I just ordered some for my 2016 heritage softail. I’m not worried about any big HP gains I just want it to sound better. I was told I won’t need a tune for that. I’m also keeping the stock 103 high output air breather with KN filter. But I’m still concerned about need for tuning. Bike has more than enough power for me I’m just looking for sound. But I also want it to continue to run well.
Silly question.......fitting my big radius to my 2022 streetbob 114 tomorrow where do I get my torque settings from? (Said it was a silly question 😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁)
I bought an 07 Softail Standard. It had the Big Radius installed. Instead of plugging the O2 sensors back in they installed some diodes. I did not find a tuner anywhere on the bike. Would it be better to leave the diodes or remove them and plug the O2 sensors back in?
Installed the big radius pipes on my '15 fatboy lo. Removed the baffles in the pipes. Installed the stock o2 sensors. Engine fired up nicely, but when I rode down the road about 1/2 a mile, engine died, and could not restart. Would turn over, but would not fire. ????

@@jpcycles my concern is i really love the big radius design and sound, but i need to assure that it could fit perfectly onto 2010 harley sportster year 2010 model XL883N.
I'm installing these on a 2020 Road Glide special and am having issues. I removed the two 1/2" transmission bolts but now I can't tighten the rearmost transmission hex bolt because of the angle of the mounting bracket. Maybe with a 1/2" swivel to a 1/4" drive but I couldn't find a 1/2" socket to 1/4" drive. But even then the specs indicate to torque to 13-16 lbs. There's just not enough space to use a torque wrench. Is it necessary to tighten the transmission hex bolts to specific torque? If not I still have the problem of not enough space to tighten that one bolt. Also the instructions indicate to use the provided hex bolt and 5/16" washer, but the instructions indicate that two 5/16" washers are included in the bag. I found 4 identical washers that seem overly large. Do I use these and if so they can only go behind the bracket between the transmission bolt hole and the bracket.
You cant tighten it because of a space issue? If that's the case use a wrench and blue threadlocker on the bolts and snug them up. As for the washers they wont fit on the bolts? I don't believe they are designed to go behind the bracket

I like how you guys are putting the tools you need now. Awesome job, keep up the great work.
I love how 6 years later this channel still hasn’t answered a single question in the comments. 😂

What torgue spec did u use to tighten the flange nuts?
Wouldn't those new pipes need some kind of extra bracket to be installed?
If so, why doesn't the video show how/where to install the new bracket?
Wouldn’t you have to install a fuel pack tune after exhaust mode?
Did you have to put forward controls on due to the exhaust upgrade or will the exhaust still fit with mid controls?
I have a 2016 breakout. I would like to put those pipes on. Do I need to have the bike tuned....

Fixing to put kind of same ones but blacks
So there’s no tuner or fuel pack needed after the install?
I would recommend doing the FP3...I cant's exactly say you NEED it but its highly recommended.

How do you tune for new exhaust
Can we keep the warranty while we put the v&h big radius?
Do you got a video of how to put these kind of pipes on a 2008 street glide I cant find a video anywhere
I would really appreciate it if someone explained little better "mount bracket" installation!
Were can i get a Exuast mount like that i got a 07 dyna lowrider and the one that come with it doesnt fit.

If putting these pipes on a 88 twin what slow jet do you recommend. I also would add the Arlen Ness big sucker stage one.
Same pipes on new m8 soft tails would it be the same procedure or slightly different?
Same basic procedure but slightly different. mounting bracket in the rear will be different for sure.
Love that sound ! Are they legal ?

Start by checking the plugs. Generally not recommended to remove the baffle, it has a negative effect on performance.
Do you need 2 dog bones for both pipes mine came with only 1 ??
yes, you need one for each pipe
Are these quite loud? I've got an 06 Shadow that i'd like to put quieter pipes on.
Yeah, probably louder than what you want.
Yes and the sounds bounces right back off the pavement when you are at a stoplight.
Very loud

they do make quiet baffles
Having trouble fitting the headers and flanges on flush to the motor on my 2010 wide glide replaced the header gaskets but flanges just wont sit flush
Same happening to me right now.. you figure it out??
How much power do you loose with these on a carbed bike 01 road king
You wouldn't lose any. You would gain.
Is this exhausts able to fit onto my 2010 sportster iron?

My upper heat shield loose. How to remedy the situation? Thanks
Tighten the heat shield clamps with a flathead screwdriver.
