PACE SIDETALK 1000M CB Radio

Hi all, lets take a quick look at the Pace Sidetalk 1000m from back in the day. These came into Australia under the KEMTRONIC SSB-1000 banner.
They were are entry level radio here in Australia but could not compete with the higher quality radios from back in the day and as such these radios are getting harder to find in reasonable condition.
Pace were and still are famous for the Smokey and the Bandit CB radios.

I have the same 40ch Pace 1000m, I also have the Kemtronic 40ch base station, looking out for the factory Pace 1000B 40ch....

Hi, do you if any 40ch Kemtronic 1000m actually had a compliance backplate that said "40ch"?

On this one its just the model number, most were 18 channel, however i got mine converted to 40 channel at WA CB Centre back in the day with OEM clicker,etc...

@vkradio1656 yes but it is a Pace radio in this video...someone I know reckons he has , bought it from new, a 40ch Kemtronic with a 40ch compliance plate on the back...since I have never seen it I am a little dubious.
