I literally was sitting here thinking the quickest way to make this design is the same way you did it but I didn't want to chance spotting/dimpling but I honestly did not think to use the mod podge for adhering vs epoxy. I just never use mod podge so I appreciate this video. I needed to do this design fast and this is it! thank you thank you lol
Absolution love those glitter colors!!!! Thank you for all your tutorial! 🥰
Thank you!! 🥰🥰🥰
This turned out gorgeous!! The background music was nice and just the right volume! I could hear you perfectly!! Thank you for sharing your awesome talent!! I want to start learning how to make these! 😃
I cannot believe this was so easy !!!!! Makes me so mad I spent all that money on the wrong templates 🤦🏽♀️😭! So thanks for this tutorial. I also can’t wait to get my Swiftpoxy !
You're very welcome!! I hope this helps you! 🥰
Perfect!!
Thank you!
Love it! You make it look so easy!
Thanks!!! 😊😊😊
Beautiful cup! I’ve been wanting to do a pencil cup but school’s almost out...maybe next year. I’m also a Tumblerpoxy fan and so ready to try Swiftpoxy!
Thank you! I had a lot of fun making it. I will be making more for sure for the next school year. Tumblerpoxy is awesome but just wait until you try the Swiftpoxy! It is seriously the BOMB!!!
Just a trick if you put the paint color into your mod podge you likely won’t need a second coat. I use acrylic paint as my adhesive and glitter directly into the paint. Works like a charm.
Oooh that's a great idea! Thanks for the tip!
You do beautiful work, so neat. Great job.
Thank you so much!
This is soooo beautiful and the lines are very very straight! I can’t wait to make this today for the first time! I hope mine turns out as great as yours❤️❤️
Thank you 🥰 I'd love to see how yours turns out!
I think I’m going to have to try swiftpoxy. I already use a different fast set but due to the smell, I have to use my regular set epoxy for my final coat. This is a total game changer!
It really is a total game changer! I am not sensitive at all to epoxy but I know exactly what you mean by the smell with a fast set from another company, it is really strong. The only time I notice any smell (and it's very faint) is when I torch it when my blow torch.
Have you tried the pencil look on a water bottle looking tumbler (the ones that are the shape of a wine bottle)? I would love to see how you'd do the top part.. 😀
Dang, the tumblerpoxy AND swiftpoxy is sold out!!! #bomber Hope they restock soon!!
I actually now carry Tumblerpoxy on my website www.kccglitter.com ;)
Have been wanting to try Tumblerpoxy but they've been sold out of all of their epoxy for over a month 🙄. Cute cup, just did my first pencil pens last night!
Thank you!! 🥰 Tumblerpoxy will be back in stock soon. They moved locations and are expecting their newest shipment either this Friday or Monday. 😉
Also, there are a few companies that do have Tumblerpoxy in stock. Last time I checked Bee Jay's Glitter actually had it in stock.
@@KristisCustomCreations awesome, will keep an eye out! Thank you so much for the heads up!!
@@Shadingoftheheart you're very welcome! 🥰
So do you spray the gloss after each color?
Yes, I do that to keep the colors from running together
Do you spray clear coat after every color? How long does it take to dry?
Yes, I spray between every color so that the glitter stays in place and doesn't get on the other colors.
Thank you
@@brittanyberry1136 you're very welcome! 😊
Hey what can I use to speed up the drying process? And what can I use instead of epoxy because my son has asthma & his dr recommended me not using it in the same house as him
They have a product called Brite Tone that isn't epoxy but I believe it takes a lot longer to dry with a lot more layers. If you were doing this on a pen then you could use UV resin but it doesn't work as well on a Tumbler. A fast drying epoxy would definitely make it dry a lot faster but you do run the risk of having it around your son then.
@@KristisCustomCreations ok thank you so much
@@jgmommy3024 you're very welcome!
How do you get modpodge off paint brushes
I just immediately rinse the paint brushes in the sink with water and it washes out just fine.
Thank you!
Can you dome?
Yes
You said SwiftPoxy only needs 3 coats. They are all sold out so I will probably order the original TumblerPoxy. How many coats does that one need?
It depends on how chunky and flat your glitter is laying but it's about the same for Tumblerpoxy.. it just takes a lot longer to dry
@@KristisCustomCreations thank you for this information. I am local to BeeJay's Glitter so I get all my glitter there.
@@jessicasmolak9500 awesome 🥰 the ladies at Bee Jay's are really wonderful people ❤️
@@KristisCustomCreations I agree. I can't wait to pick up my latest order and get started on this tumbler for my daughter's teacher
