You explained everything except for (or I missed this in the video) how much Tesla battery drain does it do on a daily basis if this is on all the time by keeping items cool??? I agree with some other commenters, this is a great styled fridge mounted where you show it.

@@babooobie So less than 1% a day even if you keep it on all day. (Probably a lot more because to keep the power on the socket, you would probably need to run Sentry as well)

The 2 drawbacks are
1. Doesn't have a freezer mode
2. Not easily accessible from the car's cabin
How come it says no for 7 seats? Isnt the space there the same at 5 or 7 seats? Is ur tesla a 5 or 7 seater?

My only issue is my Tesla constantly turns it off when vehicle is not in use. Works great while driving but as soon as the car goes into sleep mode it cuts dc power.
If you have sentry mode or camp mode on, it’ll stay on

I haven’t noticed any major issues. Once it disperses the initial heat, the fridge will disperse a lot less heat since it just has to maintain the colder temp

Does this drain the battery?
Yup, it uses up the battery but the car battery is massive. Technically, the battery is large enough to power a house for 2-3 days.
Is this off by default and only turns on when you manually turn it on with the power button?
Yup! Off by default
Can you leave it plugged in all the time? Will it kill your 12v battery?
I leave it plugged it but I only turn it on when I actually use it. I recommend doing that.
It shouldn’t kill the 12v but I think leaving it on all of the time would wear out the 12v faster.
Where does the hot air leaks out to?
I think out the front of the fridge

the problem is you are missing the 12v car charger in the trunk in model 3
How long does it take to get to a cool temp?
Depends on what the starting temp is but should take about 10-15 minutes
Have you found a way to turn off the beep? It's gotten so annoying for me!

I’m not sure. I haven’t measured it yet. I’d imagine it’ll be minimal considering the Tesla car battery is massive. Technically the battery is large enough can power a house for 2-3 days.
@@Teslatainment You're aware that this fridge is running of the 12v battery, that powers Sentry and other car systems while the car sleeps, right? It will degrade the 12v battery faster than it should
@@Markfps Good thing the car monitors the 12 (16 Volt) battery and tops it up whenever needed.

While i agree, it also takes up a lot more space, which is what you typically want as much off, if you go on a road trip and need to carry luggage.
