My wife and I got on the subject of nutrition. While I'm not 100% carnivore, that does make up the majority of my meals. She is convinced that we all need fruits and vegetables to be healthy. I told her we can get everything we need from meat. She commented that I believe whatever I hear on you tube. So I asked her. "who do you think I listen to"? I don't know but they didn't go to college was her response. So I started to tell her about Dr. Baker, Dr. Chaffee, and others. At that point she just got mad and wanted to change the subject. People don't want to be challenged on long held beliefs.
You can get plenty of good things from fruit and veg... the question is whether those good things are outweighed by the bad things in fruit and veg. The jury is still out...
Don't you know, women are always right. Food is on the same level as religion and politics. Save yourself. You can't help her except thru example. I can't convince my sick mom that her raw vegan diet is killing her. Brainwashed and way too trusting of the so called experts.
My 46 year old daughter has been on keto carnivore for 3 years….mostly meat now. Lost 90 lbs, no longer diabetic no plaque when she goes to the dentist, skin tags fell off , feels awesome and looks so healthy.

Yeah, and the plant-based narrarive helps with this process : so many ex-vegans talk about brain fog and how it clears up when they start eating high fat animal products. Many describe it as "coming back to life".
Yep. "Breakfast is the most important meal of the day": everybody knows that, right? I heard it from doctors as well. Too bad it was an advertisement for Kellogg in the late 1800s that somehow has become generally accepted medical knowledge/advice.

It is when it hit me that the so called healthy diet advice that had failed me for decades was failing him. That was about 14 years ago.

I remembered treating a patient for diabetic neuropathy while I was a resident. Her A1c was always pretty high. I was shocked that she got her A1c to below 5. She did something different but I didn’t ask what she did. Wish I did. I was so shocked that I was literally speechless.

Omg . There’s so many people that post meals on social media strictly for shock value and the foods are some of the most atrocious combinations of sugar and bread and cheez wiz and snack foods imaginable and they aren’t getting any warnings lmao But eggs… 😂
This was a great interview. I especially liked the part (around the 15 minute mark ) where Zack mentioned to his doctor how he eats, (not stressing carnivore) just regular reccomendations.. and the doctor said, great, your blood work is perfect. My doctor, after losing 20lbs from previous visit, sat up straight in his chair and his glasses steamed up when I said I was doing (KETO at the time) and the conversation went down hill from there! The "20" lb. loss was quickly forgotten as the conversation shifted! I don't talk "eating style anymore" with him, have gone about 90% carnivore since then, lost more weight and now he questions my BEER drinking when I come in each time! I tell him I knocked 2 back in the parking lot before I came in because of the "white coat" syndrome I experience in his office! The converstion doesn't last long then! Thanks Doctor B.
Some doctors should not be doctors! I had 2 that were terrible my last doctor was amazing and helped a ton and understood me. She left for family reasons now I am worried about meeting the new doctor ! I pray he isn't a pill pusher! I already have to take one cancer med I don't want anything else.
This will sound ironic coming from an engineer who is all about data and numbers, but if I have less knee joint aches, can do more exercise reps, sleep even better than I used to, know other people have normal blood work, I don't personally see the need to also get tested to know for sure what carnivore is doing to me. That is the knock I get from my family at just two months in on this diet so far. I mean what are the odds that this is bad for me given the positives so far? Unlike a Va XX I'm quite certain this is safe and effective.
I was whole food vegan for 5 years was doing it perfect, Dr had no concerns, blood work was great. But I had to take many supplements, I had brain fog, mental difficulty concentrating, body pain, gained 40lbs, was depressed, had anxiety. I put all of it to my weight gain and tiredness of having three kids, and pain due to my weight. My husband was suffering bad with depression and anxiety that I had to dig deep into the ex vegan information and found this was actually all common side effects. We decided for our health we need to add meat back in and that first week our depression and anxiety is 1000 times better. My body pain is almost gone, I have energy to move. And just within 6 months. JANUARY I started animal based (meat, fruit, honey, eggs, fish, cheese, dairy) I have loved it and have lost 7 lbs already without exercise I can focus very well, enjoy my meals and depression and anxiety is back to my pre vegan days. I am a firm believer we need meat and real foods in our diet ( I do still add some vegetables many fruit are classed as veg and incorporate potatos and rice as these don't bother me ) I cut all bread and wheat carbs I talk alot about this and how it changed my kids behavior and brain use in just a few weeks on our pike homestead channel but if your vegan and making excuses for how you feel I highly push you should reflect on your diet
Dr Eckberg had a good vid on his ch comparing Walk VS Running. His conclusion is Walking is better because it doesnt increase cortisol. He is a former Decathlon Olympian. He recommends Keto but, has vids on carnviore. He just did a vid on "Eating 100 tablespoons of butter with eggs for 10 days" and shows his blood test before and after. his blood work stayed the same.
There was more to it than just the cortisol thing. During an easy walk you are utilizing fat for energy very efficiently, while if you run intensely your body requires quick energy supply from glucose in much less efficient way even via gluconeogenesis from muscles. It is not possible to grow muscles in that way. That was really very good educational video.
@@nataliajimenez1870 He was talking about long intense running as being not that healthy. That was, what I was referring to. Of course he recommended HIIT.
I'm 6'2" 69 yrs old 260 lbs down from 300+ strict carnivore in my 4th month. Im Always amazed at the quantity of meat some guys eat. The absolute max I can eat in a day is 2 lbs........barely. We'll see when bicycle season starts again. If my appetite increases. I normally ride 15-20 miles 4-5 days a week.
A popular Vegan YTer moved his family to a jungle in Costa Rica. The teeth of his 2 vegan children were so brittle, they were basically useless. He reluctantly added meat, and saw a dramatic improvement. The whole family is now carnivore. ❤️🍀
Cutting out the carbs lowered my weight, increased my mobility and reduced body pain, lowered the amount of asthma medicine I need. Meat is species appropriate.
of course he's not deterred by what people are saying, he sees the results and thats all that matters. People can say you're wrong all they want while they fail to get his results
This was great! Zack seems pretty cool, down to earth! Eating meat based also makes your brain work like its supposed to, you can't be brainwashed! Good for him!
My granddaughter loves stack both venison and beef . Here dad started giving it to her when she started teething. Love how Zacks eyes lit up when his son was mentioned
Just started carnivore last week, and I already need a new hole in my belt. I'm gonna try very strict carnivore over January and see how I feel. Both my girlfriend and I already feel better, and we get to eat steak and eggs everyday!
So good! Do the research on some possible side effects for people who are not meat adapted. Dr. Baker of course Steak and Butter gal on UA-cam. All the best! You'll never regret the results. Happy New Year!
San Antonio Texas needs help with Revero and hopefully Dr. Shawn Baker, Dr. Chaffee, and Dr. Ken Berry can coach San Antonio doctors on Carnivore/ Keto so more patients are eating healthier! Kids too!
Wait, a minute... Why the heck this happens whenever I think of something "uncommon" or if something doesn't add up then I came upon a conclusion, it just happens that uncommon thing is actually real? This started when I was in highschool back then, I was like no, our tongue doesn't work like that! Then 10 years later I was right! Also, I was also right about eating fish eggs, it made my brain respond faster when I was growing up. I also had a classmate back then, his lunch and dinner was always: meat based. I myself even had trouble with my vision back then even when I was told to eat carrots, but my pediatrician recommended me to eat more eggs, specifically duck eggs.(this was in grade school)
My very balanced & healthy carnivore hormones are working overtime right now. These two hunks are amazing intellectually and physically. Testosterone at its finest!! 💪🏼 🥰
Rayne Drop, I've noticed the same phenomenon. I believe it's evolutionary. Picking the partner that can kill the Saber Tooth Tiger and/ or cook it up. :)
My nails have been growing much faster and stronger since starting ketovore 3 months ago. I was also very bad and biting/picking my nails. That has basically come to a complete stop.
@@jmmc59375 I'm not even sure. I didn't notice it until I looked at my nails one day and realized they all looked like real fingernails, lol. I'm curious myself as to why I've stopped doing it
Warnings by the internet? These social media act like they are know-it-alls. It's funny how men feel scrawny and women feel chubby when they look perfectly fine.
16:00 That salmon story reminds me that I saw a "health" documentary the other day and an older guy wraps a sausage in bread and hands it to the child and then asks "Is that sausage good?" in a sarcastic way. I thought at the time that nobody ever asks how the bread is?
@@dort5436 I raised my own chickens (for eggs) when I lived in AZ and Paso Robles, CA. I had 6 to 8 girls that were free range, ate bugs, worms, lizards, baby mice and the bit of feed I gave them was organic non-gmo. I fermented it for them and they loved it. Best eggs ever! I do miss those nuggets of nutrition. I buy mine now at the farmers market. The HOA where I live now, says no chickens😥
You know a person is delusional when they have no problem to threaten to kill or harm a human but take offense to having an animal, purposed for consumption, killed and consumed. When animal life, which has value, is placed over human life, which is invaluable, things are flipped upside down.
So true, got hooked on working at 12 years old. I have worked out off and on all my life. Now at 67 working out hard again the last 2 years. Keto diet going carnivore this year. 2 days in. I am about 12% body fat right now.
I think that Zack should tell his doctor about his diet simply for the fact that his doctor will believe that the recommendations work and will continue to recommend it to other patients. "This other patient that I have follows the recommendations and his blood work is perfect."
I've now seen and read about so many people who have done amazing on this diet, probably a hundred so far. They also look absolutely amazing and very healthy. And then some people in the comments go "but, but, but... veggies and fruit" or some argument about life expectancy on every single video/post. I've literally never seen anyone do THIS good on any diet. Vegans don't have these results and definitely not on this scale. Sorry guys but the results speak for themselves. How big of a case study do you need to question "science" from 50 years ago which is known to be influenced by the food and healthcare/pharmaceutical industry for the wrong reasons?
Mayor Adams imposed a vegan Friday in the public schools, nobody is trying to cut back on the garbage, granola bars, smacks, lowfat sweetened milk, and fruit juices. It's crazy!
Pastured eggs are a little better than non-pastured, but they are still from chickens which are fed grains. Chickens will eat plants like clover, but the clover doesn't grow for half of the year. Even when they have fresh clover they still need protein from bugs, which they will get from dung flies, but again, seasonally. A non-grain egg can only come from chickens who are full time free range, and have enough forage diversity from plants and bugs to sustain egg development. We free range our chickens, but still have to feed them grains, especially in the winter. In the spring and summer there is plenty of forage, but we only back off of the feed rather than stopping altogether. The reason is to get more eggs from fewer chickens. Eggs do store long term if not washed and are stored at the right temperature. We tried it for six months and found the eggs to be just fine. If you truly free range and don't feed grains, you have to save your eggs for the winter. That can be a lot of eggs. I don't know how the big producers "pasture" their chickens in the winter.
While watching this video, news on in the background at my home announced the alleged murderer of 4 Idaho college students is strict vegan (wouldn’t even cook from pans that had previously cooked meat). Oh my! Prayers for the families of these beautiful young people as they seek peace and try to move forward.
The trouble seems to be ... That with social media people are encouraged to express opinions. Opinions are fine when it comes to politics or religion, but nutrition advice as well as medical advice should be purely research based - not opinion. And? As far as the questions at the doctor's office... I'm asked regularly "Do you eat a healthy low fat diet?". I did reply "No, there's no such thing".
Good morning Dr . I live in Seattle. Do you ever see any patients any more? Just started a carnivore. I am 71 years old and looking forward to feeling better.
Dr Baker doesn’t read the comments. His website features a list of Drs who understand the carnivore way of eating. Look in the description area under the video’s title. ❤️🍀
LOL ! Talk about Negative comments - my good guy friend says “ you are gonna DIE of Cancer eating all that meat ! You are Insane!” Note he is 10 yrs younger than My 75 yr old self- and He is diabetic, an amputee, heart disease, dozen meds a day - and I take One , and I feel Great! Plus its Deer Season ! 🎉👍🏼 SMDH -
BTW - yes I Hunt & eat venison a LOT - am sorta dirty keto - aiming for full carnivore - and my shoulders no longer hurt ! No joint troubles! It is REAL!
Imagine, a high meat and fat diet isn't really unhealthy! I know that from my own 39 years of experience. Wish I could reach 230 pounds or more but it is impossible on the high fat/meat diet I have been on. I might be the last person who does not use or care about Twitter though.
I suck up a 200g baggie of fresh cream almost every day. Sometimes I freeze it first and scrape it with a spoon. Love it! 😄 (No sugar. Pure cream. Sometimes mixed with sour cream)
I make a ganache: dark chocolate or unsweetened cocoa (with very minimal sugar or sweetener) melted with butter and pure cream. Add vanilla. Stick in the freezer for an hour. Eat it like it’s chocolate ice cream.
Fat is A LOOOOT better for mind and body, but high fat diet just cannot be mixed with processed foods, carbs, sugar, alcohol. Get fat adapted, eliminate sugar and crap, then it’s the best diet every, including cardiovascular health If u know u are gonna cheat on carbs, hsve ACV on empty stomach and also steamed pack choy ( almost zero antinutrients, and helps reduce spike of insuline) Also, whenever you do cheat, it’s important you exercise full body the next two days and keep your fat intake low and then gradually re-introduce it. Hny and Ciao ;) Ps : dry Prosecco is the drink of choice if u have to ( how can u not these festive days ?!?)
My homage to the holiday season is small amounts of brandy (hard liquor is usually zero sugar, too) mixed into a dark chocolate ganache. And I still manage keto-level very low carb. Hello festive meat dishes! 😋
Brandy? I leave that to other essential unavoidable/forced yearly celebrations ( my birthday + 1or 2 max other) Yh, all distilled dry spirits are good, cause of sugar being totally fermented….but still…!! …the alcohol ( >>> = fructose) Happy new year to all :)
Berberine ? Mhhh… Have to look into it, never heard it before, sounds like a Dr Berg, kind of thing LOL I’d rather do ACV as it’s tried and tested … and wld stick to that rather than do like some of my “keto” friends ( so they think “keto” ! ) that just can’t let go certain dryly carbs or vegetables, or even daily wine, and try to make up for this by doing things that I think are detrimental to our body/system, such as hacking the ketones production with MCT oil, or similar stuff like that. I mean, I would use this method sporadically, only bought MCT oil once and found it way too expensive to buy it regularly., just because I felt that it’s something you shouldn’t use as a remedy, but not as a daily hack, can’t be too good for the body to confuse inputs in such a manner This is also in view of the fact that recently I sort of was forced due to tighter financial situation to slightly decrease the level of quality of food from fresh seafood or fully grassfed “Farmers market to partially grass fed and best-possible-quality available from supermarkets ( wild caught frozen fish ) and same for eggs. Lucky for me I didn’t notice any differences at all so far, but who knows what could happen internally or in the long term, so I’d rather not mess about with things too much. I’m also lucky I can play tennis at high-level every day so that surely helps towards things. Sorry for going on and on and on and on about things, but sometimes it’s needed. I haven’t commented on UA-cam for a long time … kind of left out commenting on purpose tbh, does my head in! Ciao and HNY
I've had no problems with pork belly and sugar free bacon and some dairy and I've completely reversed Rheumatoid arthritis got off biologic medication and my inflammation markers are now lower than they were on the meds! Yes, butter is dairy and that gets confusing when carnivores say "no dairy" but eat loads of butter! I avoid Milk and dairy foods with lactose and milk proteins but good quality cheese is OK for me as the enzymes that turn it into cheese eat the lactose, and butter is made from cream so already has very minimal, if any lactose and whey protein. With any uncertainty I'd say, try it and see, if you're not getting results, cut it out.
No idea why he would think those of us feeding our children carnivore are psychos. If it's good for us, it's good for our children. It's the proper human diet and I'd prefer set them up with the knowledge and tools for proper health.
Reminds me of a drunken disheveled Dan Ackroyd in "Trading Places" gnawing on a giant fish (with the head on) that was sticking out of his coat on the bus! haha
Haven't most of the nomadic tribal cultures throughout the world basically survived in incredible variation of climate doing this whenever they have the chance? Butter, Fat & meat MUST have pretty much all the nutrition people UNDER intense physical survival pressure need.
Alway had a stick of butter on the kitchen counter. I have found many little finger prints run through the butter over the years. Children love butter or maybe crave it. Funny I made my comment before you spoke about your child loving butter.
In my area, 60 count box of eggs is $27.00. My egg consumption has gone down because of the cost. Today, I bought several steaks at $4 89/pound 2 5 pounds.
Had some boiled brussel sprouts yesterday with my venison. And kind of regretting it today… I like zero bloating and zero farts😆luckily it’s just minimal. Vegetables seeming more and more pointless
Good point, walking around eating an ice cream cone, no one cares. Walk around eating a beautiful fillet of salmon , everyone freaks tf out. Lord we are disconnected. Actually! Let’s say the change is beginning!?
From something that Zach said, it sounds like there is a 'tipping' point when eating carnivore...the program can be hard/brutal until you reach a certain point and then I'm wondering what changes. Can anyone address that? How long on carnivore before a positive change?
Ive been a multi gym owner since the 1970s. Am also 6 " 5 " and was an ovo lacto vegeterian most of my adult life. No issues but at 72 decided to go carnivore and without lifestyle changes, hav lost net 8kgs and gained akg or two of muscle. Average 5 hit full body sessions per ft night. The only neg is I love running about 5ks (Perth beaches are heaven on earth ) but Ive found my aerobic capacity has reduced. On ovo lacto, I got my hr down to 28 bpm and upto 180 doing 20 minutes of pranic breathing first thing. I just do 20 sec light running and 20 sec recovery ata pace which used to last for 5 and upto 10ks. I wonder if increasing anaerobic/ carnivore diminishes aerobic. Woukd love to know.
It's probably about re-adapting. Your body is going for it's habitual energy and dopamine hits during running and coming up short and sputtering out. Maybe try retraining yourself because you have to fat adapt and if your body tries to devour carbs, it needs to learn to do the same with fat. I'm just guessing!
@@climbingcasually Thanks. Im guessing also. Been the same for about a couple of months. I was hoping this situation would be well understood biologically. Cheers..
Dr. Paul Mason, famous carnivore diet advocate sports doctor from Australia, says it might take up to 6 months for your body to adapt to ketones as source of energy, but that once it's adapted there'll be no difference in performance.
@@InSanctaSanctorum Thanks. I missed that one. My theory is that the " cruising mix" of oxygen and glycogen becomes far less effective as part of a holistic response to what is an emergency source of energy..ie aerobic., which also reduces the free radical cell damage. Like inflamation linked carbs, I suspect this is another response to a temporary emergency process. O2 plus fat..for aerobic activity? No doubt, but the free radical activity? I wonder...
If it's an animal and it's what you tolerate, eat. I can't eat only beef, I have to choke down ground beef cause I hate it but it's cheap. Costco ground pork is like $3/lb! Win win.
I've heard that the best are the ruminates (beef, lamb) but pork is still good. I tend to go heavy on beef and eat pork about once a week for variety. But the best plan is one that works for you!
How about we take care of the earth? Everyone has access to historical research which demonstrates that modern farming practices are toxic. Eating ruminants is part of the cycle of life; a completely natural harmonious process. If we returned to our roots, and away from our toxic, out of balance, late stage capitalism fueled lifestyles, problems such as anxiety, depression, autoimmune and metabolic diseases would cease to exist. 🙏 May all brings be filled with happiness, joy, and peace! May you all be safe! Happy New Year!

Weston A Price, Gaps, Dr Bill Schindlers way, Keto, Carnivore, low carb high fat, ketovore, LOW oxalate... they all one one thing in common... ANIMAL BASED... BOOM. They are also a non inflammatory diet .....
Lots of crazy out there! Feel so much better carnivore, had IBD, now don't. sleeping better, PMS gone, cramping gone, craving sweets gone, wanting alcohol gone. Get the NYC mayor out people. Most Democrat states are avidly working towards getting people to reduce or eliminate meat the agenda is for 2030. In Colorado they want meat consumption down to 15% by 2030. We can avoid it as much as possible in the political arena, but they'll try to tax it and charge more for insurance etc.

Unlike a Va XX I'm quite certain this is safe and effective.
Amen 🙏🏾
I am a firm believer we need meat and real foods in our diet ( I do still add some vegetables many fruit are classed as veg and incorporate potatos and rice as these don't bother me ) I cut all bread and wheat carbs
I talk alot about this and how it changed my kids behavior and brain use in just a few weeks on our pike homestead channel but if your vegan and making excuses for how you feel I highly push you should reflect on your diet
I love how Zach is down to earth, low key and calm.
Appreciate you, Karen. 🙏🏻

Right, it has been hijacked by the food industry with comnivance of big pharmas. They want you sick, or no big profits
I saw that video! Excellent information!
@@neilnewinger3059 He recommends the walking for weight loss but he recommends HIIT for heart health and muscle building
@@nataliajimenez1870 He was talking about long intense running as being not that healthy. That was, what I was referring to. Of course he recommended HIIT.

Well, Mayor Adams of NYC is pushing meatless Mondays on public school children. Growing children need a nutrient dense, daily diet.
A popular Vegan YTer moved his family to a jungle in Costa Rica.
The teeth of his 2 vegan children were so brittle, they were basically useless. He reluctantly added meat, and saw a dramatic improvement.
The whole family is now carnivore.

Ribeye and butter can't go wrong. 👍

If strict carnivore doesn't work out for you, that is fine. Some people need some whole , unprocessed carbs once in a while, especially women.
How’s it going?
Shawn mentioned houston as one of the cities that stands out as far as obesity goes. As a Houston resident, and ER nurse, I can confirm this, yes lol

Yeah, but the flying monkey vegans who visit channels like this to throw feces at keto or carnivore peeps aren't generally 15-year old girls.
My nails have been growing much faster and stronger since starting ketovore 3 months ago. I was also very bad and biting/picking my nails. That has basically come to a complete stop.
I wonder why that stopped? Genuinely curious as I struggle with that too
I tend to start biting my nails when I eat more carbs or junk too!

this year. 2 days in. I am about 12% body fat right now.
I think that Zack should tell his doctor about his diet simply for the fact that his doctor will believe that the recommendations work and will continue to recommend it to other patients. "This other patient that I have follows the recommendations and his blood work is perfect."
Your right but they are required to standard of care which has a lot of money behind it. Everyone is getting sicker but the insurance pays.
the AHA now acknowledges keto as a healthy diet somewhere deep in their guidelines. They are not open and public about it tho
Great interview. Thanks for sharing
Great interview. 😊
Thank you
Mayor Adams imposed a vegan Friday in the public schools, nobody is trying to cut back on the garbage, granola bars, smacks, lowfat sweetened milk, and fruit juices. It's crazy!
New York is lost. The loons run the asylum
Bit of a stretch to blame veganism for this. There's plenty of mentally ill meat eaters too.
Well, you know what they say - "Opinions are like a$$holes. Everyone has one, and most of them are full of sh1t! 🤣🤣🤣

I am eating mostly meat 🥓🍖 just need to get rid of ice cream
Just make some from scratch, made directly with cheese and milk. Without the sugar & non-dairy creamer ofcourse.
I suck up a 200g baggie of fresh cream almost every day. Sometimes I freeze it first and scrape it with a spoon. Love it! 😄 (No sugar. Pure cream. Sometimes mixed with sour cream)
cream and a few really ripe strawberries whipped together and frozen. three medium sized strawberries are a bit less than 3 carbs.
Thank you for your good ideas 💕💕
I make a ganache: dark chocolate or unsweetened cocoa (with very minimal sugar or sweetener) melted with butter and pure cream. Add vanilla. Stick in the freezer for an hour. Eat it like it’s chocolate ice cream.
Fat is A LOOOOT better for mind and body, but high fat diet just cannot be mixed with processed foods, carbs, sugar, alcohol.
Get fat adapted, eliminate sugar and crap, then it’s the best diet every, including cardiovascular health
If u know u are gonna cheat on carbs, hsve ACV on empty stomach and also steamed pack choy ( almost zero antinutrients, and helps reduce spike of insuline)
Also, whenever you do cheat, it’s important you exercise full body the next two days and keep your fat intake low and then gradually re-introduce it.
Hny and Ciao ;)
Ps : dry Prosecco is the drink of choice if u have to ( how can u not these festive days ?!?)
My homage to the holiday season is small amounts of brandy (hard liquor is usually zero sugar, too) mixed into a dark chocolate ganache. And I still manage keto-level very low carb. Hello festive meat dishes! 😋
👍 yes ACV! I allays forget to take it. I tried berberine but prefer acv!
Brandy? I leave that to other essential unavoidable/forced yearly celebrations ( my birthday + 1or 2 max other)
Yh, all distilled dry spirits are good, cause of sugar being totally fermented….but still…!! …the alcohol ( >>> = fructose)
Happy new year to all :)
Berberine ? Mhhh… Have to look into it, never heard it before, sounds like a Dr Berg, kind of thing LOL
I’d rather do ACV as it’s tried and tested … and wld stick to that rather than do like some of my “keto” friends ( so they think “keto” ! ) that just can’t let go certain dryly carbs or vegetables, or even daily wine, and try to make up for this by doing things that I think are detrimental to our body/system, such as hacking the ketones production with MCT oil, or similar stuff like that.
I mean, I would use this method sporadically, only bought MCT oil once and found it way too expensive to buy it regularly., just because I felt that it’s something you shouldn’t use as a remedy, but not as a daily hack, can’t be too good for the body to confuse inputs in such a manner
This is also in view of the fact that recently I sort of was forced due to tighter financial situation to slightly decrease the level of quality of food from fresh seafood or fully grassfed “Farmers market to partially grass fed and best-possible-quality available from supermarkets ( wild caught frozen fish ) and same for eggs.

Is pork inflammatory like some people say? Should we stop eating dairy, milk, cheese? Is butter considered dairy?

Cheers..

@@InSanctaSanctorum Thanks. I missed that one.
My theory is that the " cruising mix" of oxygen and glycogen becomes far less effective as part of a holistic response to what is an emergency source of energy..ie aerobic., which also reduces the free radical cell damage. O2 plus fat..for aerobic activity? No doubt, but the free radical activity? I wonder...

I don't eat much beef, although I love it too, but I eat quite a bit of pork. Is this also considered a healthy meat to eat ?
You’re just not watching the right farms, not all modern farms are that way.
Exactly livestock is the natural farming, plant monocropping destroys the earth. Livestock replenishes soil, plants deplete and destroy soil.
