Thanks Lee! This was the last of our big adventures for now, though I'm sure the band will get back together at some stage. More adventures with CBK on the editing desk. :)
Hi Mish, sorry you couldn't find more. It's good to see all of your family and friends with you. It makes it special, for everyone together having fun. Dang, I wish the bottle wasn't broken. Oh, another day! Take care and stay safe till next time. ❤
Thanks so much. I agree with your assessment of the bottle, mainly because I found one in much better condition just recently... you'll see in time, of course. :) Cheers!
Any old artifacts I love watching you find some great things you and Coffee Bush inspired me to get out hunting and i have found some civil war things and a few old coins thank you for sharing and God bless and stay safe
Thanks mate, I actually just got back from another trip to CBK’s turf so I’ve got a few more adventures to sprinkle into the mix. Of course, I’ll get twitchy if I don’t get my monthly quota of lead so I’m sure I’ll head back into the sand as well. 😂 Cheers!!
I would love to hear the off camera banter with a bunch content creators and detecting enthusiasts such as yourselves. I reckon it would be a laugh.! Your content always makes my day Mish Cheers
It’s funny, it can go either way… either we banter and laugh so much that we can’t get the job done, OR we get so focused on detecting that we all end up miles apart!! Today’s video was one of the latter. 😂 Thanks for the lovely comment!
Hi Mish looks like lots of fun when in a group detecting, good luck to you guys happy hunting. Waiting till you find that large gold nugget its coming .
Well Mish, I may have to say Chuckle's instead of Giggles! Either way it has made my day as always!! Great finds, I play Harmonica and there are some made that are multi-corded (G-C) that are very large. They are much harder to find any more; in America at least. Thanks, Mish for another pick-me-up day!!!
Thanks, Jesse! Appreciate you sharing the harmonica info as well. I’ve found many of the standard sized reeds in the course of detecting but never a whopper like that. Cheers!!
My appologies for my tardiness Mish, I hit the sack early, for an early start this morning, and am ashamed to admit that I missed catching up last night! Ill try not to let it happen again! ... loved the snake head, would have been nice to find the complete, whatever it is, that it belonged too!.. And a massive bass harmonica, what a beauty! to bad the silvers weren't shillings, but at least there spendable. Now im off to visit CBK, im late there too, so im blaming you! Cheers Mish!
G'day Wayne! Better late than never, I say - you're welcome to watch at whatever time works for you. :) It was a fun little fossick with mates. How good is that harmonica reed! I must admit... after talking harmonicas with a viewers today, I've gone and purchased one, so I can deafen the wildlife of the goldfields next time I travel across. Cheers mate!
@@DirtFishMish Make sure you inscribe your new harmonica, so that if you loose it out bush, some one, a hundred years down the track finds it, and they will have a name to research, wont they be surprised, and probably quite chuffed!.... I call them reed plates, you dont often find the reeds still attached, Cheers!
@@DirtFishMish I have a tendency to see bunny's and Elephants in the clouds too! Ive tortured a few animals in my time with my guitar and singing, and the occasional harmonica solo, I wonder if they ever recovered! hope so! Cheers Mish, catch you next week, Hooray!
Think outside the box is my advice! Parks will always net you something, but they can be quite trashy too. Perhaps you have a friend or family member who can offer their yard as a permission - or even your own yard? You just never know. 😊🤞
My favorite thing to find is Buttons and old pottery, it shows me that something has happened where i am and the button can be dated. Al's find of the old coin purse was awesome, ive found bits of them and always wondered what the hell it was, my question has finally been answered.
I’m glad we could solve a mystery item for you - if you ever find another then make sure you check for coins nearby! 😊 I’ll have a few more hunts of this nature in upcoming videos as I’ve recently just filmed a few more. Looking forward to editing them. Cheers!
Hey Mish...great video....and good to see the gang....some great finds as well......could that large reed be from a pan flute... and the letters n o u s on that piece of bottle glass would be the last 4 letters of POISONOUS I would say......take care :)
It could be, another viewer suggested maybe a multi-chord style of harmonica as well. I think you're absolutely right on the bottle ID too, well done :) Cheers!
Thank you! I absolutely love getting over to the goldfields. It’s such a long way from my home, but on this occasion we were all in the area for an expo and the timing was perfect for a day out together. I’m very grateful for the donation, too - it’s because of gestures like this that I get to keep on producing these adventures for everyone. So thank you again 😊 enjoy the rest of your weekend!
Honestly, I try different things all the time, there is no one preset of settings with me 😂 but if I recall correctly I was in Deep HC for this hunt, to try and help copper and silver coins shine through.
@@DirtFishMish Thank you, It is good practice prior to the hunt to give the metal detector kind, program and settings that you will be using. This helps less experience detectorist learn the machine and become more efficient with their machine. Keep up the good work.
@@TecheRidgeDigger everyone’s ground is different unfortunately, so what may work for one patch will not necessarily be ideal for another. I try to touch base on the ‘why’ of adjusting a particular setting periodically, so that users can determine what works best for their needs, but ultimately these days detectors have evolved to such a standard that default settings can work quite well for a novice user without the need to excessively tweak. Happy hunting 😊
Tokens are my elusive bucket lister - I have tried so very hard to find one whenever I'm in a region old enough to support their usage, and have been present when others have been found, but no luck as yet! The hunt continues. :)
Mish metal snake head?? Good name for a band .. Love it 😊
Hah! Good to have some semi-retirement options up the sleeve, I guess 😆
I love it 😻
2 locations + 6 great mates = 1 fun adventure! The banter was gold, and the finds were a bonus. - Your ‘detecting buddy’ & Ed 😊⛏️
Thanks buddy! hehe. Only 10 months or so until the rematch. We shall include more of said banter for sure. Cheers!!
Hey. I know all those people. Good time out hey. Always good to go out with mates. Take care mate 😁👍
They’re good people! 😁 Cheers mate.
Nice day out with friends Mish and a few interesting finds, I call that a good day. Cheers Pete
Thanks Pete! It certainly pays to check the 'trash' before disposing of it, I almost missed the snake head!
Your just a true professional, that would have been a rookie mistake, good job 👍
Hola amiga, saludos cordiales desde chile para todos ustedes amigos 🙋♂️🇨🇱🤝⛏️🗝️👍💍🙏
Thank you for sharing your group hunt. Its always fun to hunt with friends and it does matter how much you find. Only the memories!
Thanks Roberto, great bunch of people here as you know! Hopefully we can get all of them at a future DiD event. :)
Woo love a group hunt! How interesting great finds.
It was a lot of fun, I wish I captured more banter but I think we were all keen to go and find things! 😂
Awesome Mish! Great to see you all together 😍😃

Thanks Skye!
Good times with good friends.
Always cool detecting with friends 🎉not sure of the Winner brittania penny or potential part of a gun 👌
The penny was in really neat condition, pity I didn’t get a clip of it for the vid!
I enjoy the old horse tack, for sure!
Fun finds! Thank you for sharing the worlds greatest hobby.
Thanks so much! How good is this hobby, I’m so glad it found me. 😊
Another inspirational historical dig, thank you Mish. That half bottle looks like it could be a shear top ink well. They date back to the 1800’s
