I’m still struggling how to get a unzipped file for it I’m on a HP laptop and it runs fine but then it told me that I was missing a file I re downloaded it and it still said it was missing the. I found out I need to run it on a unzipped file but the issue with that is what you showed how to get the archive stuff and put it in the file it does not say that for me any help would be massively appreciated

@@ossihurme7572 I have a delay when switching tabs on fullscreen mode. The delay is a blackscreen for a few seconds, this applies to other games I put to fullscreen mode too.

I have done everything for Doing mods down to the letter but it doesn't seem to like me copying and pasting absolutely anything and I have used every way to copy and paste things that I know of Edit: With JSGME the farthest I've gotten is getting everything other than the files that start in the Mods folder where they're meant to be Edit Edit: I managed to do it by destroying skynet and removing my computer's sense of self awareness

When ever I install this, all I get after I extract the zip is the folders labeled (appdata), (bin), and (db). But it has all the other folders and the .exe. Im not sure what to do on how to fix it
Sorry for the last response my friend Are you using 7Zip to extract? I've had this exact problem with other extractors. You should use 7Zip, and then open the archive, click CTRL + A to select all, and then Extract.

Shoot man, I'm not sure. Sometimes weird stuff can happen like that. You can always re-install, and just move your save games over. They're in the appdata folder, you can copy/paste into a new install.
So, I just started to get Anomaly today and I have WinRar, so will I just do the same thing of sorts, incase WiRar has different things in comparison to 7-Zip? Glad to see you are working! Yes for the PDA, you have to first equip it and then you can use it. There should be one in your inventory, you can double left mouse click on it to equip it. If you don't have it, you can buy one from a trader (or spawn it with the Debug menu).

So far I've been loving stalker except for the ballistics. My god it's horrid. Can't hit the broad side of a barn with anything. Being a tarkov player I'm used to dying alot and angry x-ray ia but when I'm 10 meters away and still can't hit a head tap, I go a bit crazy. Great vid
Im having trouble with loading my mods and Im wondering if you're Copying and pasting the second mods game data into the game data folder you made for the first mod. Is that right?
Technically they both get copied into the gamedata folder found in the Stalker Anomaly 1.5.1 directory. Just be careful if Windows ever asks to overwrite files.
Not sure if you gonna see this but, I kinda need help. When I boot the game up, everything works fine...Except for the texture in the backpack and loadout, some of the items’s texture looks fine, some aren’t even appearing, and some are taking the skins of others like for example ( armor skin on backpack ). I tried verifying the game three times, nothing happens. So I would really appreciate it if I get some help.
Interesting, well if you're playing with addons that modify icons that could be an issue. I'd first play with Vanilla anomaly, and verify the issue still exists. From there, you can try different DirectX versions, different resolutions and video settings. You can try re-installing (make sure to use 7Zip to extract, google it if you don't have it). And if all else fails, the Anomaly Discord would be the best place to go to. Just please make sure to verify the issue without addons before going for help there. Sorry yo, I'm just a creator so I can only help so much! Hope you figure it out!

I'm using Provak's most recent build, and for some reason the game crashes 1-5 minutes into any game. Does anyone happen to know a way to fix this? I have an AMD Ryzen 7 5800X, GeForce RTX 3070, 16GB ram. I've tried DX11, 10, and 9 all with no effect on crash frequency. Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I'm stumped.
Try doing the 'Verify Install' from the launcher. See if that works. You can always try re-installing. You can try to look at the logs in the appdata folder. Might give you a clue. Could be a number of things, so it's very difficult for me to guess as to what.
My launcher say "Anomaly Launcher has stopped working", i was downloaded from moddb for the version 1.5.1, i follow your guide, but it's still pop up "stopped working" for many times. How should i do, please help me🙏🏻

Hi there, unsure if you still reply here but I can't get the game to launch, I followed your instructions, I even got the 1.5.2 update (installed before any addons) and the game just flashes black and closes immediately. I can only get the Launcher to open

Definitely suggest downloading it from the torrent magnet link. moddb mirrors were downloading very slow for me in the US. moddb was 3.5 hrs, torrent was 15 mins.
I am trying to unpack the zip file with 7zip and it just stays at 100% when I extract the files into the new folder. Not sure why this is happening, but it is super frustrating. Can someone please help?

And usually fullscreen allows you to "tab" out of it just fine. There are rare cases when planets are aligned when you can't get back into game.

Sounds like DirectX isn't installed on the computer.
Maybe try installing the DirectX End-User Runtime Web Installer from Microsoft.

When I download Anomaly, I only get the folder with all the tools and the launcher. Why do you get a file just called "Anomaly"?
I extract everything to it's own folder which I called Anomaly.
You should use 7Zip to extract the contents of the Moddb download, just to be sure.

And check graphics drivers. Those have screwed me before.
It doesn't download as an archive for me but an icon of a sheet of paper.
As long as you downloaded the file from Moddb, the icon is irrelevant. You just need the program 7Zip to open the file.

When I press play on the launcher, the launcher closes but nothing happens, I tried to start it from the bin file but still the same result :(
Try doing the 'Verify Install' from the launcher. See if that works.
You can always try re-installing. You can try to look at the logs in the appdata folder. Might give you a clue.
Could be a number of things, so it's very difficult for me to guess as to what.

Sorry to hear that, unfortunately that problem is a bit beyond me. What I would do is drop a line at the Anomaly discord, they have a "tech-support-no-addons" channel.

Hi there, unsure if you still reply here but I can't get the game to launch, I followed your instructions, I even got the 1.5.2 update (installed before any addons) and the game just flashes black and closes immediately. I can only get the Launcher to open

Definitely suggest downloading it from the torrent magnet link. moddb mirrors were downloading very slow for me in the US. moddb was 3.5 hrs, torrent was 15 mins.
