Literally have been using tutorials my whole life for things like this. By far the easiest to follow with a simple but yet in depth explanation of each step. You have earned my sub.

Glad you got it working! Load order is really important as well as compatibility patches for BaS if there is one included with another addon you are trying to install.

If you can run Anomaly you can probably run BaS
Hey there, thanks for this explanation, helped me a lot. BaS is working fine. But i'm trying to install a lot of other mods, like Anomaly Magazines would be very important to me also. And if it will work, some things like Food,Drug,and Drink also and Body health System, Trader Overhaul, Quick Tool Tips ect. But i must admit, i just startet playing Anomaly a few days ago and a few years ago i played Stalker - Shadow of Chernobyl. It would be a dream if i can get that listed things running, so i can have a "Singleplayer - Tarkov" if i don't want to play online :)
There are a huge amount of patches for that Addons and Mods and i'm unsure with i shall install and what not. Not to mention that i don't know how to sort that installed Mods so they can function properly.
Hope you make more videos/tutorials, it was really easy to follow that way you showed it with BaS ! :)

Do shaders, textures, or any other mods affect broomsticks? I’ve had trouble with this mod bc when I would hit “last save” on my game, it would crash. Idk why and what mods are conflicting with it.

It is in the description of BaS for future reference. So if there is another patch without the main addon being updated it will be there. You have to scroll past all the pictures sadly.
Sorry dumb question, i don't think i understand it quite right.
How should i procede if i want to install 2 mods(A & B) and B has a patch for A due .ltx errors.
Do i install first B + Patch and later A? or A then B and it's Patch?

Okay im having a problem with my JSGME, When i try to Activate the Bas mod to move it into the right side it loads only a certain amount and then it ends up freezing

@S U R V I V E I fixed the issue! Just used MO2 instead of JSGME and it fixed a lot of problems
@S U R V I V E never used it for another game so I totally understand. Been playing it with Stalker anomaly and so far so good 👍
@S U R V I V E lol I feel you. Sorry about that lad. Modding can definitely be trial and error but I don't blame you for not bothering. It took a good hour of playing around until I was able to get it stable. MO2, add BaS, then replace the bin files, add other mods, and that was perfect.
Would you recommend starting a new game when installing BaS? I'm about 60 hrs in and have approx 10 mods. Would be great if I could just adhoc the mod on my current game.
I would recommend it but someone told me they were able to continue their game without issue. If it doesn't work you can always unload the mod and your game should be fine anyway.
Is the “download now” ver of B&S up to date? Or do I have to scroll down and also download a patch to get the most updated version?
i have some questions on the topic of the melee, i cant find the key to bind/unbind it in controls, i've been f*cking around in the code trying to rebind it but it doesn't work, could you help me with that?

Thank you for the tutorial, all works well, but i have a problem, how can you swap scopes that are in between the same gun, lets say a Red dot and sniper scope? Because i cant figure it out myself
Should be whatever button usually switches to the underbarrel grenade launcher, "V" by default.

With this mod I have a visual bug or error. when I open my anomaly detector it gets to close to the screen at the point that I only view half of the detector. Its like I have the detector near my face. I put the FOV in 70 but its the same.
Question, how to make laser on and off? long press L not work, I here only sound of it, but laser still is on.

It is likely your FOV or HUD FOV. I am not sure what BaS recommends but I just use the default.
@@colourstone597 I downloaded EFT reposition and it fixed it. Weird because in your video you didn't have any other mod and it was working.
The guns are missing some textures, any idea what I'm doing wrong.
Edit: I fixed it, you just need to re-extract and re-place the mod and it fixes missing textures.
Everything good, but when I moving boomsticks to active mods JSGME freez and crash, any suggestions please?
For some reason some of the sounds of the guns are missing, any idea why?
will I be able to use the mod manager if I've already had mods installed manually, or every mod needs to be used with the mod manager?
I would recommend just deleting the contents of your gamedata folder and then reinstalling all of the mods through the mod manager. It might be possible to not have issues, but the whole point of the mod manager is to easily change load order and enable/disable mods.

My game started crashing once I installed BaS. Is there a fix to this, or do I just have to not play with BaS? Either way, it worked and I thank you for the tutorial.

Strange when I tried to activate in the mod launcher it just loads indifinitly and doesn't ever fully activate the mod. Not sure if I should just delete and re install and try again or what
It can take quite a while to load, takes me like 5 minutes sometimes.
hey so im like brand new to modding i reinstalled the gamed to try and get the updated version of this mod that just came out and i cannot get it to work it just crashes everytime and i dont know what i have to do differently now than what i did here to get the older version to work
It's the same process, I just did the same thing myself. I updated the patch link to the patch that was made on November 30th. Do you have any other addons installed?
whenever i open jsgme on the left i have gamedata folder? and whenever i try to move the boomsticks folder jsgme just freezes?
If you have just a gamedata folder you need to make a parent folder called "BaS" or whatever the name of the mod is, make it something you will remember, the actual name doesn't matter. Move the gamedata folder in to that folder and then put that in MODS. Also it takes like 5 minutes to load Boomsticks, I just edited it out in the video.

The icons or the actual textures in your hand? Do you have other addons installed?
@@colourstone597 Gun textures in the hand and yes I do have 1 other addon installed called food drug and drinks animations.

i followed everything step by step and the fov hud still came out funky and aiming certain weapons had that blurred 4 box thing when aiming down sights

Followed the video exactly and most everything works fine ... but none of the sounds seem to work. Anyone know a fix?

Make sure you have room on your hard drive.

AK-12 Monolit with the upgrade kit. Should be able to find the upgraded version in the spawn menu but if not just spawn the regular one and use the upgrade kit on it to see it.
it sucks that i have to study IT and advanced Programming to mod this game, sadly i wont get it to run properly, when i got it working finally the detector was out of sight while aiming my gun while having the detector in hand

So what exactly happens to the gamedata in my directory filled with my other mods? DO i move that to MODS as well?
If you haven't figured it out already, I'd recommend ripping all those mods out and reinstalling so you get them in their original state so you can repeat the process shown here for each one.

@@technic6425 ye i slowly replaced the mods using jsgme, was using the other 1 which was more complicated but had some technical issue which i forgot so i decided to use jsgme anyways

Using BaS with food & drink + HD Models but I think I'll have to remove 2 or 3 excess mods
The mod enabler crashes when i try to activate boomsticks like it says not responding and just sits there like forever (nvm just leave it alone and eventually it works)
If your want lasers working, just delete the shaders folder and the laser script in scripts folder! in the bas patch*
so i followed all the instructions and every single time i try to load the BaS mod on JSGME, it crashes. ive basically given up at this point so if anyone has any advice for that itd be very much appreciated
Try Mod Organizer 2, but the instructions aren't the exact same for that. I'm sure you can probably find a video for it though.

@@henryg8075 simple man, I downloaded it wrong, unintall it and follow the directions to a T, it usually happens the first download around, it's not a very big issue
How is that an addons have bigger size than the game itself, is it has 4K or 8K texture? Just wonder.

I've just install the Boomstick mod and the BaS patch and it works kinda. When I tried to get in to the Army warehouses game closes itself I couln't solve the problem myself so can you guys help me?
Im gonna tell exactly the gate I were trying to get through. The Radar Gate from the Army Warehouses. I've been trying to get the Army Warehouses from the Radar side but when it's loading the map it says Press any button to continue but I wont let me to press anything and then It's shut down itself

@@colourstone597 İt doesn't say anything actually when I was trying to get other side it was closes itself and I Just looked at it in the Internet some guy says it's Just a mod bug and you'll Need to start New save so I did and there is No problem so far

It's an upgrade kit for the AK-12 Monolit, which is a different weapon. Nimble sells the gun, Owl sells the upgrade kit. You can also find the base gun off of Monolith.

Hey, since I loved your first guide, do you mind doing a guide for the body health system v3.4, I have the food and drug animations mod as well and I don't know if they conflict but I haven't been able to find a guide for that mod and me doing it on my own resulted in game crash on returning to any save file, luckily i made a restore point lol, anyways imma keep fooling around to see if i can get it
need your guide more than ever, the restore point did nothing and I lost my save
@@NotCollectedNorCalm Unloading the mod didn't work? Sounds like something else is going on if so, unless you installed it manually maybe.
Great tutorial but I have one problem all of the boomsticks weapons are at the bottom of the screen and when you aim down sights the gun is off to the left if anybody could help that would be great. Also I did at one point have a mod that changes the way the character holds pistols but it didn't work if that bit of info can help and also I didn't use JSGME until boomsticks.

Wait no I figured it out it says on the addon page its for 16:9screens only that's why its at the bottom I am using 4:3. if anybody maybe knows about a patch?

Strange, I have never heard of this issue. Are you trying to do other stuff on your computer while it loads?

@@amazingman3023 Mod Organizer 2 is different and arguably better. I made this tutorial with JSGME with the assumption the viewer is completely new to modding. If you're familiar with MO2 you can use it for Anomaly as well.

i have a laptop with i5 6200u and 8gb of ram, i cant even play anomaly with the lowest settings at 1360*768 :(((
No matter what I do BaS crashes upon new game or loading an existing game. In the new game screen it gives me the option to start with BaS weapons too so the mod is clearly installed. I have absolutely no idea how to fix this, other addon work fine. If I install only BaS it still doesn't work at all
What does your crashlog say? And are you playing with 16x9 aspect ratio?
@@colourstone597 Haha I do, this comment was more of me getting my rage out. thank you though. problem was i installed YAWM manually before BaS, clean install and then did BaS before everything and it works fine
@@HebdebaV Oh yeah, YAWM will not make your game happy if you don't have it in the right order. Glad you got it working!

Every time I go to enable BaS in JSGME, I'm greeted with "steam write error"

@@colourstone597 Base game guns have sounds, and only few BaS guns (AUG, MP 153, PM, etc) have sound effects
All the sound effects are in the sounds folder, but almost if not all BaS guns have any sound effects
