I was a teenager when iron mike burst onto the scene. Most fights I watched until then ended in decisions. As great as Larry Holmes was he fought Mike Spinks to a decision twice. Tyson ended most of his fights in the first round. It was incredible seeing that kind of domination, especially for a kid so young. That's why he was so popular. He gave boxing fans what they wanted. Knockouts! If you watch Tysons technique, he moves his body forward when he throws a punch. This gives his punches incredible leverage and momentum. If he connects one solid punch to the head of his opponent it's all over.
This is the best Tyson compilation on the entire Internet - full stop. Period. End of story. Thank you. Finally we can sit the kids down and say ‘Once upon a time...’
