channel I'd be honored if you'd consider doing so. Thanks for your support and ride safe. 👊✌️👍

I just subscribed to your channel, your doing a great job! I should be getting my Saddleman SDC seat today, and chomping at the bit to get out for a ride.
To your point I agree it would be nice to have that information available in this video. However if we all have the factory stock seat at home we can just get that info ourselves. Besides a lot of people bought their motorcycles used and the previous owner has already swapped out the seat.

I'd suggest testing one at a dealer before you decide...but based upon my experience, I think the step up seat in regular reach will be a winner. which of the tour Step-up VS the slim RP would you recommend for comfort. Solo riding, 300miles + day. thanks
Thanks for watching and commenting. I'd definitely suggest the step up with Tuck and Roll for comfort on longer trips over the slim rp. @@HDVIBE OK , and what you don't like about the slim ? The tour step-up I have in mind is the LS , not sure if I want the TR

Which one is best to get feet flat on the ground at 5’9”
Thanks for watching and commenting.
