This method is the BEST I’ve seen thus far! Love it! I did my first pencil tumbler with this video, and it came out perfect (with a little tweaks afterwards). Thank you for sharing!
Love this! And I also love how you say it doesn’t have to be perfect because it’s hand made!!! That’s a big thing in the glitter tumblers I feel like a lot of people forget (including me lol)! Can’t wait to watch more of your videos! ❤️
Thank you! Great video! You make it look easy. I want to make a couple of these for my grandson's teachers. We are doing home schooling now because of Covid-19. Boy do I appreciate those teachers more than ever!!
@@cara3898 So the first pencil I did turned out great. Just got the final coat of epoxy on it. The second cup I had to strip twice, and just rewatched your video to get started on the second cup...again. Hope this one turns out as good as the first one.
I’m going to give this a try. Since I’m using Brite Tone should I follow the same steps in the video and just apply the brite tone by doing multiple coats before applying the decal?
The while part she's holding is PVC pipe which you can purchase at any hardware store. The "football" portion she's referring to is a little foam football in many sports/toy sections at Wal-Mart. You just cut a hole into the foam football and slip it onto the PVC piping. This is done to hold the cup in place while you work on it.
Hello! Awesome video!! My question for you is at the end when you spray the mod podge sealer you place the decal on right after it drys and then epoxy to finish? just want to make sure I understood because I want to make one ❤
When making this tumbler, what is the total turnaround time? I don't know why but the part that always gets me is the wait time between steps. You made this look incredibly easy. I'd like to attempt one for my daughter's Pre-K teacher for being so amazing through this COVID-19 era.
I can make one in a day if I really want to.... I also use fast set epoxy from counter culture so that helps! Without fast set you can still easily do one in a day.
Yes I end up putting epoxy as the top and once it cures I added a decal and waterslide then I did a top coat of epoxy. My total time with the epoxy I did it in a day because I turned it twice for 5 hours each time :)
Thank you for responding! I figured you did but wanted to ask! I love the outcome of these tumblers but if I never see another one, I’ll be very happy! I have so many due! :)
Your video by far was the quickest and easiest. Thanks for posting!
Thanks so much!!!!!
Yes, it was!!

Thank you be an everyday, practical person. I enjoyed and learned so much. Especially for saying it doesn't have to be perfect

I’ve never used it, but I would think so yes
Do you need to gas off for 2 days before glitter or can you just jump into glitter
This video is the best!!! Side question....what do you use to hold the cups??? You called something a football??

So after the mod podge spray part you wait for 15 mins, is that when you put decals on or?
No epoxy first after you seal the glitter
Cara thank you wanted to make sure if I put decal on first then epoxy!! Thank you so much for your time
Hello! Awesome video!! My question for you is at the end when you spray the mod podge sealer you place the decal on right after it drys and then epoxy to finish? just want to make sure I understood because I want to make one ❤
Donna Perez thank you! No I do a coat or two of epoxy first
got you! okay! so spray sealer then epoxy 1 or 2 times!.... Then decal....and then epoxy to finish up
Donna Perez yes exactly :)!
your amazing Thank you so much!
Where did you get the epoxy? And what kind did you get?
Love this, Where are the tumblers from?
The one she showed video is a Ozark, Walmart
What yellow did you use? And from where?
Recollections sunflower. From Michaels
Hello, at the end after it dries and you spray it with the mod podge sealer can you add vinyl wording and then spray the sealer again?
No you need to add a layer of epoxy so that it is smooth or the vinyl is going to be all bumpy
@@cara3898 OK Thanks so much 😊

I was wondering if you could post the link to the zig zag pattern you had? Want to try this technique out! Thank you so much!
All I did was googled a zig zag svg and screen shot it :)! Hope this helps!
Where do you buy all your tumblers?
Makerflo!
Did you put the glitter on while the spray paint was wet?
No I let it dry for 15 first
So let the spray paint colors dry 15 mins then add the glitter?
Anthony McNeil yes
Did you end up putting Epoxy as the top? What was your total time making this whole tumbler?
Yes I end up putting epoxy as the top and once it cures I added a decal and waterslide then I did a top coat of epoxy. My total time with the epoxy I did it in a day because I turned it twice for 5 hours each time :)
Thank you for responding! I figured you did but wanted to ask! I love the outcome of these tumblers but if I never see another one, I’ll be very happy! I have so many due! :)
You’re welcome!!! Haha I feel the same! I did about 20 in the past 3 weeks.
I’m doing this😂
:)! Let me know how it turns out! Good luck girl!
What epoxy do you prefer?
I like counter culture fast set! And also pro marine :)
May l have the link for the zigzag?
I just googled a zigzag pattern and screen shot it :)
Did u sand it down first ???? If not then I'm totally not doing it...currently my husband does cuz I absolutely can not stand the sound
I always sand my blank tumblers and then I sand down just the bottom and top rims after glitter
