How old are you? Serious question btw. and what do you define as a risk? Person with established/starting business with good potential which they believe in - they could do that but drop out of school just cause youre LAZY TO KEEP school and business at the same time? Nah man. If you are e.g. in 2nd year of 4 years of highschool and youre making 100 000$ a year with POTENTIAL TO SCALE, yes, Id say you can drop out cause youve already built something "big" at early age and there is a big chance for you to replicate. But if youre making a few thousand bucks a month and you wanna give up your safety net, your education, your degree or something - youre a serious egoistic naive young dumbass LOL.
If youre able to build a successful business - It takes THOUSANDS OF HOURS of work. Maybe you will make a bank after investing 3000-5000 hours of pure grind time into your business. IS IT REALLY THAT HARD TO ATTEND SCHOOL AT 35 HOURS A WEEK (avg.) AT MOST and still keep doing literally x2 / x3 more time investment into your business. Do you really need to succeed in something "unsure" when you can study, get a degreee, build your discipline even more AND BE SUCCESFUL ON TOP OF THAT. I dont care about degree, I care about results - yes, but at the same time, if you can use 1-2 years to finish the degree and keep building the business paralelly then I DONT GET IT WHY WOULD YOU DROP OUT. WHY WOULD YOU RISK YOUR WHOLE LIFE THROWN AWAY JUST CAUSE YOU BELIEVE IN A BUSINESS THAT CAN FAIL IN 1-5 YEARS OR IN 3 MONTHS after you f-up something and sales drop to 0. UNDERSTAND YOU NAIVE YOUNG EGOISTIC BOYS - YOURE NOT HAMZA. HES 1/100000(0) and his approach IS so IRRESPONSIBLE towards you IT MAKES MY FUCKING STOMACH HURT- YOU CAN BE SUCCESFUL NOW BUT WITHOUT A DEGREE YOU MIGHT NOT BE SUCCESFUL IN 15-20 YEARS WHEN INTERNET CHANGES AND YOURE STILL 40 YO. HAVE 25 YEARS TO WORK BEFORE RETIREMENT. DEGREE (EVEN BC.) GIVES YOU INSANE SOCIAL PROOF - IF YOU HAVE THAT dumb thing in front of your name - YOU WILL LOOK LIKE A PROFESSIONAL EVEN IF YOU HAVE DEGREE IN DIFFERENT FIELD THAN YOURE NOW DOING BUSINESS IN. Take care and dont think building a business is EASIER THAN WORKING 40HR WORK JOB LOL !!!!!!!!!!!!!! ITS 10X HARDED ON YOUR MENTAL HEALTH, TIME, FAMILY, STRESS, BELIEFT, EVERYTHING. I HAVE WHEN I SEE FKING KIDS THINKING YEAH MAN EARLY LIFE EZ RISK LOL! NO DUDE YOU HAVE TO BE A 10% of people to know what youre doing . MOST PEOPLE ARE FOLLOWERS NOT LEADERS. You have to do everything by yourself and honestly for most people I dont think they can do it. BE CAREFUL. FINISH HIGHSCHOOL OBVIOUSLY. IF YOU DROP OUT OF THAT - YORE A FUCKING DEGENERATE. And if youre at universtiy - youre in the 1st year... doing well in business, seeing future - go for it, you should be good. BUT IF YOURE IN 3RD YEARS OR AT SECOND HALF OF 2ND YEAR - DO YOU THINK ITS EASIER TO BUILD A BUSINESS OR TO FINISH THE SCHOOL? TAKE RESPONSIBILITY WITH YOUR ACTIONS AND DONT BE A DUMBASS THANK YOU. GOOD LUCK

    • @MySelfImprovementJourney
      @MySelfImprovementJourney 2 роки тому +10

@@temokun7268 Just get out there more. Do some random stuff you’ll remember like just starting conversations with random people, complement them.
Better people’s days with small gestures like randomly smiling at them or saying you like their haircut or smtn. Other’s are too shy or think to much about what will others thihnk about them for being so Not-Normal.
Any invitation to go anywhere, go for it. Friend got a new hobby? Try it out with him
Random stuff, just any opportunity that comes up, take it. At most, at 15, the only thing “at risk” is your image, and I mean, how many of the people you see in your day to day will be with you for the rest of your life. You’ll eventually move out and nobody will remember nobody

And risks make life worth living because they promise a chance at a life better than the one we currently have. The hope that there’s something better than this drives us to take the risk and see it through. It’s hopeful, it’s beautiful, and it gives us just a little more reason to keep on going.

"Nothing great comes without a risk"
What's the #1 advice you hear old people telling youngsters? What's the 1 advice that's so popular that its become cliched? "Live life to the fullest" "Take more chances" "Do more things". None of these things can be done without taking risk in life.
A risk free life is a boring fucking life man I'll tell you that. I strived to live a stress free, risk free life since I was a kid, and I got it. I lived my entire college life just getting drunk and getting high all the time. And it was the most unfulfilling time of my life.
And I swear to god, the day since I decided to start a UA-cam channel, and put myself out there, with all my insecurities, with all my shortcomings.. every day that I've worked towards this goal since that day has been a 100x more fulfilling than anything I'd ever done in my life.

Don't listen to what modern society tells you "oh by 40 you will have kids and you'll have a 9-5 you'll hate". Hamza is right, people should take risks when they’re younger because they don’t have much to lose. But you have to understand, whatever it is that you are trying to do or take a risk for, you better go a 110% into it, because if you don’t then the fall would be that much more severe and time is wasted too. I mean if you fail but you went 110% then you have nothing to regret or to ashamed of, just take that failure as lesson and try again. The reason why Hamza is where he is because he went 150% into his YT career, no slacking, procrastinating, fear, or any limiting beliefs or any Bs. Just hard work, discipline, sacrifice and a positive mindset. Whatever you do in life your, you gotta do it properly or don’t do it at all, because at the end of the you won’t ever get back the time you lost. If you failed when you tried your best it is a lesson, if you fail because you didn’t try is a waste of time. You have to be honest with yourself if you are willing to go 110% into the risk you are about to take or not. Maybe I’m wrong, but what do you guys think?

I agree, but it can be unrealistic to want to go 110% right from the beginning, because the familiarity isn't there. If you're just not used to doing something, it might be difficult to start investing 3-8h or more into it daily. Like Hamza said, "discomfort needs to be progressively overloaded."
Otherwise you might get stresset out and paralyzed before you even start.

tbh life is boring without taking risks. I quickly realized I liked the feeling I got after taking even a small risk whether it was worth it or not. Asking your crush out, jumping over a little pool or investing are all different risks many people took and are taking. But taking a risk is a way of learning in life. If you fail,it's the hard way to learn but you still learn and take something from that.

I agree 100% i can relate with him pretty well abt the mom making u not take risks and be safe i dont blame my mom she wants the best for me but by taking risks even if u fail if u learn from those failures u learn and rise up and grow even stronger to take that risk again and crush it and succeed failure is the only way to success not taking risks and not losing will always have y at the same lvl u will never learn and u will never rise why not take a risk life is boring without risks

I'd say that me taking a risk already is learning programming, Java. I'm only starting out, but i have promised myself to make it happen. I think you might too.
Ideally, find a friend who learns the same stuff as well. To ease your search, i'd suggest start your learning way in codecademy.
Plus, when you are a programmer with even a few years you have a) top 5% pay, b) a lot of exit opportunities, one being starting a startup.

Yo you younger guys to chill the hell out. Do you know how many people party there lives away in their twenties and don't start until they're 30? A lot. Muscle mass doesn't even peak naturally until age 30. So even if you started working on your body for 3-5 years starting at age 25-27, you're really only going to see the peak effectiveness of that by the time you're 30.
Do you know the average age of entrepreneurial success? FOURTY TWO years of age. Do you know the average age of a man who is married and has their first child? THIRTY THREE. Chiiiiiill, relax and take a deep breath

I had the same kind of mom... she sqw too much risk. Having lost most of our old life when young (family divorce, lose house, go to shitty scholl, the typical story) my mom was on conservation mode. She would keep my brother and i in line... but the long term effects meant that my outgoing, adventurous and balanced risk-taking behaviour was eventually programmed out of me (took about 15 years, but it worked).
Now at 30, i realised that this is what has held me back. I'm not that young anymore, but imma treat it like a mimdset - I'm essentially where I'd be at 20, so imma take risks and chances, start a new career at 0 and work to where i wanna be - that way in 10 years time I'll be way, way happier than if i had just reserved myself to being safe.
"Being safe" is what led me here today... and i am NOT safe, nor happy. Time to take risks and work towards what i want and where i want to be.

I'm *actually* going to do this. I've been studying to get into medicine at my uni. Because of my ethnicity, it's practically guaranteed admission. It would be around 5 years from there and I'd be a doctor with a high(ish) pay and stable life for as long as I live. There's status with being a doctor too. It's not a passion of mine though. As ungrateful as I may sound, I plan to pursue music. I've been playing guitar for ~3 years now and I've already had my first studio recording done as well as having been offered to play in some respectable gigs (fringe festival for anyone that wants to know). I'm passionate about music, I love the spotlight (because what guitarist doesn't) and I'm motivated to get it done even if it costs my families approval/support. I'm fucking ready for it man, and as scary as it is trying to make it in the music industry, I'm prepared to work for this. Probably around at least 7 years before I see any real progression in my career but I'll tell you what, I'd do it for free because it's what I truly love. I'm young (18), well educated, reasonable social/networking skills, I've only ever gotten high twice (didn't enjoy haha), never drunk, never used drugs, never hooked up (hey not judging but I'm just saying I've got a pretty good setup), I've had some real experiences in my life such as a breakup, also lost my mum when I was 13 (I mean to say I've experience with real pain and trauma in life/I'll have something to write about), I've got some real talent in what I do (was basically a popular solo in highschool for my playing ability alone even though I hardly showed what I could really do - again, not trying to wank here I'm just making the point), I've recently discovered an ability to write my own material which most people I've shown have remarker at (even though it's very niche), I'm passionate about what I do, I've discovered this at a young age which not many people are lucky enough for. I've got a great set up. I'm ready to pursue this dream of making it in the industry man. I know I can do it. Follow your dreams or live a life of regret.

I want to make an impact on my life with self development, entrepreneurship, read books and gym i have been consistent for 6 months and haven't looked back. I have noticed a change in my confidence and the way people view me. however as of now im struggling with my daily thoughts, i struggle to have a purpose or a why, discipline is important but i feel like that won't be enough to push me further. Its one of the most difficult things of my day looking for a reason of the why, when I'm burnet out with school and my own self development journey that gets repetitive. I'm not giving up tho, i will find a way.💪
