I bought the 16 pro max / 256 G . I honestly believe that it’s a better deal than the 16 pro / 256 G. It’s only $100 difference, it comes with bigger battery and bigger screen sizes. Anyway, it’s your money pick your favorite.
I upgrade every year. It is a luxury which I allow myself at my age (72) and since I am still working. I chose the 16 Pro Max with 512 gig of storage. It is a nice, solid phone. I like some of the new features of IOS 18.

I have the 16 pro max in desert titanium 256gb and it reminds me of another refined 13 pro max with a few more features. The size is a little bit much for me personally but I can’t complain too much because the battery life in this device is perfect and I love having a wider keyboard to text on. I will be keeping this device for the next 3-5 years as it’s a really solid device 💛💛💛
I have used a 6.9 inch android phone for 3 years now. The trouble is anything with a smaller display now feels like a downgrade, so probably the pro max 😅

Hey, I appreciate your content! I upgraded from a 14 Pro Max to the 16 Pro and I love my new phone. I heard about the increase in size with the 16 models and I knew this would be a good time to downsize and sure enough the 16 Pro is perfect for me and my use. I had always been a Plus/Pro Max user before and I wanted a change. 😎
I solved that problem this year: got both sizes. End of story. Still I use the regular PRO way more. It’s my fav. The max I use at home only, for media and gaming. The pro is the perfect one for all that and outdoor activities.
Bought the 16 Pro Max but the size is a bit much for me. I’ll keep trying to get used to it while I’m within the 14 day return period. I’ll most likely step down to the 16 Pro.

Got a 15 pro on release day. First time I didn’t go max. Wasn’t planning on upgrading for atleast 2 years, but right around the 1 year mark my battery health tanked. It went from lasting a full day to having to charge back up on my way home around 5pm back to 90% . plugging it in for bed and it’s down to about 25% again. I only average around 4hrs SOT a day. If I decide to get a 16 I’m definitely going pro max. Battery just holds up for so much longer over time.

I’m enjoying my Desert Titanium 16 Pro Max, which I’m typing from right now, looking at both the 16 Pro and Pro Max, there’s no difference between them this year, I always enjoy your comparisons. I feel in my opinion upgrading from a 14 Pro Max is noticeable and I get USB C, better camera which the 14 Pro Max wasn’t among best and battery life is noticeably better too, so there are some upgrades but like you said the differences are felt coming from something like an 11 Pro, 12 Pro or even 13 Pro and Pro Max.
Pro max any day! No need of a power bank, no worry of charging each night, moreover the battery keeps degrading each month. connecting SSD draws extra power too. Also the apple care plus is $199 for both an battery replacement cost is the same. camera button in pro max will not be accidentally pressed compared to pro. watching movies, playing games all that needs a pro max. just one compromise on the size out turns all the negatives!
i upgraded from an 11 pro to 16 pro max, to be honest I am disappointed besides the larger screen and thinner bezels the performance suppressingly feels the same.
I'm looking to upgrade from my old IPhone 8, been using it since 2017, I think I want a 16 pro/max over a 15 pro/max for the increased repairability. Don't really know why everyone is focused on the color of the phones since they're just going to go right into a case with a screen protector.

Is there a difference in speed even though both use the same chips? Reason is because I've heard reviews that the M3 chips work better on the 16" than the 14" laptops due to a bigger chassis for better thermals, even though both are running the same specs. Is that also the same for the iPhone?
It´s crazy how much cheaper iphones are in other countries compared to norway. I bought my 16 pro max for around 1700 usd from the norwegian apple store, it´s almost the sam price as flying to the states, buying the phone and back
I still have the 13 pro max and the battery life has diminished significantly. I’m not a heavy user. I may watch two or three videos a day and little bit of social media, some maps usage and I don’t take a lot of pictures and my battery goes down to 20% in no time halfway through the day but of course it is almost 3 years old also.

honestly, the battery life is different for each person because each person's gonna be doing different task, gaming, etc. And if you're gaming the battery is gonna die quick no matter what phone you have And people don't realize that batteries don't hold as much of a charge overtime batteries wear and tear people

This year the difference is only in screen size and battery size so those who want a bigger screen should get the 16 Pro Max and others can get the 16 Pro 👍🏻
The issue with the pro is that the base storage is only 128gb. I hate the larger size but the battery was so bad on my 14 Pro that I’m inclined to go the max route. Don’t like the desert titanium at all. The back glass is an awful salmon colour (kinda looks like a bandaid). I wish it was black with the gold frame.
Pro benefits: More comfortable holding + easier one hand use with thumb + takes up less space in pockets + Slightly faster + less likely to drop Pro Max Benefits: Longer battery life + larger display + slightly smaller bezels + Slightly louder + gets slightly less hot Conclusion: They both have 5 real-world benefits going for them that the other does not, it boils down to preference.
@@giovannirattin5884 16 Pro Max has more pixels to light up which requires more GPU power which slows the phone down a bit. Just look at the speed test online between the 16 Pro and the Pro Max. Pro is clearly faster.
Using my new iPhone 16 pro with iOS 18. Wow, this is way ahead of my Samsung ultra (selling it). It’s faster, smoother, feels more well thought out, voice input is excellent, I’m very impressed. It feels great and the level of personalised customisation with things like using menus on the action button (might just use the action button to toggle AOD when in home focus mode), the Dynamic Island, share sheets, focus modes, iOS workflow etc is way ahead of what I could do with android 14. Taking photos and video is a joy. Google has its work cut out! I’m keeping my Sony Xperia as well because it has a 3.5mm headphone socket and SD card slot.
I upgraded from iPhone 16s to a SE 2020 4 years ago because my 16 died and again I finally had to upgrade my iPhone SE 2020 because I lost it and I was hoping for a SE plus coming out with the button but we not getting that and I was not gonna pay $1500 for a 16 pro so I went with a 15 pro mainly because of the USB-C charger and for me it’s worth it especially since I probably won’t change the 15 pro until 2030 😅

I have 12 pro max with IOS 18 runs great with videos,camera and games with no issues.i don’t need to upgrade I’ll waith for iphone 17 above or galaxy 25 above.

Is there a difference in speed even though both use the same chips? Reason is because I've heard reviews that the M3 chips work better on the 16" than the 14" laptops due to a bigger chassis for better thermals, even though both are running the same specs. Is that also the same for the iPhone?

It´s crazy how much cheaper iphones are in other countries compared to norway. I bought my 16 pro max for around 1700 usd from the norwegian apple store, it´s almost the sam price as flying to the states, buying the phone and back

Here in Canada the price for the 16pro max 256gb is 1,749$ .maybe getting the 16plus 128gb or 256gb
I still have the 13 pro max and the battery life has diminished significantly. I’m not a heavy user. I may watch two or three videos a day and little bit of social media, some maps usage and I don’t take a lot of pictures and my battery goes down to 20% in no time halfway through the day but of course it is almost 3 years old also.

honestly, the battery life is different for each person because each person's gonna be doing different task, gaming, etc. And if you're gaming the battery is gonna die quick no matter what phone you have And people don't realize that batteries don't hold as much of a charge overtime batteries wear and tear people

I prefer the smaller screen size easier to use and a good size screen but not as good of battery life of the bigger one

This year the difference is only in screen size and battery size so those who want a bigger screen should get the 16 Pro Max and others can get the 16 Pro 👍🏻
The issue with the pro is that the base storage is only 128gb. I hate the larger size but the battery was so bad on my 14 Pro that I’m inclined to go the max route.
Don’t like the desert titanium at all. The back glass is an awful salmon colour (kinda looks like a bandaid). I wish it was black with the gold frame.
If I could afford it this year I would be upgrading. But unfortunately I won’t be upgrading😢

Can the 16 pro max fit in a jeans pocket?
Pro benefits: More comfortable holding + easier one hand use with thumb + takes up less space in pockets + Slightly faster + less likely to drop
Pro Max Benefits: Longer battery life + larger display + slightly smaller bezels + Slightly louder + gets slightly less hot
Conclusion: They both have 5 real-world benefits going for them that the other does not, it boils down to preference.

Just look at the speed test online between the 16 Pro and the Pro Max.
Pro is clearly faster.

Using my new iPhone 16 pro with iOS 18. Wow, this is way ahead of my Samsung ultra (selling it). It’s faster, smoother, feels more well thought out, voice input is excellent, I’m very impressed. It feels great and the level of personalised customisation with things like using menus on the action button (might just use the action button to toggle AOD when in home focus mode), the Dynamic Island, share sheets, focus modes, iOS workflow etc is way ahead of what I could do with android 14. Taking photos and video is a joy.
Google has its work cut out!
I’m keeping my Sony Xperia as well because it has a 3.5mm headphone socket and SD card slot.

I upgraded from iPhone 16s to a SE 2020 4 years ago because my 16 died and again I finally had to upgrade my iPhone SE 2020 because I lost it and I was hoping for a SE plus coming out with the button but we not getting that and I was not gonna pay $1500 for a 16 pro so I went with a 15 pro mainly because of the USB-C charger and for me it’s worth it especially since I probably won’t change the 15 pro until 2030 😅

i always get the pro but i always tell my self im going to get the max next only because the max has such a bigger battery but i went with the 16 pro 1tb again because 6.9 is just insanely big . I love the size of the pro . I only came from a 14 pro so i wasn't expecting a huge upgrade i can just notice the bezels
