I think its probably actually a bad thing that I know more than 90% of the stuff in these 3 videos, but then again I did speedrun all achievements 1.7.3 for a while. (on the topic of that, one thing you can do is get on a rail by going from a minecart to a boat to another minecart >1000 away without leaving a vehicle at any time.)
My first MC version is 1.3.2 and I used to do 1:00 trick A LOT, super useful when your pickaxe is about to break and you need to get out of mine. I believe they only fixed it in 1.6!
Can't believe you still haven't mentioned my favorite obscure little minecraft fact only veterans know. If you are using a tool with left click and press right click, the tool will work as normal but the animation will stop playing. Edit: confused left and right

got a texture pack to mimic the old texture of the boat and blocks and used replay mod to get the camera angle
