It’s easy to mistrust Tom Nook when you think of him like a Landlord, coercing you to improve your house so he can charge you millions of dollars, but I feel like that’s one of the most common misconceptions about what he is in relation to the player. He never actually “owns” your house, you don’t continually pay him _rent_ to live there. He doesn’t have rules about what you can and can’t do with the property, it isn’t his. It’s always yours. He’s really more of an independent contractor. He builds your house, and expands it or customizes it when you ask him to, and you make a one-time payment for the service. Pretty reasonable guy imo

I found Audie randomly on an island, she was one of my first ones. I loved her instantly (love wolves, foxes, canines in general), and invited her in. Later, friends told me about Audry and I LOVE HER SO MUCH MORE.
Gamer Raichu My friend got Audie but only had her for a couple days before she already wanted to leave. I had 1 spot left on my island so my friend let me come invite her to my island. 🥰
Next time you dig up bells from a glowing spot, plant 10,000 bells instead. anything above 10,000 has only a 30% chance of working, and a 70% chance of only rewarding you 10,000 bells instead. and anything below 10,000 has a chance of either 5,000 or 1,000 rewards. But if you bury 10,000, you're guaranteed 30,000 bells as a reward. Also, save your weeds for Leif, he buys them I think 2x the rate Nook does. and always try and go for the hot spot items in game every day, its a good way to use up extra resources like hard and softwood and rewards you a lot of bells. Thank you! Here's some more facts I didn't share! Yellow balloons floating in the sky have about a 50% chance of giving you bells,so pop them for bells! Also, this is probably already known but if you dig up fossils that you already have in your museum, or if you've completed your museums fossil exhibit, still dig them up and get them appraised! It earns you more bells to have specifically appraised fossils than normal purple ones, so its worth it! Also, keep 17 non-fruit trees on your island. Every day you can get 2 furniture, 5 wasp nests and 10 different bells from trees, but they have to be from different trees. You can't get two bells from the same tree, etc. So having exactly 17 non-fruit trees, allows you to keep track of all your trees and what you get every day! Another thing, if you have too many nook miles and don't need to use them for going to different islands, use them on either nook miles tickets or bell vouchers. I say either, because both can give you a lot of bells. One bell voucher costs 500 miles, and gives you 3,000 bells when sold. One Nook miles ticket costs 2,000 miles, and gives you 10,000 bells. So for 2,000 miles, you can get 10,000 bells from a nook miles ticket, or 12,000 bells from 4 bell vouchers! I say it this way because you have to have a lot of patience in order to print out multiple bell vouchers from the very slow machine, but if you're willing then it can help you get a lot of bells! Hope this helps! I'll post again if I find any more tips to share!
Also if you plant 20,000 bells instead, if it comes out as 3 bags of 10,000 you still make 10,000 profit. But if it's 20,000 you stand to make a 40,000 profit. Meaning there is always a net profit but a chance of something more. If you plant 30k you're guaranteed to atleast get your money back, but it can also triple to 90k. Making both of those amounts completely acceptable for both loss prevention and profit making

I would totally love if they could update's Harv's island to have all of our favourite NPCs such as Brewster and Shrunk. I think it would be a lot of fun if they turned it into almost like a "downtown" type of island.
Pinkamena Pie I don't think that works, only a few select special villagers can be invited to the photo studio. If your desired special villager is not one of the select few, you'll only get a poster of them.

Best tip for making, like, 20 million bells: animal crossing discord. Buy and sell recipes, Gulliver items, use Miles Tickets as currency. I don’t time travel and I have more money than I could ever use in game.
the thing is, most of the people on Discord with insane good Turnip prices are time traveler, so by using their "services" doesn't mean we taking advantage of time travelling? just some thought.
It's really fun to come back and see this knowing the updates throughout these past two years, such as Brewster showing up, as well as Kapn and some others.
New Horizon was actually released two days earlier where I live, because all stores had to close on the 18th due to Corona. So if you had a pre-order, you would be able to pick it up on the 18th (only pre-orders though). This actually caused some funny instances, because players with hard-copies were able to play early while players with download codes couldn't play until the 20th when these codes were activated. My best friend had a download code and had to wait while his boyfriend was already able to play the game^^
Yeah. But my country was on lockdown a week before the game came out. I wouldn't have gotten it any other way. I gladly waited for.the official release
Lol yeah, that happened to me actually. I preordered a hard copy of the game and got it a day early because the store I ordered it from knew it'd probably have to close due to the coronavirus. They told me not to tell anyone or post about it online and keep it totally secret 'cause technically they weren't supposed to do that. I thought I was special and got mine a day earlier than everyone else, imagine my disappointment when I went online the next day and found out actually tons of people got the game early... Still, at least I got it one day earlier than those who bought the digital copies, right? It ended up coming back to bite me in the butt though when it came to preordering a copy of Persona 5 Royal, since that one did get delayed for me due to having ordered a physical copy. Oh well!
I got a hard copy, and only got it on the 21st. That one day made a huge difference on how my island evolved compared to my friends who got it first thing in the morning on the 20th

I hate it. i missed when our gender was what made our play experience unique. Now if you pick one it says on nook miles (boy/girl). Cis people/trans should get the permanent choice. You can still have opposite hair and clothes. I want the game to address me as he/him.
"I know egg is not fish, give me fish!" IDK why but that killed me with laughter. Also bonus fact: People complained about the eggs so much that the game was patched so they spawned less frequently, only returning to their original spawn rates on April 12th. And there was much rejoicing.
The best consistent way of earning bells is selling gold roses. There are several prerequisites for this: Getting a 5 star rank on your isle to get the gold watering can recipe and getting black roses plants on your isle. You need the gold watering can to breed gold roses out of black roses. Each gold rose is 1k bells. They regrow every 2-3 days after being plucked. If you got like a whole plot of land placed with them, they are the best most consistent way of earning bells in the game. Was able to consistently earn 200k bells every 2-3 days. Edit: you can fill your entire isle with furniture you crafted to get the 5 star rating. It does not require an exorbitant amount of bells to do this task and any beginner can do this easily after filling their island and getting the right amount of villagers.

@@Besherba also you fail to consider that you can just cover your isle with furniture you crafted to get 5 star ratings. It does not require money to make furniture. Easy way to get the gold watering can.

As I said on a different Animal Crossing video, perhaps Harriet could come back in a future update by doing hair dye. Highlights, ombré, etc. Other than that, she could possibly unlock new hairstyles that aren't available at the mirror (more complex things like curls or updos) or with Nook Miles. If this happens I really hope that there won't be that dumb questioning system (perhaps picking styles from a magazine?), hairstyles will be somewhat cheaper, or that once you get a hairstyle you unlock it for your mirrors.
I don't play the game cuz I don't have Switch but that's what I have in mind. I mean, he game kinda lacks in hair color and color pallets is the one everyone needs I think 🤔
the operator is 100 percent resetti. if you call him when you have under 100 nook miles, he gets kinda angry then calms himself down by talking to himself briefly, and he literally says he is 'Resetti'. maybe it's don

As the parent of a 4 year old who pleaded with me to get Animal Crossing, I am less than impressed with the decision to limit each Switch console to having one island - we already had two full size consoles in the house, but now as a result of ACNH, Mr4 has his own Switch Lite, because like hell I am sharing a carefully curated island with a digging, chopping, destruction machine. I'm new to the animal crossing franchise. New Horizons is the first Animal Crossing game I've ever played. I'm loving it so much., I'm just obsessed with it. Thank you Nintendo! Without New Horizons, I never would of been able to try/play an Animal Crossing game. It's my new fave game!! Out of both Nintendo game's, and Xbox game's. So yeah, thanks again! 3. Give your villagers gifts daily, they might repay you with expensive items or bells.
4. Sell alot of weeds to Leif.
5. Sell alot of bugs to Flick.
6. Sell alot of things to the merchant animals overall
7. Sell items to your villagers when they want them
8. Make sure your island is clear of weeds to get a better rating on your town
9. Place items everywhere on your island to make it stand out
10. Spend at least 20 minutes a day upgrading your town!
11. Give most of your items that you don't want to Timmy, Tommy, Or Tom Nook. You'll get rich over that especially!

It's really fun to come back and see this knowing the updates throughout these past two years, such as Brewster showing up, as well as Kapn and some others.
New Horizon was actually released two days earlier where I live, because all stores had to close on the 18th due to Corona. So if you had a pre-order, you would be able to pick it up on the 18th (only pre-orders though).
This actually caused some funny instances, because players with hard-copies were able to play early while players with download codes couldn't play until the 20th when these codes were activated. My best friend had a download code and had to wait while his boyfriend was already able to play the game^^
Yeah. But my country was on lockdown a week before the game came out. I wouldn't have gotten it any other way. I gladly waited for.the official release
Lol yeah, that happened to me actually. I preordered a hard copy of the game and got it a day early because the store I ordered it from knew it'd probably have to close due to the coronavirus. They told me not to tell anyone or post about it online and keep it totally secret 'cause technically they weren't supposed to do that. I thought I was special and got mine a day earlier than everyone else, imagine my disappointment when I went online the next day and found out actually tons of people got the game early... Still, at least I got it one day earlier than those who bought the digital copies, right? It ended up coming back to bite me in the butt though when it came to preordering a copy of Persona 5 Royal, since that one did get delayed for me due to having ordered a physical copy. Oh well!

Audie was my 1st villager I found on an island, now that I know about who she was based off of shes become way cooler

Also bonus fact: People complained about the eggs so much that the game was patched so they spawned less frequently, only returning to their original spawn rates on April 12th. And there was much rejoicing.
This game seems so much more personal, and I’m loving it
The best consistent way of earning bells is selling gold roses. There are several prerequisites for this:
Getting a 5 star rank on your isle to get the gold watering can recipe and getting black roses plants on your isle. You need the gold watering can to breed gold roses out of black roses.
Each gold rose is 1k bells. They regrow every 2-3 days after being plucked. If you got like a whole plot of land placed with them, they are the best most consistent way of earning bells in the game. Was able to consistently earn 200k bells every 2-3 days.
Edit: you can fill your entire isle with furniture you crafted to get the 5 star rating. It does not require an exorbitant amount of bells to do this task and any beginner can do this easily after filling their island and getting the right amount of villagers.
ZeonDidnothingRight THIS IS COUNTER INTUITIVE, YOU NEED A FIVE STAR ISLAND AND USUALLY AT THAT POINT IN THE GAME, YOU DONT NEED BELLS. BELL FARMING METHODS ARE FAR MORE USEFUL EARLY ON

As I said on a different Animal Crossing video, perhaps Harriet could come back in a future update by doing hair dye. Highlights, ombré, etc. Other than that, she could possibly unlock new hairstyles that aren't available at the mirror (more complex things like curls or updos) or with Nook Miles. If this happens I really hope that there won't be that dumb questioning system (perhaps picking styles from a magazine?), hairstyles will be somewhat cheaper, or that once you get a hairstyle you unlock it for your mirrors.

I'm new to the animal crossing franchise. New Horizons is the first Animal Crossing game I've ever played. I'm loving it so much., I'm just obsessed with it. Thank you Nintendo! Without New Horizons, I never would of been able to try/play an Animal Crossing game. It's my new fave game!! Out of both Nintendo game's, and Xbox game's. So yeah, thanks again!
