Hi doc,i have a question,whenever i tk probitics taken as tablets or satche ,i do get constipation, ,i wont be able to poo for 2- 3 days.....i have a problem of chronic constipation .Also when my son has loose motion even if we give him oral probiotics,he also will not pass poo then,though he has normal bowel function.....kindly address the issue....

I have not been able to take probiotics, but suddenly, I started making soy yogurt, and I seem to tolerate it. Now, I'm gaining some weight. That's not good, so I have to figure out how to compensate. Also don't want to get too much protein. It's all a balancing act, isn't it?
