    The Klokovs comment about shrug is awesome. Barbell flies an arc, like for biceps workout with a shrug. Thanks for uploading.

    i agree with the none shrug, i think its more of a rolling back, of the shoulders. i think it helps with moving under the bar in good time so it does not come crashing down on you.

    Pyros Dimas was a massive shrugger... Klokov's credentials are undeniable but perhaps there's more than one method?

      What I understood was that you can still shrug, but remember to bend at the elbow to allow the bar to move. 4:51 he does a shrug too, but his elbows are bent.

      Michael try different methods just keep in mind arms relax,arms relax,if the arms are tight then the bar cant fly. so relaxed arms,flying bar and you will be fine.

      The shrug happens naturally by inertia not by you trying to shrug

      I don’t shrug. But if I watch my video I’m shrugging and my traps are sore

      @@gr8ful4EPdedhed I agree. I don't have enough knowledge of weighlifting despite practicing it, but if you think about the bar flying up, using the hip/thight contact and elbows pointing up, almost automatically you tend to shrug.

    What was he telling us exactly? Is he saying that we should not hit the bar on our thighs deliberately? What about the shrugging?
