Disclaimer - Not a Fanboy: I was a Samsung user, specifically of the Galaxy S series, though not the Ultra. I prefer handy phones. One thing I’ve noticed with every Android phone is that it works like a charm at the beginning-very fun, with more features to use. I’ve used the Galaxy S9 Plus, S21, and S22. However, as time passes and your storage fills up, apps start lagging, and the phone really slows down. Now, I switched to the iPhone 13 Pro two years ago, and I’m still using the same phone. It’s still smooth, and even though my storage is 95% full, there’s no lag. This is because iOS apps are optimized very well, whereas Android apps often aren’t. Again, I’m not saying the iPhone 16 is worth buying. As a normal user, my priority is day-to-day apps like Facebook, email, Instagram, UA-cam, banking apps, and shopping apps. I use my phone for casual browsing, photography, and need decent battery life. If your phone can perform these tasks smoothly without any lag, stick to that phone. Don’t chase after gimmicks, whether it’s an iPhone or a Samsung. 🤗
@@Dude_Virus same, tried both phones but android really just is very versatile and the better option for multitasking. couldnt let go of the split screen and clipboard function on android.
I've found that doing a factory reset (including backing up and restoring your stuff afterwards) on Android a few years after buying the phone might help to get back that performance. Also, Samsung has really good battery optimization options, allowing you to put apps you don't use as often in "Sleep" or "Deep Sleep" modes, which not only improves battery life, but it also makes the phone less laggy. In addition, the latest Android upgrades seem to have fixed up some issues I've had previously. I'm still using my mid-range 3 year old Samsung Galaxy A52s. There was a period where it was starting to feel slow and sluggish (on the Android 12 update, for the most part), but now, after doing everything I've mentioned above, it's really fast, just like a new phone. I also noticed something similar on an much older phone I had to switch to temporarily while my main one was being repaired. My point is, there's more work to do to keep Android running smooth, but it is possible.
My S23 Ultra and its 200mp mode is absolutely amazing when you want to take a picture, and capture details even when zooming inn a hell of a lot. Most recent situation I used this on my S23 Ultra was while in a traffic jam nearly 8km long due to an accident further down the highway, and the normal 12mp and 50mp pictures were not showing much detail when zooming way in to get a closer view on things, but the 200mp camera allowed me to not only show real clear details at that distance, but allowed me to actually see myself what was going on way up ahead more then I could actually see myself. I also find the S23 Ultra takes better images then the S24 Ultra, just seen way too many side by side comparisons with the image quality just looking a little better in every situation then the S24 Ultra, and this was as recently as 3 weeks ago, regardless of zoom, 90% if the time The S23 Ultra just had a slightly better image, more clear and less noise, and the lighting looks more natural and also pop when you want them to, and video quality, with the main camera and the x10 camera, and also up to 100X zoom, just better on the S23 Ultra, like there is way too much processing going on with the S24 Ultra that it ends up making the image worse or something, but mainly the difference is at 5x and up because the S23 Ultra has a 10X camera, where the S24 Ultra only has X5, and has to digitally zoom more and therefore loses image quality more so then the S23 Ultra's 10X camera, making images taken at 100X look more clear and less noisy, and able to make better use of zoom and I think better use of the 200mp mode in general. There are some improvements with the S24 Ultra but I think the camera just isn't better, but actually slightly worse, like the screen I just prefer much more on the S23 Ultra, with the slight curve that gives a more premium feel, and the image quality itself looks better as Samsung wanted more natural and slightly dull colours with the display, something they tried to fix but is a hardware limitation so the improvements from updates just don't look as good. From using the S24 Ultra I don't notice any real difference in performance, even seeing apps and other things load slightly faster on the S23 Ultra, maybe because of the amount of work that went into properly optimizing the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 "For Galaxy" edition all S23 phones have, where the S24 series has a mix of a near bone stock Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 CPU, which does have a better GPU, but does seem of all behind every so slightly in general performance, not enough to notice really unless you have both side by side. And remember when using benchmark apps, the phone is then allowed to unlock its full performance just for benchmark purposes, because generally your phone is capped with performance due to cooling. If they were allowed to use the full performance all the time, it would overheat and kill itself within a matter of minutes, meaning even if the Snapdragon 8 gen 3 shows better performance in benchmarks, it still is unable to use all that power, and is capped at basically the same performance, minus the GPU, at everyday tasks and games, and is where some of the lag if you will, comes in with the S24 Ultra, because if both the S23 Ultra and S24 Ultra were allowed to go all out in every day performance with the proper cooling which again, neither phone has, the Gen 3 would 100% be the faster one in just about every case. It is just something to keep in mind when choosing between both phones, because I personally still see no reason to "upgrade" to the S24 Ultra other then the 3 extra years of support, but my S8 being nearly 6 years old still has no issues doing anything I want it to, where the iPhone SE made the same year is basically a brick because it is too slow to do anything really because Apple effectively bricking it from updates, and is why I refuse to get rid of it, because of that reason, always having proof of those scumbags forcing people to upgrade by basically ruining their devices they don't want to give up.
Well... idk if im blind but my voting is different from yours from what you showed.. but cat 4 5 6 7 8 9 and 10 i gave all to the samsung Also, samsung can take 24mp photos on expertraw mode. Been using Samsung. Now my TV is Samsung, my washing machine is Samsung, my aircon is Samsung, my refrigerator is Samsung. Probably wont switch to Iphone anytime soon 😂
It's so funny to me how people praise the Apple eco system. Like yea it works well and feels seemless but it better does considering the few things you can connect 😂
I don’t know if I like the new iPhone mic software yet. It does do a good job removing background noise, but it sounds like it’s chopping up the voice too and it’s bothering me.
Both phones have insane camera capabilities, but it’s clear that the iPhone 16 Pro Max excels in natural color accuracy, while the Samsung S24 Ultra crushes it with crazy zoom and detail. It’s like choosing between a DSLR and a pro mirrorless camera.
Agreed both have incredible cameras. But I think there is some misinterpretation here, as the iPhone consistently had better detail retention in nearly every shooting situation in nearly every situation where he highlighted detail. The only real exception was when looking at the extreme telephoto and when using the 3x zoom camera (which was an optical zoom instead of the iPhone’s digital cropping to 3x equivalent). I do think there were situations where the Samsung may have slightly done better showing the actual brightness of a scene, ending up a little darker for sure, but only one time in this video did I appreciate that more than iPhone’s attempt to balance everything. I definitely agree that the iPhone has better colour accuracy, though I can agree it sometimes isn’t as good with skin tones (though to my eye it still seemed better / more natural than the Samsung’s in this specific case).
S24 Ultra never wins in the detail category. If you bring Pixel 8 Pro ( which I can personally vouch for ), its 50MP shot 100/100 of the times trumps Samsung's 200MP or 50MP shots quite easily. I don't know how Pixel fares against the new iPhone but the detail king is Pixel. There's no argument
8:59 When we talk about using the phone without hands in the Samsung you can use the pen but also in the iPhone you can use eye tracking which for me it makes pretty much equal for me lol. Amazing comparison! I really needed a video like this

@@elliott369you are very wrong. I have s24 ultra and can enable HEIF in camera options. Also HEIC, which stands for High Efficiency Image Format, is a file format developed by the Moving Picture Experts Group (MPEG). Apple was just first user, but not creator.

As an iphone user I won’t lie Samsung is underrated you can get low budget accessories iPhone need to step their game up every year it’s repetitive things for a high budget price
I mean, lets be realistic here. The s24 ultra is about the same price as the 16 pro max, and the differences between the s23 ultra and the s24 ultra are about the same as the differences between the 15 pro max and 16 pro max.
The audio quality on the iPhone is really impressive, especially with the wind reduction features. It’s great to see phone cameras evolving on so many levels beyond just visuals.
I think one thing that people don’t realize with the spatial camera features is that it doesn’t ONLY work on the Vision Pro. Meta headsets lets you upload spatial videos and photos on the meta quest app, and it automatically syncs to the headsets spatial video/photo section in the meta quest gallery app. I’ve tried it both on the Vision Pro and my Quest 3 and they are both basically identical in terms of quality.
Maybe in that shot, but the fact that iPhones are 1000% better for Instagram and Snapchat selfie videos is what makes it take the cake for that category
The biggest minus of the iPhone 16 Pro Max is on the zoom side. The telephoto camera is only 12 MP, while the competition has 48 or 50 MP. When cropping, more mega pixels are needed for the digital zoom to be better.
@@Randomdude21-e No. The S24 ultra was released 8 months before the iPhone 16. The S25 will be released 4 months after. The gap between the 25 and 16 is HALF the gap between the 24 and 16 Its like comparing iPhone 12 to 14 vs 15 to 14. 15 to 14 is a better comparision

No there are some minute differences in quality. And arun is giving his points based on those microscopic asf differences. Its what cameras are all about these days
I tried watching on my monitor and phone, i must say the difference is only noticeable when scaled up. If you'd watch on a huge TV the difference would be even greater. For someone that mostly uses their phone to watch pictures, the difference between those two phones is negligible.

Finally, someone who uses both. I'm tired of hearing from iPhone or Android users who have never tried both but are loud to criticize the other😂
@@Kamikazejets I have used both and i still would prefer android over iphone mostly due to the ease of use on android.
@@Dude_Virus good for u. Your choice.
The fact that professional DSLR cameras aren't 200MP should tell you everything you need to know about the value of that spec.
😂😂useless feature not really optimized
It's sole purpose is for marketing and bragging rights. Samsung shoul admit that they went the wrong way and instead revert to 48mp/one-inch.
meanwhile sensor size is less than a inch
Mega pixel isn't everything, a decent dslr will wipe the floor with them
It’s all about the camera sensor size, more information the camera can capture the better

@@huaweiallc13 show me a camera comparison then
Its a bot@@emm4148
It is just something to keep in mind when choosing between both phones, because I personally still see no reason to "upgrade" to the S24 Ultra other then the 3 extra years of support, but my S8 being nearly 6 years old still has no issues doing anything I want it to, where the iPhone SE made the same year is basically a brick because it is too slow to do anything really because Apple effectively bricking it from updates, and is why I refuse to get rid of it, because of that reason, always having proof of those scumbags forcing people to upgrade by basically ruining their devices they don't want to give up.

when he clearly shows the iphone had better details 😂
@@leeelchapochapman4887 🤡🤡🤡🤡
Iphone has better details 😅
