When you destroy a rock, it leaves a piece of stone behind. When I destroyed my money rock the other day, I was surprised to receive some bells. I just wanted to move the rock, but I guess this is the 9th set of bells you can get out of it.
Cynt3r this only works with Money Rocks that haven’t been drained of their money. The Money Rock Island has 6 Money Rocks, and if you destroy the Gate Rock, you’ll get 1000 bells from it. Hitting the rock before destroying it can get you over 2000 if you’re fast enough.

I think the idea of a money rock giving 9 bunches of bells probably comes from bad counting: The area around the money rock is 3x3, which sounds like 9, but you have to remember the rock itself is in the center square so the max is 8. The timer for the 8th bunch is *very* tight, I can only get it myself using turbo on my third party controller. Even then, it's not consistent. There's no way there's enough time on the timer for a 9th bunch. I'd say it's nothing more than forgetting the rock is taking up one of the squares.
Or maybe someone counted the stone you get by smashing the rock as the 9th item. And someone who heard about a 9th item believed it was through normal hitting. Just a thought :/
It works and after it's on the tv if you run to your parabolic satellite dish outside it moves and shows you where they are. You can find the alien being beamed back into its ship on your island. Search trippy commentaries animal crossing new horizons aliens in youtube.

If you see one of your villagers that you like with a thought bubble, make sure your game is saved before you talk to them (you can wait for the auto save or save and leave and open the game again). Talk to them, and if they give a dialogue that they want to move out, IMMEDIATELY go to your menu and close the game without saving, before answering them. Then, DO NOT speak to them again that day. The next day (unless the next day is Saturday or a Holiday, then you have to wait until the following day after that), someone else will have the “moving out” thought bubble. Cycle through/wait out the days until the person you want to leave asks. There you go. Side note: from the day that you ask a villager to leave, it will be 15-18 days until another one asks to leave. Also, they will only ask to leave if you’re at the level of friendship that allows you to give them gifts. NO OTHER WAY can you get them to leave. Ignoring them, talking to them too much, following them, hitting them, none of those will work. If you think you got one to work, you’re incorrect; you simply got lucky with the random pick of who wants to move out.
There's also a method of inviting someone to your campsight, having all the spaces filled, but you have the option of asking said hated villager to move out in place of the new villager.

I've managed to get two bottles in my single player island in a single day with no time skip. I didnt pay attention too much but I checked the game early morning and again before bed and there was a second bottle
You actually can get 2 bottles if you get the first early enough. This is how I manage to do it. Log in at around 9-10 AM and pick up the first bottle. Play for a while and then log off. Log on again at around 5PM and another should have spawned. Theoretically you could get three in a day if you are early enough
I found one of my villagers in a Mysterious Island. More specific the Spiral Island. I asked her to move with me. The next day she was unpacking her stuff in one of the house. So yes you can find them in the Mysterious Islands.

The moving out one is true. I have a villager that I have never treated poorly ever, and they asked to leave. (If you’re wondering the villager in question is Wade. He’s not gone I had him stay if you’re wondering :) )
The weird thing is, I tried the nook island ticket myth with a shovel on my first try, & actually DID get the money rock island, it definitely could have been dumb luck, but I’d like to believe otherwise😊
when im shaking trees i have my net out ... you always turn towards the nest that drops so you can just mash the a button to catch them asap... also if you catch 5 in a row you get Nook miles for it (only the first time though)

John Smith The myth and video footage I saw only required one. Maybe it was fancy editing but I saw some video on twitter of a guy running through a stone arch and the wasps scattering and disappearing after the player runs through it
I only recently was gifted the game for Mother's day from the family, and shook a tree with wasps in it one night. I didn't have any tools in my hands at the time, so I decided to run and jump into the ocean. Wasps disappeared immediately.
You actually can get a ninth material for any rock. You just get the mats like normal, then eat a fruit to break the rock, and when the rock breaks it gives you the ninth material. Ik I’m late but I hope this helps!
Last one has been debunked ages ago. Data mining proved how the island generation works. It's also been updated, where some islands wont be accessible unless you have a Town Hall built and/or possess a ladder or vaulting pole.
The money rock thingy isn't at all true, I've got the Split Pad Pro controllers and using the Turbo function to hit the rocks as soon as possible after the previous hit results in only ever 8 monies dropping. So there you go.

If you see a villager who wants to move away, not one you want to leave, there's a simple process to ensure the quickest time to your true hated villager to leave. Confirm it's the move away bubble, hard quit out of the game. When you start back up /don't/ talk to that villager all day. Tomorrow, or the next day, the bubble will appear on someone else. If you finish the conversation,t he bubble goes on cooldown.

I'm surprised no one talks about this... If you want a villagaer to move and you have Amiibo Cards, you can invite a villager to the campsite and ask them to move in. When they say the village is full, you're given the option to say "Oh, well So-And-So is moving." They say they'll check with them, and immediately come back with a "Hey, you were right! That annoying chicken really is moving. Now we're neighbors." I only tried this once, trying to get Gruff when I had a full town, but it worked.
- No villager is allowed to leave until 15 days have passed since your most recent villager's arrival Example: Bob moves in. No one is allowed to leave for 15 days. After those 15 days have passed, there is a chance every day for a villager WHO IS NOT BOB to leave - The leaving chance percentage for each villager is influenced by your friendship. Friendships that are either very high or very low have the highest chance of asking to leave - Why very high? Because AC wants you to rotate villagers regularly. - Without timeskipping, expediting the rate at which villager leaves is very time consuming. So, if you are time-skip free, it's best to just wait it out or use an amiibo! (This is what I've gathered from a data mine!)
The Orville blushing one has to be true omg. Whenever I made him blush I would get super rare islands. I got scorpion island, shark island, & money rock island just for making him blush.
I think when ACNH came out, people thought ignoring a villager would get them to move out cuz of ACNL. In NL, villagers would randomly leave without telling you if you ignored them so the moving method was to talk to all the villagers except the one you want to leave, TT a few days; rinse and repeat until that one villager asks to leave. The system in ACNH is a lot better since you can get rid of villagers you don't want a lot easier without stressing over the ones you like leaving.
The ignoring kinda works bc at some point I had 6 villagers I wanted to move out and they moved out in the order I started ignoring them (except for 1), so it does kinda work
I don't think it works that way tbh, they probably would've moved out whether you talked to them or ignored them. I mean, if you ignore any villager long enough they'll eventually ask to leave bc the cycle will have to get them but that doesn't mean ignoring was the cause or reason behind it.
The first one is defo true. And just because you’re really nice to a villager doesn’t mean they’ll stay. For example, (anecdote) Octavian is my favourite villager, I’ve had him since early April, I talk to him all the time, send him letter, give him a present daily, and he’s already asked to leave 5 times! Then someone I had who I didn’t like, broccolo, I had him for 2 months until he FINALLY asked to leave, and I didn’t really talk to him at all unless he came up to me or he was crafting.
You are guaranteed to get a gift (not money) from a villager if your inventory is full when you gave them something, I gave them fruits and it works 100% of the time Edit: Doesn't work with cheap stuff like rocks or branches, try using fruits to farm villager photos!
As far as I know, dataminers found out this got something to do with the price of the gift if you'd sell it. If it sells less than 250 Bells, you'll receive nothing back. If it's between 250 and 2500 Bells, the villager gives you money. If it's more than 2500 Bells, you'll get furniture or clothing; depending on the friendship level, there's an up to 10% chance they give you their photo. Best thing is to hand them stacked fruits or fossils, bc with those you can be quite sure about the selling price

I've managed to get two bottles in my single player island in a single day with no time skip. I didnt pay attention too much but I checked the game early morning and again before bed and there was a second bottle
So basically no you can't get a 2nd one
You actually can get 2 bottles if you get the first early enough. This is how I manage to do it.
Log in at around 9-10 AM and pick up the first bottle. Play for a while and then log off. Log on again at around 5PM and another should have spawned. Theoretically you could get three in a day if you are early enough

I found one of my villagers in a Mysterious Island. More specific the Spiral Island. I asked her to move with me. The next day she was unpacking her stuff in one of the house. So yes you can find them in the Mysterious Islands.

With making Orville blush, the rumour that I was told is that you slowly make him more friendlier over time, which creates a slightly higher chance of better islands. The same kind of thing with Sable. After talking with her for quite a while, she is more friendlier and gives you free prints/ patterns.

The moving out one is true. I have a villager that I have never treated poorly ever, and they asked to leave. (If you’re wondering the villager in question is Wade. He’s not gone I had him stay if you’re wondering :) )

You actually can get a ninth material for any rock. You just get the mats like normal, then eat a fruit to break the rock, and when the rock breaks it gives you the ninth material. Ik I’m late but I hope this helps!
Last one has been debunked ages ago. Data mining proved how the island generation works. It's also been updated, where some islands wont be accessible unless you have a Town Hall built and/or possess a ladder or vaulting pole.

The money rock thingy isn't at all true, I've got the Split Pad Pro controllers and using the Turbo function to hit the rocks as soon as possible after the previous hit results in only ever 8 monies dropping. So there you go.

If you see a villager who wants to move away, not one you want to leave, there's a simple process to ensure the quickest time to your true hated villager to leave. Confirm it's the move away bubble, hard quit out of the game. When you start back up /don't/ talk to that villager all day. Tomorrow, or the next day, the bubble will appear on someone else. If you finish the conversation,t he bubble goes on cooldown.

I'm surprised no one talks about this... If you want a villagaer to move and you have Amiibo Cards, you can invite a villager to the campsite and ask them to move in. When they say the village is full, you're given the option to say "Oh, well So-And-So is moving." They say they'll check with them, and immediately come back with a "Hey, you were right! That annoying chicken really is moving. Now we're neighbors." I only tried this once, trying to get Gruff when I had a full town, but it worked.

- No villager is allowed to leave until 15 days have passed since your most recent villager's arrival
Example: Bob moves in. No one is allowed to leave for 15 days. After those 15 days have passed, there is a chance every day for a villager WHO IS NOT BOB to leave
- The leaving chance percentage for each villager is influenced by your friendship. Friendships that are either very high or very low have the highest chance of asking to leave
- Why very high? Because AC wants you to rotate villagers regularly.
- Without timeskipping, expediting the rate at which villager leaves is very time consuming. So, if you are time-skip free, it's best to just wait it out or use an amiibo!

I think when ACNH came out, people thought ignoring a villager would get them to move out cuz of ACNL. In NL, villagers would randomly leave without telling you if you ignored them so the moving method was to talk to all the villagers except the one you want to leave, TT a few days; rinse and repeat until that one villager asks to leave. The system in ACNH is a lot better since you can get rid of villagers you don't want a lot easier without stressing over the ones you like leaving.

The ignoring kinda works bc at some point I had 6 villagers I wanted to move out and they moved out in the order I started ignoring them (except for 1), so it does kinda work
I don't think it works that way tbh, they probably would've moved out whether you talked to them or ignored them.
I mean, if you ignore any villager long enough they'll eventually ask to leave bc the cycle will have to get them but that doesn't mean ignoring was the cause or reason behind it.

The first one is defo true. And just because you’re really nice to a villager doesn’t mean they’ll stay. For example, (anecdote) Octavian is my favourite villager, I’ve had him since early April, I talk to him all the time, send him letter, give him a present daily, and he’s already asked to leave 5 times! Then someone I had who I didn’t like, broccolo, I had him for 2 months until he FINALLY asked to leave, and I didn’t really talk to him at all unless he came up to me or he was crafting.
You are guaranteed to get a gift (not money) from a villager if your inventory is full when you gave them something, I gave them fruits and it works 100% of the time
Edit: Doesn't work with cheap stuff like rocks or branches, try using fruits to farm villager photos!
As far as I know, dataminers found out this got something to do with the price of the gift if you'd sell it.
If it sells less than 250 Bells, you'll receive nothing back.
If it's between 250 and 2500 Bells, the villager gives you money.
If it's more than 2500 Bells, you'll get furniture or clothing; depending on the friendship level, there's an up to 10% chance they give you their photo.
Best thing is to hand them stacked fruits or fossils, bc with those you can be quite sure about the selling price
