Good stuff mate, I tie the bottom hook on first with the uni knot then the same snell knot as it is easier to get the distance between the hooks perfect
Tie the first hook on with a uni then put second hook on with the ‘knotless’ knot. This allows you to more accurately decide on the distance between the two hooks. Tie trace to main line with a surgeons knot eliminating the need for a swivel and allowing a longer trace to be used like a wind on leader.

kitkatyum I do the bottom first as you have said, I use swivels though and tie a bundle of rigs ready to tie on and keep them in small ziplock bags

Tie the snood with a different piece of lighter line, it allows you do adjust the top hook by sliding it for different sized baits.
