"Did you get fired, Daddy?
It was a mutual agreement!"
I can't, it is hilarious!!!!
🎉 I’m dying over here I called her father at work and let him know that that made the cut. 🤣🤣🤣
That was brilliant! I'm using it from now on.
🤣😂
😂😂
😂
Sunny is the perfect name for her!! She is just a ray of sunshine 🫶🏻
She could pass as a sunflower too. The green dress is her stem and her blonde hair is the petals . 🌻
I went to the comment section just to read if someone had said this. So bright and a ray of sunshine and joy, yet kind and, in her own way, down to earth. Definitely what the world needs more of 🤍
Agreed! What a fitting name!
Right?? She’s so adorable!
-greetings from sunny sasha saffire-
-and i and stormy too- 🌈 🌞
“ what do you see when you look in the mirror? “
“ Loved. “
This beautiful little girl. I pray that never changes. Her parents have done a wonderful job.
The hearts of parents, father and mother, are like no other, hearts full of mercy, kindness, and tenderness . Janiep
She could be an actual singer . She’s got a good voice
Those with Williams Syndrome are more likely to have "perfect pitch" and higher musical abilities
@@FoxOfTheAmulet that's crazy that a syndrome can do that!
She’s got a great ear.
@@FoxOfTheAmulet I sing, and noticed with surprise that many of those notes were dead on pitch. Interesting, I will have to do some research.
My friend has Williams Syndrome and he is the absolute sweetest ❤ so happy and loving. Been friends with him almost 30 years.
You are blessed.
I'm happy for you both😊❤
I also know a boy with it 😊 They think he might have autism too.
love 💚
So wonderful 😊
I find it funny that her brother said it was completely her fault for trashing his room. He sets his boundaries!
I love that! He's very logical and matter of fact, but gentle - The perfect thing for us neurodivergent folks (autism here). He's already an incredible young man, just think of the impact he will have on those around him when he's an adult! Absolute leader right there.
@@MayimHastings His shy little smile, what a sweetie.
The world needs MORE people like this...friendly, kind and sociable people.
💯
I got a friend with Williams, she's exactly like this, enlightening everyone with her smile. I feel very lucky for being her friend
When my daughter was little we thought she had Williams Syndrome, but it didn't show up in her chromosome test. Then we thought for sure it was Fragile X Syndrome, but that didn't test out either. Eventually she was diagnosed with ADHD and ASD1. She's 22 years old now. and very happy that she finally has an explanation for things that are challenging for her. She's married to a wonderful man who knows exactly how to support her.
That’s nice
the name sunny couldn't fit her more perfectly ☺️ she's adorable!
I'm glad that you let her sing alone. I have never met someone with Williams that does not carry a tune. One more interesting fact and she sang perfectly in tune. Wonderful parents and brother too! I wish everyone had her sensitivity.
Yes, both kids are absolutely adorable! Their parents are very lucky and must be very proud.
I don’t know to which extent it is true but I’ve heard all people with William’s syndrome are very gifted when it comes to music
a lot of people with williams syndrome are known to have perfect pitch! its interesting, i wonder how that works
Growing up, I went to school with a kiddo who had William’s Syndrome. We were in band together, and he ended up getting very close with me and my friend group. To this day, his Facebook posts continue to bring me the joy and brightness that his upbeat essence once brought me in person. Very lucky to have such a genuine and kind human as a friend!
Sunny is really a good singer. And her parents are so awesome. I wish all parents could just go day by day and not put tons of expectations of their very young kids.
My wife did a second major in therapy with an emphasis on play therapy. I can tell you her response to that would be something like "Amen, brother (or sister)".
We home schooled, and our kids still thank us for it. We did it for scholastic reasons, primarily, as the schools here in Fl, in our area, aren't too great.
After a while they both directed their own schooling, and are doing great as young adults, one owned a business in computer repair and IT, and now pulls down an engineering salary, undegreed, and the other is doing what she truly loves.
Chris, as you interview more and more people, you should put together playlists for each disability/diagnosis/condition (if you haven't already), so everyone who wants to learn more can easily see all the interviews you've done pertaining to that topic. It's a great way to see how these conditions present differently in each individual. :)
15 playlists so far :)
That's a great idea
I love that raspy voice . Sunny's a sweet, pretty, and smart girl❤
You're so nice and kind Chris. I wish more were like you
He was a special Ed teacher so that’s why he’s nice. He used to work with kids just like sunny.
@@Maggot_infesteddErm, or maybe he chose to go into special ed because he was already nice?
Sunny is the sweetest! I know disability is just one aspect of what makes someone who they are but every person I’ve seen a video about with William Syndrome seems exceptionally lovely. She’s also so smart and I loved watching her reaction to Chris playing guitar😊
What a beautiful, intriguing girl. And I love her singing voice. Wish I could hear her sing an entire song. Several times I felt sad when she seemed to indicate she was right on the verge of knowing something. Her words were, "wait, am I realizing something right now?" And she seemed to be searching for a thought or idea that was just barely eluding her. She's so intense in a way. This girl captivates me!
YES! I thought to myself, she needs a way to express herself other than words.. ❤
completely agree i was thinking the whole time i'd love to have a convo and pick her brain
30 Words out of her encyclopedia Britannica. That’s a good way to put it. She is so cute.
A beautiful way to explain it, truly 💚
@@moondoggie7478 It wouldn't surprise me if that was fairly accurate, too, as a ratio.
Her bro is such a little sweetie omg
Well, Sunny sure fits her name. 🌞 She actually has a really nice tone to her voice.
It sounds like her top love language is acts of service. She loves her mom best because she makes dinner, tucks her in at night, takes care of her...
What a cute brother she has. Beautiful family.
I have williams syndrome and its the best gift to have
My friend has it and he is the sweetest most loving person💕 definitely is a gift
Give me some 😢
idk, her words are so poetic! sweet, happy and smart girl
Would love to see an interview with an adult who has the same condition!
She seems like such a joy to be around, and also has such a supportive and amazing family which is so wonderful to witness
He’s done one I’m pretty sure
He did one like four years ago. Look up Williams syndrome special books
The world needs more people like her ❌
We need to be like her ✔
I went to school with a boy who had williams syndrome and I feel so bad because he was so bullied but he was SO sweet and I wish that I had been kinder to him when I went to school with him. Emmanuel, wherever you, I hope you are doing well
Sunny definitely would be great in singing classes ! Not only would it benefit her it would benefit the world, she is so great !
Sunny is literally a ray of sunshine 🌞
Sunny is adorable!.
She is the star! ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Chris is literally the best interviewer I’ve ever seen. He could probably sell cars like no one’s business too
Man I thoroughly enjoy this channel! Learning about all these different “disorders/syndromes” but also seeing the sheer happiness in pretty much every single challenged individual that Chris interviews is just so heart warming. Chris, if you read this comment, what you do is extremely admirable and the way you go about interacting with the people you interview based on each individuals specific character is just awesome and you’re very much a professional at what you do! Keep at it brother as with each new video I watch, my faith in humanity restores more and more and the world needs more inspirational people such as yourself!
My daughter is special-needs and her favorite thing in the world is music and to sing there is something very therapeutic about music
What a beautiful thing your doing. I'm 60 and you've changed my view of special needs and mentally challenged people. I look at these kids and people in a very positive way. They are so so needed
Just shows how important Chris' mission is through SBSK. I too have learned to respect and understand that no matter who or what condition anyone has, they are still deserving of love and have the right to be heard ❤️
I really applaud your ability to go with the flow and improvise with the silly whimsical things these kids say sometimes. And you radiate true sincerity and open-mindedness to all these different sorts of people. I wish I could speak this way so easily with kids
Is her actually name from birth, Sunny? Or is it a nickname? Because if it’s her original birth name.. wow what a beautiful wild coincidence.
They said that was her real birth name
I'm not able to confidently say my parents and brother love me (how Sunny can!) yet I am still living with them as an adult... No offense at all, but I'm just sharing how horrible I feel and how jealous I am of Sunny. This channel feels like a safe space to be that vulnerable. Also she is lovely and absolutely delightful. I'm soon going to be an elementary teacher and I'd love to have a student like Sunny
You are loved. Get ready for tons of love from your students when you become a teacher.
@@sarahcrandall2272 aww thank you so much! I appreciate you!☺
Although my parents love me, they have never been supportive of my mental struggles and my neurodiversity. I wish I could have parents like Sunny that let go of expectations and let me experience the world the way that feels comfortable to me while also encouraging my happiness. I wish you luck Kate and I hope we both one day build our own support systems
@@lazycloud4684 love you
YOU ARE THE BEST SUNNY 🌹
Sunny gonna tell it! So cute.
She is such a beautiful singer, I could have listen to her sing a lot longer
Sunny is the best. We are all the best! 🎉
Sunny is a BIG BLESSING, especially to her daddy. It seems she's teaching him joy
💜🙏🏻🫂🥰
"What is exactly a capybara? Precisely.
Let it be known that I did cut the clip right after her question because I took out my phone so we could research what a capybara is together 🤔 📱.
Capybara's are awesome, they are one of the most laid back creatures on the planet.
@@willj1598 they are my absolute favorite animals. So social and get along with all different types of animals.
The world's largest rodent. They live in South America.
@@SpecialBooksbySpecialKids LOL. Now I can add 'Priceless' to 'Precisely'. I love this channel, always a pick me up. Some of these folks have it so rough, and they demonstrate truly amazing ability to enjoy life to whatever level possible. It shames me, actually, when I gripe, considering what I take for granted, in terms of blessings.
I remember the first time I looked it up, and it was as a kid, after seeing one at the county fair, publicized as the world's largest guinea pig.
I have ADHD and the confusion and brain fog can get frustrating so I can't even imagine how frustrated she is feeling when it happens to her! And could anyone imagine Sunny going to some music lessons? I think she'd love it
I love her personality.
Chris, you are always so respectful and kind with all of the people you are interviewing. It keeps me coming back.
That moment with Chris playing for Sunny touched my soul ❤️🙏🏻🎶
Its a bit heartbreaking to see her feel like her brain is fuzzy or confused like making her "crazy ""in her own words if you will. But man watching her, watch him play the guitar is just amazing! God Bless Little Miss Sunny Jewel and her family.
What an amazing little girl ❤ couldn’t help but laugh at dads reply “it was a mutual agreement” 😂
Edit to say, after watching the video there is something special about Sunnys mum also, you can tell she was meant to be her mum for a reason, I wish the whole family the best
What a wonderful family. Mom and Dad are so loving and the brother is amazing. He understands her and her needs. His Special sister!!!
Chris, thank you for these vids.
This beautiful young lady is amazing.
I'm sending both of you a big hug.
You found you life's purpose and we reap the benefits of meeting all these wonderful people.
My cousin had Downs syndrome. We were great friends. I miss her every day.
It's all love.
These kids teach me so much.❤
You are blessed.
Mahalo for blessing us with sharing.❤
What's special about Sunny is that she has moments of pure lucidity, you can see that when she comments herself from almost a 3rd person perspective. Also, Chris goes hard on the Harmonica ngl.
Sunny is the perfect name for her… she truly is a ray of sunshine! 🌞What a delight to have someone like her for a daughter! ❤
Through your channel I learned what Williams syndrome is.
I love them, I am a huge fan of Alexandra, the other Williams Syndrome girl you showed here. She is so funny and I love to see her family too, how they care for each other, their lifes.
Great people!
She was realizing something sad about herself..and couldn't put it into words. She does sing well, and is learning and coming out of childhood.
I loveee her shes so cute and a perfect personality!
Thank you for everything you do SBSK!
She’s the sweetest
I love that she has a serious side and likes to enjoy interesting facts! Like she would be an awesome zoo tour guide or something like that and be able to tell all the interesting animal facts. ❤
She’s so beautiful! And super sweet ❤
5:27 "Love is everything."
She's so musically inclined. She immediately picked up on that chord change at 14:16. Wow.
Please don't ever stop making these videos.
This beautiful little girl has got a great lovely voice for singing.
I supported someone with Williams syndrome as part of my job and I must say that people with it aren't always happy,.even if they are most of the time. They are very friendly and loveable.
In this evil time of history, what a totally blissful way to live every single day . God bless her and keep her in the Palm of Your Mighty Hand.❤️
I absolutely agree with you 😊
@@janleslie7163 ☝🏻😊
Sunny has a wonderful personality as her brother mentioned. And also such a unique singing voice I really like it. I could imagine her taking up music/singing I think a lot of people would enjoy hearing her.
ive been watching S.B. by S.K since like 2016 and this might be my favorite interview. Just Great. Every bit of this was just Full of Joy.
Praise God. Well Done Brother.
I love Sunnys voice and i love mom's dress!
What a wonderful family !! Sunny’s name is so fitting for her.
I smiled the whole time watching this. So precious 😊
I hope she is well protected especially when she gets older, I don't think I need to elaborate on that, don't let her be alone always supervise who she meets and associates with.
She is a unique and shiny person, just brightness and happiness. I really like that Sunny has an incredible and supporting family like this. Really beautiful interview along with such amazing persons.
Thank you so much for doing all these videos. They never fail to put a smile on my face.
Such a sweet young lady! I wish her and her family all the best!!
As soon as I saw the title, I knew it was William's syndrome 😊 I learned that from this channel too! So genuine and kind. ❤
It is a big joy to see the whole family!
This girl is absolutely amazing! She seems like such a fun, nice, and generally good person to be around
What a beautiful young soul!! Wishing her the best life! She deserves it!
Thanks for introducing everyone to Sunny. ✨🌞✨
You are so absolutely wonderful with every one of these children. It really warms my heart.
AWW SHE IS SO LOVELY AND SO IS HER FAMILY THANK YOU YOU PUT A BIG SMILE ON MY FACE ON THIS GREY DAY BLESSINGS FROM THE UK
what a beautiful interview chris! really enjoyed this one as the mom was so grateful and i loved your playing the harmonica and guitar at the same time!
Chris, you said that you're kind of a teacher. I'm going to dispute that. You absolutely are a teacher. You may not be in the classroom anymore, but you're teaching a much larger audience every day. Plus, the way you relate to people shows that you never left teaching, you just changed locations.
Oh, and about Sunny: She's awesome (and so is her family).
Such a loving and authentic family. You are all so fortunate to have each other.
You have such a special way of interacting with humans Chris what a true blessing
Such a lovely family 😊❤ thanks for sharing Sunny’s story with us. She sure does seem fun!
What a darling family! Great interview!
She is so loved. ♡ I love it.
Thank you for still teaching us about different kids and adults and their lives with their diagnoses after all these years :)
👏👏👏👏 another masterpiece, thank you guys for sharing! 🩵☀️
Chris, this was such an uplifting interview! Sunny was so delightful. Her parents are so loving and understanding. Your guitar and harmonica playing really brought out the expressive and musical qualities that also make Sunny so special!
Love your silliness with the kids.
This is my favorite channel. 😊
This is exactly the video I needed to make me smile after a long shift at the hospital
Wow Chris this interview is one of my favorites! Beautiful Sunny and her mom, dad and brother are so caring and genuine. You really outdid yourself! I am so happy you make these videos for everyone to lean about all of the special kids and other people out there! ❣
What a great interview. Love her!
what a special and lovely human being! and what a perfect name for such a sunny dispostion. Id imagine she brings such happiness and joy to all around her every waking moment.
Hi Sunny! ☀️
Your video was amazing! Your enthusiasm really got to me and made me light up and smile. I was having a kind of so-so day, but now I feel much better, thank you so much!
I'm in a very dark place right now and your videos never fail to bring a smile to my face. Thank you for what you do.
You guys are amazing parents ❤
Lovely family, all 4! 😍😍😍 Thanks for this beautiful interview.
Please give us Sunny’s song start to finish! It’s such a treasure!! Was that improvised by you both? What a moment!
Sunny is such a sweet little girl. What a heart of gold she has...
That was an awesome interview and she is clearly a special girl with a special family!!! Praise God...I love supporting this channel...thank you!!! :)
