- Van Life Couple Built This AMAZING Camper Van We Built Our DREAM Campervan To Travel The World In. Our DREAM Van Build Is Finally Complete and it's time for a van tour. After 7 months and being locked down in England our new van build for van life is finished, We took a VW crafter LWB and converted it into a luxury mobile home on wheels, After always having smaller van builds we thought while we had the time on our hands it would be the perfect opportunity to build a new van and we did it in the style we wanted and we are both very proud of it, our VW crafter camper conversion is all ready to hit the road and start travelling

Just for information we have found that just using a single Maxair fan is sufficient by having it pushing air out
At the other end of the van a 400mm sq ceiling window which is left open, doing this allows cool air to be sucked into the van due to the pressure change caused by the Maxair,
We have found this to be a good solution even in Spain during the summer,
And don't forget maxairs use quite a bit of 12v

I have noticed after an hour work orion 30a getting hot that I can burn finger of it. There was recall on some early versions on victron forum. Have to reposition to give more clearance as my mppt shared hot waves of orion too.

Hi Paul, thank you so much for the lovely comment, we love our van and are very proud of her, it’s not rude to ask at all, we spent around 24/25k including the van (not including all the upgrades since) but this was before all the price hikes during and after the pandemic, and we did a lot of shopping around on products, if you are considering a van build or in the process of one and have any questions just drop us a message on Instagram anytime ☺️

The electrics is some thing that really confuse people and I think a lot are really scared to do it but it’s really not hard sue . I need to do a basics of camper electrics video . I think that could help a lot of people . Infact im going to do one .

Hey hey. Men tend to have a lot of crap too. It's just generally tools and fishing crap and stupid junk like that LOL. I love the little shelves with the pretty little decorations. Does add a very nice touch. Ok that was pretty brilliant to add the led strip. Great idea to have that faucet where it can be positioned to outside. Seriously love poppy having her own little space. I love the indoor/outdoor tv. That's another great idea! Yeah I'm sure she did do most of the work, but we'll just let that topic lie right there lol. It really is a wonderful build. I can't even begin to guess the cost. Maybe 32,500?

lol i guess a lot of builds can have a similar look cos of the nature of the outlay, but we did thing a lot different to Gregs van that's not to say he hasn't built a nice looking van , he's done well and his van looks nice

Oh nice man . We where going for them tyres but after talking to the tyre man he put us off and we got commercial snow and mud tyres which where a quarter of the price

Fantastic build , loving everything you both did , I have two leisure battery only two years old and won't even run my fridge at low 🤔 what batteries have you got thanks ?
We have 3 x 130ah lead acid battery’s . Check if your Fridge is a compressor fridsge . The other kind takes a lot of battery power to chill the fridge and there pretty old school . But there 3/4 cheeper than compressor fridges but you do suffer the loss of power with them .
Well thought out conversion, also well presented. Thinking of upgrading from my T4 to a Crafter so found u contact references useful . what length is your Crafter and what length is the bed ?
im not sure on the total lenth mate but its the LWB , aallso there will be a video in the next week or 2 on the bed cos im just 1 inch to tall to sleep side wase but what we haave done works well aand helps so so much
This video is amazing. I'm seriously impressed with the van and man, your editing and filming and framing skills have really gone through the roof, that's some seriously top notch production skills right there.
God she's a glorious van. really do love the use of wood in the roof and sides, the lights and the bed. Really looks like an outdoor retreat.
You also have a proper oven, and a proper shower in a van, the tv was genius. Actually, the whole thing is genius.
I'll guess it cost about 40k for the build? which would be about 100k Australian :P
the cost was 20k uk pounds mate, and thanks man its so nice to hear that the editing is getting better, this one took a while to be honest as there was a ton of footage, and we are so happy with the van , its now time to build another one
