Every time I listen to this version ,it gives me goosebumps! Quality! No wonder Josh wanted Dave Grohl to stay on permanently, as their drummer! After Dave helped them out, touring for a year as QOTSA,s drummer, post Nirvana! He had his own agenda (AMBITION). As we know, the "Foos" were then born ! To me , the Queens + Grohl had a huge influence on my musical tastes, post Nirvana!

Dave is a force of nature. He’s extremely talented and intelligent. A musical genius. However, he doesn’t quite have the weird artist bent like Kurt Cobain or other front men. This lineup, the 2003 lineup, and the 2005 lineup with Alain and Natasha. Those three lineups were all super great live, and probably anything after wasn't that great really, mainly live I mean. What I really enjoyed with the 2005 lineup was the instrument swapping, especially with Burn the Witch with Josh on bass made the song 10x heavier and when Michael Shuman came in it was less impactful and even less when Joey left the band.
