*Tips to consider between Pro vs Pro max* : 1. comparatively The 16 pro max feels lighter and slimmer than the 16 Pro because of its size. The extra 27grams in the pro max feels light for its huge size. 2. The content consumption in 16 Pro max is on another level. If you are watching videos and photos from social media or you’re into watching sports streams like F1 & Football the pro max will absolutely bring the best experience for you (you’re gonna love watching live football in this 6.9 beautiful display) also you can watch it without the worry of getting your battery drained for the rest of your activity, the battery lasts way longer. 3. If you’re super into Mobile games , then hands down the 16 pro max is best available option. It’s a no brainier & even easily ahead of the S24Ultra 4. The screen is fuller than the pro. This is something most reviewers fail to notice. The Bezels are much thinner in pro max than the proS. It’s much immersive visual experience in the 16 pro max 5. If you’re primarily only one device user go for the 16 Pro max. But if you’re into multiple devices (meaning you have a iPad or any other tablets for your other activities or have laptop with you all the time go for the Pro - because you simply have less use case to carry a giant screen with extra battery) 6. The pro feels handy in size and carrying around is easy compatible with almost all of your outfits. Where’s the pro max requires a bit more caution in small pockets. 7. The pro max is strictly a 2 hands phone (unless you have huge hands) don’t risk it trying to use it one hand. The pro is one handed , however the normal 16 is the best option for one handed use, it is slimmer and lighter and round comfortable edges than the Pro for one hand usage) Hope that helps, Thank you
Wow thank you so much i am planning on buying 16 pro max this weeek i used 12 pro max for one year then had to sale cuz of financial issue then was on normal android is it worth buying 16 pro max?
@ I’m not sure at this point it will be worth for the price considering in 8 months from now apple is introducing 2nm ultra fast chips with more efficient carbon silicone batteries, upgraded bigger camera sensors and new design for the iPhone 17 series for the same current price of the16 series ! So even if you replace the 16 pro max for the 17 pro max later you will loose half the value. It’s better to wait to buy the flagship model as 2025 is a leap ahead in technology (the phones will be lighter , Slimmer with more power and less heating issues with long lasting battery and improved cooling technologies) so if you could wait till September you’d get a worthy phone for your money and can use it for much longer periods without missing out on anything in future. Also at the end of Q3 you will get lot of offers from mobile websites and sellers for the 16 series means tge price will drop much steeper than it is today for the 16. So all you need now is to wait till iPhone 17 launches or spend on something cheaper for 8 months so you can upgrade to the futuristic iPhone 17 pro or pro max
I think the 15 Pro Max’s dimensions were perfection, and the 16 Pro just matched it for anyone who wants a phone with a display big enough to be usable for many tasks without sacrificing a comfortable build.
Which many tasks are you talking about? That 7 inch screen still can’t multitask, split screen or do floating windows. Which is.. odd for that price tag.
I upgraded to 16 pro max coming from a 13 pro..Used for 25 days and exchanged for 16 pro. For me convenience and comfort ended up out weighting the battery life and screen size.
13pro currently was thinking of going 16pro max so thank you for this comment. I think I’m leaving 16 pro at this point for the size with how active I tend to be between work and normal life
may I ask how much % your battery drains after one hour of Netflix streaming on the iPhone 16pro? just for reference, because I am concerned about battery life
iPhone 16 pro, set to 95% charge limit. And it lasts the entire day with no issues. Obviously I don’t game on my phone, just regular social media apps, a bit of photography, UA-cam, and calling. At the end of the day, it gets 30% remaining. Only catch here is, I’ve switched to LTE, as LTE connections here are just good enough for my every day usage.

That’s what I’m trying to do right now. Switched from the 11 PM to the 16 Pro and I haven’t gotten used to the size and the battery has been worse than my 11 PM. Should I go for it?
Had a 12PM with 85% battery life and got the 15 Pro last year. The battery life was identical. I had to recharge 1-2x a day everyday. With the 16PM I get through the entire day w/o recharging and still have 30% juice left
You hit the nail in the head by saying that bad battery life is the biggest reason to switch a phone, at least in my case that has been true. I loved the form factor of the iPhone 12 mini and that probably still is my favorite form factor of all time. However, the battery life was horrendous in comparison to even the regular size phones of that time period in my experience. I compromised my favorite form factor for something that I considered essential, better battery life.
@@Keano999iPhone 15 base model however battery can be an issue at times still I’m a heavy user 😅 much better than the 12 mini though which left much to be desired. Really miss how small and comfortable the phone was. If I could have that form factor with good battery life *chef’s kiss*😂

Great comparison...I actually switched form the 14 Pro Max to 16 Pro...I found that that Max phone sizes are too big to fit comfortably in my pocket. That was my biggest reason to switch. As far as battery, I have access to charging if the smaller Pro is low or needs topping up so no issue for me. Both phones are great, but like I said my only issue is the size of the Max size phones. Price was not a deciding factor for me...but it was nice not having to flip the bill for a bigger phone.
I have an iPhone 14 Pro Max as well, and I’m thinking about buying an iPhone 16 pro. Do you recommend this change? I’m worried about the screen size, because I get used to large screen, and having a smaller one could be uncomfortable
I just use the regular sized pro. I have areas I can charge up my phone everywhere from home, to my car and to my office. And if I know I'm going to be having a long day out, I have the portable Anker usbc plug in battery pack that takes up very little room in my pocket. I just can't do large phones anymore it's not convenient. I can always solve for the battery problem while having a smaller phone, but I can't solve for the size problem while having the bigger phone.
I switched from iPhone 14 Pro Max into 16 pro , and this is … Amazing. Im a big guy 193 cm ,96 kg , with not very big hands but slight above the average. To me to absolutely perfect phone - iphone 17 pro should have 6,5 inch! This would be an ideal phone to. Big enough to container content but stil convininet to use one hand.
For most people, they should get the regular iPhone 16. If you need the pro model, get the regular pro model. Perfect size. If your phone is the only device you have (ie no tablet or laptop), Pro max is choice.
@@pep1679 Not yet , but I used both phones completely and loved the pro max .. it feels lighter and slimmer than the pro - although it is the same thickness the pro max feels slimmer and lighter because of its size .. also the bezels are smaller in pro max than pro making it a incredible content consumption device.. if you only have one gadget then pro max is great . It lasts much longer
I am wavering a lot between these two. The pro is the same size as my current phone which I find to be perfectly fine with plenty of space, but the extra size of the Pro Max is very tempting just for seeing more of my photos when shooting and for showing others. Though on the other hand, I almost don't want the larger screen as it could suck me in more to my phone, which isn't great for a general life balance. Plus a few pairs of my pants have quite small pockets where my existing phone barely doesn't peek out of it. Decisions Decisions.
I am writing from my 16 pro max , i say this thing is huge guys ,i used it for 20 days till now , i’m going to exchange it and get the 16 pro , for people with small to regular hands , the pro max is not a good deal , this thing is massive like a tablet , i keep using two hands all the time and it makes me feel fatigue in my hand , the pro is more than enough it has everything you need . Watching videos on it is a good experience, i used it a little in the store and it seems good to me , i am going back to exchanging this time .
Couple of pointers: 1. Make the keyboard on the Pro Max right handed; press and hold keyboard button on the bottom left and then shift the keyboard to the right (or left) and swipe the keys. It’s bliss. 2. You don’t have to keep letting us know you have an above average hand size, we get it… you buy bigger gloves than us. 😆 But seriously, tip 1 made my 16 Pro Max (and 14) so much easier to type on; and keep up the amazing work buddy!
I’ve had the 12 pro max for a few years and although I like the big screen it’s so uncomfortable to carry around & I often rest my phone on my pinky and it causes discomfort. I even tried a pop socket and it’s not helpful either, I may switch to a 16 pro considering it’s only a bit smaller in my opinion but it’ll be much more comfortable to carry
The size of the phone is totally a personal choice. Earlier I was having Samsung ultra series phones and after that I used samsung z fold and my experience with the fold phone was worst, green and pink colour lines appeared on the outer screen and the inner main screen dead suddenly. And I took the decision to switch over and Purchased Apple iPhone 16 pro max. And it is best camera phone in the market till now. Bigger screen size fits in my hands properly.
I'm on a 2 year contract with my 15 Pro max, before that i had the 13 pro and i loved that phone! I got the pro max last year cause i wanted that 5x zoom. I personally think the biggest iPhone i can live with was the 11 pro max, these current max phones fit so hard in my pocket and i hate using them one handed, so when i will upgrade next year i will get a 17 Pro ^^
Had every Pro Max since the 12PM, went with the 16 Plus this year due to the heaviness of the Max phones. Although, I am thinking about getting the regular Pro because I want the telephoto camera. The 60 Hz doesn't bother me.
That camera button on the iPhone 16 and pro models I wish we can use that for a flashlight and a do not disturb. Because I’m just being honest, using that camera button for a flashlight would be so useful and that do not disturb. Hear me out think about it. This would be a really smart idea.
Use the action button for the flashlight. You can use shortcuts to make the action button turn on do not disturb before a certain time (Like 8pm) and then after 8pm it will turn the flashlight on.
what I’m trying to explain. I know we got an action button and we can use flashlight and shortcuts on it. Apple want us to use the camera button on the new phone right? But a lot of people is not using the camera button on the new iPhone 16 why not use that for a flashlight is quicker access to turn on the flash using that button will be a good idea or do not disturb you’re in a meeting randomly you do not know and you need to put your phone on do not disturb. That’s a quick button to press.
Pro is the perfect fit now. I always get both, so I round all bases. yet this year I gave the max to my wife, and she returned it for a regular pro. Easy! 😂😂😂😂
Upgraded from the 12 pro max to the 16 pro max. Same color, white. The only real difference I could notice were the camera module on the 16 was bigger. And now my Otterbox case has a cutout for the camera control. Other than that feels exactly the same.
Here in Canada the 16 pro start at 1,449$ for 128gb and the 16 pro max 256gb is 1,749$ .in first week of january will be switching from samsung s23ultra to 16pro max .going back to the dark side like my husband is saying
Hello madam VERONIKA please can you offer me your Samsung S23 Ultra ???? I own a Samsung 6 😢 for many years now and i wish to have something better 🙏🙏🙏
If i had to pick one i will choose the 16pro! Mainly for the size mainly cus been using big phones since 2013 ( note 3,note4,note9 and then the iphone 13pm in 2021. Seriously thinking of buying the iPhone 16 pro
I have the 14 pro max I love the bigger phones for the bigger battery I need it to last whole day for work and I hate having to charge during the day but I’m not upgrading till the 17 comes out
The issue with the normal 16 Pro is that it only comes with 128gb storage, while the max has 256Gb. Once you upgrade the storage on the regular Pro, it’s almost the same price as the max. So it’s purely around comfort vs bigger battery\ screen. I haven’t had a max phone since the XS Max, which I hated. What drove me to the Max size again was how abysmal the 14 Pro was in terms of battery life. In less than 2 years my 14 Pro battery health degraded to 79%.
The BATTERY alone is why you should upgrade take it from a real day to day one device person this phone is way cooler and last way longer you don’t realize how great that is until you get it
Went from the 11 and just upgraded to 16 pro and it felt so small compared to my 11 so two days later switched it for the 16 pro max my regular 11 was perfect size but the 16 pro just felt to small like a se with a big camera forced me to get the max
What is the talk time for the 16 pro max? I ask this question that after speaking for awhile, lets go maximum 2 hours, I see after completing the conversation and hanging up, my battery percentage has dropped and even after searching on google. So you get what I mean? So what have you obtained in just a primary conversation for say 2 hours and search on google for say an 1hour? Video: very well presented and well put together plus, no music in the background which makes it so much pleasant to watch and listen to what you are presenting. Thank you.
@@CJINW its like everytime they reviewed iphone pro max model they always complain about the size, as if they only have one hand? When they reviewed ipad they dont complain for the sized!
Loved my 12 pro but battery wasn’t great after two years. Current S23U love the size and the battery life is immense however a week before upgrade like my S9 charging port failure even after removing debris it still won’t charge via cable. So off it goes just got a 16 pro Max actually lighter than the S23U.
My only problem with this phone in general, is I like fully enclosed cases, but because of that extra button, they’re much harder to find… I personally don’t like the half cases since they’re prone to collecting dust on the back of the phone between the case.
Battery life is super important to me. I'm currently using the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. I switched from the iPhone 15 Pro because the battery life was terrible. But I still love Apple products. I might get the iPhone 16 Pro Max later this year, maybe in December or January.
I have a 15 plus and battery life on this device is bonkers. After a day of usage that is 12 hrs, I have 50% battery left. So I recharge on the next morning. Overall I get 8- 10hrs of screen on time with 24 hrs of usage and 30% battery left.
I still run the 12 pro max ,work horse poor guy has been thru construction work and torture still going just broke the screens due to a cheap cover looking into a new phone
What you might not realise is that not all people have the same use case for their device, and some people use them professionally. For me on work days I have around 9-11 hours of SOT, with a lot of navigation and camera usage. So anything less than that is inconvenient to say the least.
I had the 15 Pro Max and genuinely didn’t like it. I eventually sold it off and left iPhone for Android. Missing the Apple experience I thought I’d try a regular 15 Pro and I genuinely love this phone. It’s just the right size and I find that’s what was missing. A comfortable one handed experience made the difference for me.
I’m all for great tech, but the Max is borderline uncomfortable sometimes. This vid is making me rethink the bigger screen. Regular Pro might just be the move this year.
I can reach the action button easy because I'm left handed 😂😂😂 15 pro max is easy to put into my pocket. Does it make that much difference on the 16 pro max?
Got the 16 pro in Natruel and I don’t like the 128 GB tho when I got my flip 5 they upgraded me to 512GB for free I miss that but it broke it was bad lol it sucks being at 128 tho
Not gonna lie if Apple made a 6.3 phone by the frame I would definitely buy it because the phone won’t be too tall and it won’t be too short . It be that middle phone for the pro and Pro Max.
Same! I have pretty big hands and still struggled with using the max with one hand. I’ve realized how much I use my iPhone one handed and the pro is perfect for that.
7:17 gaming isn’t better or worse on either phone. Really? Try not using a controller. Touch screen controls are waaay cramped on the pro. Pro Max all the way
Could tell from the start you were biased for the PM lmao, you kept downplaying the benefits of the regular pro while praising the advantages of the PM, e.g. the speakers. Do you actually listen to music from your phone speakers? Additionally, f you truly value battery life over portability, why not get an external battery so that the battery is never an issue again? Lastly, on reddit, there are tons of posts where people switched back from the PM to the regular pro strictly due to its size. I'll end up getting the PM myself, I use my phone for ~2h a day, battery isn't an issue, but I enjoy a bigger screen to read messages/videos

@@harishFx16Have you got it? I’m also thinking of exchanging my Pro to the Pro Max
Decisions Decisions.
so how was your decision at least?
I traded in my 12 Pro Max for the 16 Pro. It’s just a tad smaller. The size is perfect. I’m SO glad I did not get the 16 PromMax!!!!!
Same here. I feel good with 16 pro now. ❤️
I’ll be trading my 12 pro max to 16 pro as well. Hehe. I hope its worth it.

With an upgrade from an iPhone 13 Pro Max looming I’m really considering going for the 16 Pro. This was a really helpful video, thank you
I am writing from my 16 pro max , i say this thing is huge guys ,i used it for 20 days till now , i’m going to exchange it and get the 16 pro , for people with small to regular hands , the pro max is not a good deal , this thing is massive like a tablet , i keep using two hands all the time and it makes me feel fatigue in my hand , the pro is more than enough it has everything you need . Watching videos on it is a good experience, i used it a little in the store and it seems good to me , i am going back to exchanging this time .
Couple of pointers:
But seriously, tip 1 made my 16 Pro Max (and 14) so much easier to type on; and keep up the amazing work buddy!
Yeah, i noticed that. Kinda weird how often he mentioned it. I don’t think he has “slightly” above average hands just looks average to me.
he wants us to know because he thinks it also means something else
I’ve had the 12 pro max for a few years and although I like the big screen it’s so uncomfortable to carry around & I often rest my phone on my pinky and it causes discomfort. I even tried a pop socket and it’s not helpful either, I may switch to a 16 pro considering it’s only a bit smaller in my opinion but it’ll be much more comfortable to carry
If you have an iPhone 16pro max get a mag back case pro or the regular one with the wallet it helps tremendously n keeps it safe
I’m 6’3 and have big hands and I won’t be upgrading to the pro max from my 14 pro max. Next time I upgrade ill get the regular pro
@@tylerjensen3307 do you have a iPhone 16 personal ? I’m just curious.
what I’m trying to explain. That’s a quick button to press.
flashlight uses too much battery
Pro is the perfect fit now. I always get both, so I round all bases. yet this year I gave the max to my wife, and she returned it for a regular pro. Easy! 😂😂😂😂
🎉great comparison
Upgraded from the 12 pro max to the 16 pro max. Same color, white. The only real difference I could notice were the camera module on the 16 was bigger. And now my Otterbox case has a cutout for the camera control. Other than that feels exactly the same.
Mm, today i went to the store and felt the same, I use 12 pm now and was thinking to upgrade
Can you review that mahogany vanilla candle next? Great content! Much appreciated 👏
Pocket portability is exactly why I went with the regular-sized Pro. Zero regrets.
Years ago I did exactly that. I dreaded the bigger phone almost instantly.
very good explanation
Here in Canada the 16 pro start at 1,449$ for 128gb and the 16 pro max 256gb is 1,749$ .in first week of january will be switching from samsung s23ultra to 16pro max .going back to the dark side like my husband is saying

i Have galaxy a14, As u know it's bigger than the iphone 16 pro max.
I'm confused between the 16 pro and the 16 pro max.

Loved your work❤❤❤❤
I have the 14 pro max I love the bigger phones for the bigger battery I need it to last whole day for work and I hate having to charge during the day but I’m not upgrading till the 17 comes out
Thanks! You helped me a lot ❤
The BATTERY alone is why you should upgrade take it from a real day to day one device person this phone is way cooler and last way longer you don’t realize how great that is until you get it
Coming from an iPhone 13 mini, the normal 16 pro still feels „too big“ from time to time😂
Went from the 11 and just upgraded to 16 pro and it felt so small compared to my 11 so two days later switched it for the 16 pro max my regular 11 was perfect size but the 16 pro just felt to small like a se with a big camera forced me to get the max
would the 16 pro get you thru the day till 8pm at least let's say without dying
What is the talk time for the 16 pro max? I ask this question that after speaking for awhile, lets go maximum 2 hours, I see after completing the conversation and hanging up, my battery percentage has dropped and even after searching on google. So you get what I mean? So what have you obtained in just a primary conversation for say 2 hours and search on google for say an 1hour? Video: very well presented and well put together plus, no music in the background which makes it so much pleasant to watch and listen to what you are presenting. Thank you.
Am confused , why have a wallet with your cards on the bk of you phone
great video😊😊
Great great review!!!
Other than the screen size, are the features the same for both?
Great video!
Have both and just this year i should say get the Pro Max, battery is so damn solid on the Max this year. :))

Which one charges faster and which one has longer bettery life ?

Same reason I didn’t get the 16 pro. Battery life is important to me as I’m a heavy user. 16 pro Max
I have a 15 plus and battery life on this device is bonkers. After a day of usage that is 12 hrs, I have 50% battery left. So I recharge on the next morning. Overall I get 8- 10hrs of screen on time with 24 hrs of usage and 30% battery left.
I always put my iPhone 16 pro max in my front pocket with no problem especially when I’m at work

I still run the 12 pro max ,work horse poor guy has been thru construction work and torture still going just broke the screens due to a cheap cover looking into a new phone
is the size of the pro max alot bigger then the Samsung s22 ultra?
I always get the max it fits in my pockets fine .
I came for an iPhone video… i stayed for the cat 😅
What´s the wallpaper for the iphone 16 pro on the thumbnail?
If your problem is battery, you got other problems to solve. Even the battery of the 15 pro which is far worse than the 16 pro was plenty enough.
I can reach the action button easy because I'm left handed 😂😂😂
15 pro max is easy to put into my pocket. Does it make that much difference on the 16 pro max?
I love my 14 pro but I want that log from the 16
Just wait. Trust me the 17 Pro will be worth the wait.

iWent with 15PMX. 16PMX iS too big. iDon't know why they went that route!
Not gonna lie if Apple made a 6.3 phone by the frame I would definitely buy it because the phone won’t be too tall and it won’t be too short . It be that middle phone for the pro and Pro Max.

If not to waste money then either wait for next years phone or get older versions for a cheaper cost !!! simple as that
