@@Kettie5 you can have that same villager live there again but they won't "remember" you normally. for example, i found villagers i had on mystery tours after they'd moved out but they dont remember living on my island. The only exception i can think of and i dont know how to confirm is sometimes your villager will move out and move to a friends island and they remember where they came from and remember you - if they end up in boxes maybe you can take them back? that's the only scenario i can think of to get the exact same villager back. Of course you can reinvite with amiibo cards or like i said, find them again on a random island or in your campsite.
i noticed you push the down key when you're putting your inventory in storage. If you push the up key it'll put your cursor on the "Place in Storage" option within one press (with one exceptions you'll have to press up key twice.) I use the d pad because I typically play portable and I am trying to limit my use on the joy sticks as much as possible because I have had to repair two full sets of joy sticks on my joy cons.

Super helpful! I learned a trick to cut back on how many trees you have to shake to find the items each day. If you have between 17-20 non fruit trees, it's easier and faster to find the bells, wasps, and furniture 😊

A little tip regarding wasps for anybody that doesn't know: Shake your trees from below (i.e., approach from the south by pressing up on the stick, just to be clear) with your net in your hands. If a wasp nest drops, your character will automatically turn towards it and do the "gasp!" expression. Repeatedly press the A button starting anywhere during the "turn and gasp" and you will just about always catch the wasps without having to aim or time your swing. Again, I know lots of people might already know this, but for the one player that didn't, I hope it helps you out :3
I paused the video to toss this advice in here, too. Glad I checked the comments. This is solid advice. Every since figuring out this method, I haven't been stung once, and while 2.5k bells/wasp isn't a huge amount, it's not nothing either. And for those just starting out, it's a sizeable chunk of cash every day, which is always helpful.

Here's a tip I have. Save all 5 wasps per day in your storage or somewhere until flick comes. you will get 1.5x as many bells. I should note that wasps are worth 2500 bells each.

Easy tip while looking for Celeste: Do a group stretching session, if she is not there, she is not on your island. If she is there however, then start searching.

Always stand in FRONT of trees when shaking them! You'll be automatically turned to face the wasps, with the perfect distance to catch them immediately! No more stings! :D
My daily routine: 1. talk to villagers. For hours. And HOURS. 2. Spend all my nook miles on nook tickets. 3. Travel to many islands, looking for Raymond. 4. Cry because I can’t find Raymond. EDIT- a lot of people are harassing me because i was looking for raymond. the reason im so desperate to get him is because me and my friend are racing to see who can get him first. there are definitely a lot of villagers i prefer.
A thing I do everyday is cleaning up sticks left from trees each day. They appear each morning and if you want to keep your five star rating you need to clean it up. And I go into my villagers houses to see if they are sick or crafting.
Don’t forget to the beach to collect the daily message in a bottle DIY recipes, also collecting the shells, crafting them, and selling them can make lot s of money. I also check if it’s a day that my trees or pumpkins fruit.
What I do -Open ACNH -Find tingz -Sell them -do the nook miles task -do Tom nooks task -talk to villagers and give my favs gifts -save and presses off buttom (This will repeat in an hour don't worry)
About the "shaking every tree" thing: If there's a stick that spawned next to a tree, there's something in that tree (bells, wasps, furniture). This saves time for shaking every single tree! Unsure if it's 100%, but it works most of the time, and im fairly certain is an actual thing, and not just luck I've had.
The problem is that we can do all of these in 10 minutes or less, then there is nothing else to do. I wish the new AC games had the system of AC Gamecube, where you can do quests for your villagers every minute, this way you still have something to do after doing the daily tasks, and get more reasons to interact with your villagers.
I haven’t seen flick in years I have so many bugs, I’m losing my mind everyday say “I bet flick is here” but that day has never come. It’s 2030 10 years and I haven’t seen flick I’m scared, he might be dead.
I only destroyed the 3rd level layer and made a small one for my house. Besides that and adding some waterfalls, I kept the layout as it was given to me. I just work with what I got. Hope this helps!
Same. Pretty torn myself. But I'm deciding on keeping the layout the same as it was given to me, except for some minor changes like making it easier to cross to certain parts of the island by filling in land where water once was. Then I just decorate around everything and just leave it natural like it was. Now moving buildings is something I am doing right now to make room for other decorating plans. Just no major changes to landscaping (rivers and cliffs).
I haven’t really terraformed much but my island has been covered in mannequins for a about 9 days now so i can spawn all my rocks into a rock garden that i made for them so they’re all together
Tip: I recommend walking to the front of the tree, if a wasp nest falls and you’re on the side, with personal experience it’s more difficult, but when you’re in the front of the tree and a wasp nest falls, you can just press A due to your character rotating so they’re in front of the wasp nest. Hopefully this helps 🙂
Mean while this is what I do: - Shop so much and buy pretty much everything on my island because I have no self control - Realize I have no money left because I didn’t do any of the outdoorsy stuff that earns bells - Look for fossils and hope that I already have them in my museum - Do some fishing - Talk to villagers

It seems like I’ve got all if not most of the fossil since nowadays each time I donate them to Blathers he’ll just respond with his usual “yes indeed, quite splendid.”. Still, I use them as an opportunity to gain lots of Bells, especially when I assessed like five fossils.
But thats actually a 'normal' time for all these things I guess 🤔 and if you had one of the other animal crossing games before(I had ac new leaf) you'are probably already used to doing your daily routines and stuff ;)
1:28 I actually tried to make sure this works, and they do drop things. You can also shake a tree more than once and get multiple branches. It will not happen every time, but it works. Thank You For Reading!
Quick tip! Timmy and Tommy will short you the cost of fish, bugs, fossils, and other items if you offer them more than 3 in one sale. PLEASE be sure to get fossils checks before selling and only sell them 2 or 3 at once. It can be time consuming but trust me, they will pay less for the same items if you try to sell more than 2 or 3 at the same time.
This video was great, thanks for the tip about the iron wall lamp! About the golden rose tip: once a black rose has been watered (with a golden can), it retains something that some people call a "gold flag". What that means, is that until that black rose has produced a gold rose, it has the ability to produce a gold rose, even if you haven't watered it in weeks. if it has a gold flag, then it will always have the ability to produce a gold rose until it finally produces one (although, it does need to be watered, just not with a gold can). So, that might not have been very clear lol, so if you want it explained better, AustinJohnPlays has a great video with a section near the beginning where he talks about it. @@Krisselia Another thing to bear in mind with the Golden Watering Can is that although the can will water a 3x3 square in front of you, only the flower directly in front of you will get the gold flag. If you have a bunch of black roses you want to create golds, water each one individually.

You can only have 9 or 10 villagers on your island, and there are over like "200" villagers in the whole game, as you can want them all but it will be impossible for you to get them all on your island at the same time. (edit. Dang you guys replying to me I know there's over like 400 villagers i just said "there are over 20" which means I KNOW that there are a ton okay? Sorry to be rude just wanted to let you guys know sheeeesh)

Just a tip that I learned yesterday. When you shake a tree and the wasps come out, just start clicking A. Your character will automatically turn towards the bees so if you just keep clicking A you should catch the wasps every time. Don’t try to run. Since I learned this, it’s worked every time.
The best thing that’s worked for me is to just stand directly *in front* of the tree you’re shaking. Press A once and you’ll catch the wasps every time.
More tree doesn't increase chances of dropping items in my experiance, i have 9 cedar trees up top of my island, the only regular none fruit tree on my island and every one each day gives me 2 items, bells and wasps in a couple of minutes, you don't need much more cus fruit trees will net you more bells through selling fruits than the handful that drop from trees, that's my experiance anyway.
a few tips i've found on the internet: customizing tools resets the durability you can use a flimsy tool until it's about to break and use it to make a stronger tool if you have extra materials use them to make tools for later
I do most of the stuff you do on your daily routine, in addition to purchasing at least one Nook Miles ticket and visiting an island. I collect fish, sea creatures, and weeds first, only securing resources (woods, rocks, iron, clay, etc.) and bugs if my inventory isn't full. I may do this more than once a day at the moment, especially since I'm working to pay off the basement loan for my home. Your tips for times to check in are very helpful, and I hope to remember them for the future! :)
2:12 *additional tip* instead of digging holes everyday with your shovel and damaging its durability, just place fences so that you have a safe corner to farm your bells/rocks ! Hope this helps :D
@@begumorde7384 idk about that fact honestly, but what i'm sure of is that having to always dig at least 2holes/rock everyday for the 6 ones on your island is time consuming... so if you want to optimize the time spent farming everyday, i would strongly advice to do that :)
I have yet to get New horizions but in wild world and new leaf I would always plant a tree by all of my rocks so if I was feeling lazy I didn't need to dig a hole and could just balance off of the tree.
Wasp catching tip: when the nest falls from the tree your character will emediatly turn to it! Make sure your standing infront of the tree while shaking them! As your character turns spam the A button so the net can activate and then you will emadiatly catch the wasps! Iv‘e tried this alot and it always works! Thank you for reading this! Easy tip while looking for Celeste: Do a group stretching session, if she is not there, she is not on your island. If she is there however, then start searching.
I did group stretching and she wasn't there but as soon as I finished I saw her walking past the palaza

Always stand in FRONT of trees when shaking them! You'll be automatically turned to face the wasps, with the perfect distance to catch them immediately! No more stings! :D

EDIT- a lot of people are harassing me because i was looking for raymond. the reason im so desperate to get him is because me and my friend are racing to see who can get him first. there are definitely a lot of villagers i prefer.

A thing I do everyday is cleaning up sticks left from trees each day. They appear each morning and if you want to keep your five star rating you need to clean it up. And I go into my villagers houses to see if they are sick or crafting.
Sticks don’t decrease your rating. They are natural items. The only things that do are unnatural dropped items like umbrellas for instance.

About the "shaking every tree" thing:
If there's a stick that spawned next to a tree, there's something in that tree (bells, wasps, furniture). This saves time for shaking every single tree!
Unsure if it's 100%, but it works most of the time, and im fairly certain is an actual thing, and not just luck I've had.

I just chopped down all my trees except 17 that way every tree will have either a wasp, bells, or a furniture items
The problem is that we can do all of these in 10 minutes or less, then there is nothing else to do. I wish the new AC games had the system of AC Gamecube, where you can do quests for your villagers every minute, this way you still have something to do after doing the daily tasks, and get more reasons to interact with your villagers.

I'm very conflicted between terraforming the hell out of my island or keeping it natural looking
I only destroyed the 3rd level layer and made a small one for my house. Besides that and adding some waterfalls, I kept the layout as it was given to me. I just work with what I got. Hope this helps!

Same. Pretty torn myself. But I'm deciding on keeping the layout the same as it was given to me, except for some minor changes like making it easier to cross to certain parts of the island by filling in land where water once was. Then I just decorate around everything and just leave it natural like it was. Now moving buildings is something I am doing right now to make room for other decorating plans. Just no major changes to landscaping (rivers and cliffs).
I spent a week flattening my entire island to terraform it the way i want ;-; dont do it, i regret it, work with what you have LOL
I haven’t really terraformed much but my island has been covered in mannequins for a about 9 days now so i can spawn all my rocks into a rock garden that i made for them so they’re all together
Tip: I recommend walking to the front of the tree, if a wasp nest falls and you’re on the side, with personal experience it’s more difficult, but when you’re in the front of the tree and a wasp nest falls, you can just press A due to your character rotating so they’re in front of the wasp nest. Hopefully this helps 🙂

I was almost finnished i just needed to upgrade my island some more but my switch got water in it and it broke and i had to get a new one!
i’ve been searching for a switch since easter end just finally got one as i wanted the AC edition. Finally found one at best buy 🤣
Mean while this is what I do:
- Shop so much and buy pretty much everything on my island because I have no self control
- Realize I have no money left because I didn’t do any of the outdoorsy stuff that earns bells
- Look for fossils and hope that I already have them in my museum
- Do some fishing
- Talk to villagers
buy so much that you fill up your storage then get a letter from the HHA saying "there's too many items on the floor of your house. You know you can store them, right?"
It seems like I’ve got all if not most of the fossil since nowadays each time I donate them to Blathers he’ll just respond with his usual “yes indeed, quite splendid.”. Still, I use them as an opportunity to gain lots of Bells, especially when I assessed like five fossils.
MondySpartan I also have all fossils. Blathers told me one day. Fossils are good way to earn bells when you have already completed your collection.
This makes me sad because my island is bugged and over the last 2 months after building nook’s cranny I still haven’t had a visit from daisy mae
she only comes on Sunday mornings so she won't be there after 11am

I actually tried to make sure this works, and they do drop things. You can also shake a tree more than once and get multiple branches. It will not happen every time, but it works.

Quick tip! Timmy and Tommy will short you the cost of fish, bugs, fossils, and other items if you offer them more than 3 in one sale. PLEASE be sure to get fossils checks before selling and only sell them 2 or 3 at once. It can be time consuming but trust me, they will pay less for the same items if you try to sell more than 2 or 3 at the same time.
This video was great, thanks for the tip about the iron wall lamp! About the golden rose tip: once a black rose has been watered (with a golden can), it retains something that some people call a "gold flag". What that means, is that until that black rose has produced a gold rose, it has the ability to produce a gold rose, even if you haven't watered it in weeks. if it has a gold flag, then it will always have the ability to produce a gold rose until it finally produces one (although, it does need to be watered, just not with a gold can). So, that might not have been very clear lol, so if you want it explained better, AustinJohnPlays has a great video with a section near the beginning where he talks about it. The video is the one with his new apiary in the title and thumbnail. thanks again for the video, I loved it!

@@Krisselia Another thing to bear in mind with the Golden Watering Can is that although the can will water a 3x3 square in front of you, only the flower directly in front of you will get the gold flag. If you have a bunch of black roses you want to create golds, water each one individually.

You can only have 9 or 10 villagers on your island, and there are over like "200" villagers in the whole game, as you can want them all but it will be impossible for you to get them all on your island at the same time. Just a tip that I learned yesterday. When you shake a tree and the wasps come out, just start clicking A. Your character will automatically turn towards the bees so if you just keep clicking A you should catch the wasps every time. Don’t try to run. Since I learned this, it’s worked every time.
Not every time. If you’re behind the tree you’ll just shake the tree again.
The best thing that’s worked for me is to just stand directly *in front* of the tree you’re shaking. Press A once and you’ll catch the wasps every time.

More tree doesn't increase chances of dropping items in my experiance, i have 9 cedar trees up top of my island, the only regular none fruit tree on my island and every one each day gives me 2 items, bells and wasps in a couple of minutes, you don't need much more cus fruit trees will net you more bells through selling fruits than the handful that drop from trees, that's my experiance anyway.

customizing tools resets the durability
you can use a flimsy tool until it's about to break and use it to make a stronger tool
if you have extra materials use them to make tools for later

I do most of the stuff you do on your daily routine, in addition to purchasing at least one Nook Miles ticket and visiting an island. I collect fish, sea creatures, and weeds first, only securing resources (woods, rocks, iron, clay, etc.) and bugs if my inventory isn't full. I may do this more than once a day at the moment, especially since I'm working to pay off the basement loan for my home.
Your tips for times to check in are very helpful, and I hope to remember them for the future! :)

The only thing I do everyday is make sure Hans knows hes the best villager.

2:12 *additional tip* instead of digging holes everyday with your shovel and damaging its durability, just place fences so that you have a safe corner to farm your bells/rocks !

@@begumorde7384 idk about that fact honestly, but what i'm sure of is that having to always dig at least 2holes/rock everyday for the 6 ones on your island is time consuming... so if you want to optimize the time spent farming everyday, i would strongly advice to do that :)
I have yet to get New horizions but in wild world and new leaf I would always plant a tree by all of my rocks so if I was feeling lazy I didn't need to dig a hole and could just balance off of the tree.
Wasp catching tip: when the nest falls from the tree your character will emediatly turn to it! Make sure your standing infront of the tree while shaking them! As your character turns spam the A button so the net can activate and then you will emadiatly catch the wasps! Iv‘e tried this alot and it always works! Thank you for reading this!
