I'm asking for consideration

- Do you think consideration should always be given? Will their clearing operations be effective if everyone is given warnings instead of tickets?
The reason for clearing the road is to reduce the congestion and accidents caused by illegally parked vehicles.
I’m sure everyone has felt the frustration of needing to be somewhere, but you’re stuck in traffic and cannot go around because multiple lanes have been obstructed by parked vehicles. -
Can't imagine how MMDA has the strength and patience to deal with stupid people like these on a daily basis. Really a tough job.
that man talking to that dumb violator is the most patient man I have ever witness...he is truly such a remarkable gentleman....
Exactly. Yet most people would say that he is inconsiderate and rude.
Kudos to Sir Nebrija for maintaining his patience and professionalism. Explain the law to the stubbornly disobedient person is quite a feat. Kundi sinungaling, requesting for consideration that is unacceptable. Law cannot be compromised.
Tough for MMDA dealing with people with low IQ.
Not low IQ just playing stupid, hahaha!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 mga pilipino kasi e. Andaming low IQ.
Lucky for him you gave a low IQ. In my opinion, this guy has no IQ @ all. 🤣
totally, these people think then can argue their way even doing wrong. so civilized
The dog should be given a ticket. For being Too cute 😅
His owner is the one who asked to put him on camera haha. Maybe he saw me looking at him.
"That's a lot of money spent on vehicles, but not a lot of money spent on parkings" probably my favorite quote from the video 🤣🤣
Illegally parked vehicles should be at least 10,000 fine. If you can afford a vehicle, you can afford 10,000 fine.
Exactly 🎯
my issue with this would be the likelihood for corruption.
True
Sana talaga taasan!!!!
@@lok1_m674 nope 👎 until you try you’ll never know
The Barangay should tell their people/residents to follow the signs placed by the government. Call for a meeting to inform them, and not make it too late for them. So many videos are out already as to what the MMDA and the like are doing right now. Thank you Gadget Addict :D
I think barangays are generally useless and should be abolished instead
@@rysupastar718 That's true that having a higher standard and requirement for barangay candidacy would be great but I just don't know how plausible that is given the current system we have right now. Also, if I am not mistaken 1st world countries doesn't have the barangay system and they have far of better town than we have.
Can't the residents read the signs? Do they need translators?
Those violators have votes for them for incoming election that's why
The Barangay officials are the first one who breaks the law! How can encourage the people in their barangay!
I'll repeat, MMDA should be given the right to add penalty for anyone delaying their operations by arguing. Make it a Php500.00 minimum per minute. Then these people can argue as long as they want. At least they're paying for it.
Thank you MMDA for keeping our road clean and safe.
Hopefully the Barangays will also try their best to maintain the clearing 🤞
Interaction with the first guy felt like talking to a wall.
Honestly I'm not even sure why he presented himself to enforcers and tried to prevent the bike from being ticketed or impounded.
He said he doesn't have a driver's license and the bike isn't his.
Could he be riding it, even without a license? It's possible, and that is something the MMDA encounter on a daily basis - unlicensed drivers.
But according to him, he's not using the bike 🤷♂️
@@GadgetAddict yes we understand it in Filipino. No need to explain in English to us 🤣
@@reymeradrianotv4001 ikaw ba kausap niya?
wow. loved that all his vehicles being towed 💗
Imagine.. 3 vehicles allegedly belonging to one person, or one household.
That's one heck of an expensive day for that guy.
The tickets alone will add up to P6000 - P9000 (depending if they added obstruction)
Then add the towing fees on top of that.
@@GadgetAddict That is a hefty fine. well he deserve it, why buy more than one vehicle if you don't a garage
Lots of people with no discipline , luckily MMDA doing their Job diligently👍👍
You know what would be great? Inreasing the penalty to those who try to "negotiate" or "ask for consideration" as if asking for special treatment.
He won't understand, because he doesn't want to understand. He wants it HIS way. Period.
That's the thing, he said he doesn't have a driver's license and that the bike isn't his.
But he's presenting himself to enforcers and asking them not to ticket or tow it 🤷♂️
Millions of people are suffering every day because of illegally parked vehicles in NCR.
People are wasting hours every day, sitting in traffic, partly because of illegally parked vehicles.
Pedestrians and commuters are forced to walk in the road because the sidewalks became VIP parking.
But still, many commenters say to "just give him a chance". If they give one person a chance, they must give EVERYONE a chance. Otherwise they're doing selective and unfair enforcement.
As for those people who say "the law only applies to the poor", they obviously didn't watch the video, otherwise they'd have to seen all the expensive cars that were also towed.
@@GadgetAddict I agree 100%. The whole driving culture here in the Philippines is TOXIC! The only real solution is a total restart, but since that is logistically impossible, we just have to suck it up.
By the way, we met years ago when you guys were doing your operations in Cubao, 20th ave and Mirasol. Thanks for your hard work and dedication! Excelsior!
Ang slow ng pick-up ni kuyang makulit. 😂 Itlog-manok-itlog. 😹
If Nebrija will give explanations to every violators he needs a cape and superpower. Lol
The saving grace is that when he tells it to just one person, thousands of people will also hear it at home.
Will it sink in and improve things on the road? Maybe not 100%, but even if you can improve 20%, that's still something 👍
He must learn from Naruto the Kagebunshin no Jutsu 😅
obob si kuya 🤣🤣🤣
Great job MMDA! Thank you GA for the captions. Love seeing the lame excuses and the shameless lawlessness getting exactly what they deserve. I don't think there is any respect for the letter of the law in many areas......
the best debate ive seen so far. kodos to bong. his patience is so high.
Good job mga sir. More power to all of mmda team sa pangunguna ni col.nebrija.
Don't be soft, increase the fine and don't negotiate.
If this guy cannot understand the "chicken or the egg" causality dilemma then there's no point in giving him any further explanation than what was said. It's a pity that these nitwits are going about their day without comprehending that they've violated the law and they would feel entitled to be granted clemency and be upset that law enforcement would not be able to bend their rules for him.
He knows ONLY chicken or egg is Lunch Food ... he don't know really. HE IS embarrassed to ask the police what it means chicken or egg
Kudos kay Col. Nebrija.
Thank you for update..👍
Can you make a video on how can they still tow a car that has hand brake engage
Love to watch this kind of videos.
We need to get donated a sidewalk power washer!
Hmm that's actually something worse considering. Although when you start cleaning one part, you kind of end up needing to do the whole thing, otherwise it looks odd.
They might bite off more than they can chew 🙈
Higher the fines!!! That’s the only solution to lessen violators because some people really don’t care at all
I certainly think the MMDA should consider increasing the penalty for repeat violators. That already exists for some violations.. I don't understand why they don't do it for illegal parking too.
@@GadgetAddict maybe lawmakers doesn’t understand because are not the one experiencing on the ground. Or maybe the price will still for business purposes not for ending the problem purposes. I heard they took off non contact apprehension penalties too because motorists are struggling to follow the law during stop lights. Idk what they thinking to stop the problem or it will just the same for the money they collect. Small price but it adds up
Madami pa din nabubuhay sa nakaraan... Grabe kung di palakasan o may kakilala, konting konsiderasyon......
Many people seem to feel entitled to "consideration"
This guy literally stood there and watched as his neighbors handed over their license and took tickets for illegal parking.
Why is he so special that he should be exempted, while his neighbors are penalized?
He said he doesn't even have a driver's license 🤦♂️

MMDA IMPLIMENTING THE LAW JOB WELL DONE TO ALL inforcer
I think government should invest on installing Plant boxes or some kind on the edge of side walk to prevent vehicle parking (just a suggestion)
That's been tried in many areas. Plant boxes, fences, posts and so on.
THe unfortunate thing is that they often get misused. For example vendors will use it as an area to attach their stalls, tarps and other things.
And the other problem is, even if the curb is high or there's a post, people just destroy the sidewalk in front of their home, and convert it to a parking ramp or something similar 🤦♂️
Why does the local government allow them to do it? I have no idea.
But then, the narrow sidewalks will be further narrowed more.
GA thanks for the subtitles. it helps loads to views. Unfunny that MMDA has to do the job of the barrangay. barrangays are so incompetent n corrupt
The problem is there's no consequence for them doing that. Either nakikiusap or nakikipagtalo. Dapat kasi may penalty for delaying the operation 500.00 pesos per minute. Tignan natin kung may makipagtalo pa.
these people piss me off, and in the end its the fault of the enforcer for not being sympathetic to the people. shame
we always ask for consideration from the enforcer when we are at fault but we dont consider to follow the law that enforcer needed to enforce
Is there a fine for obstructing license plate
If it was a moving violation, for example riding without helmet, they would typically add an extra penalty for the concealed or improperly displayed license plate. Or something specific to the improper attachment of a commemorative plate. It varies from case to case, depending on the installation.
For a non-moving violation like illegal parking, I don't think I can recall ever seeing it added to the ticket.
the problem 95% of the building have no parking space it is design like that before.
I regularly see houses that had a garage, but converted them to a shop or additional living space 🤷
But either way, people knew whether they had parking before they bought the vehicle.
It's okay to buy a vehicle even if you don't have parking, but you have to use a paid parking lot instead.
But many people don't want to do that because of the cost and hassle of walking back and forth.
Good job po.
That's Very Nice System & Thanks For Eng Subtitles 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
I felt my brain turned into chunky soup after watching and listening to that Sweet Potato 🍠 arguing to Col. Bong with his illogical reasoning.
Very good job sir 👍🙂 NICE VLOG SIR 👍🙂
Sir. Gadget Addict, ask why MMDA not to tow the ilegal parking in Mandaluyong Mabuhay lane in Maysilo Cirle. Thanks.

you have a car but you dont have a garage 👏🏻
Ang kulit nung mamang yun ah hehehe
Ignorance of the law excuses no one.
Decades of violation. Consideration is no longer an option.
nah dumbest sht i heard
walang pinag aralan eh. so pano maka intindi?
How can you say the driver came out? He said he doesn't have a driver's license and that the motorcycle isn't his.
BUT, if a driver appears and shows a valid license, they can be ticketed and allowed to drive away.
Unattended illegal parking = P2000
Towing fee for motorcycle = P1000
Technically, per the towing guidelines, an illegally parked vehicle can be towed in as little as 70 seconds. But they're actually giving an unofficial courtesy of 5 minutes.
If a licensed driver doesn't arrive in that time, it's really subject to towing.
Nice. Hope its implemented nationwide.
Ticket You... Ticket Me... Ticket Us hahahaha
The crazy thing is, he stood there and watched as his neighbors handed over their licenses and took tickets.
But for some reason, he believes he should be exempted. And he doesn't even have a license 🤷♂️
You can always ask for consideration, that's free. However, granting your request is not an automatic yes.
Sana ganito din sa iloilo.
they can afford to buy 1,2,3, to 4 cars but can't provide their vehicles of garage, they are relying on publis side walks and roads as their easy means to park their cars, ang yayabang niyo kasi bibilibili ng bagong sasakyan para ipagyabang lang sa mga kaibigan or kapitbahay.
Pretending ignorance of the law is not an excuse.
Wow, no license and he had the nerve to argue.
Issue a ticket or tow or both these illegally-parked
vehicles. Cause of major obstruction to pedestrian
and traffic. No registration/permit, no helmet and
other violations of these people who have no regard
of the law. Good job MMDA!!!
Do people learn their lessons ?? Just curious if anyone knows.
You’re right sir gadget 3 of yours vehicles got towed in one daybis a big despair thats why the owner at first cant accept the violation notice
It's understandable.
Even if it's his own mistake, that's a big headache to encounter. Many people would probably struggle to mentally process that at first.
But still, if they really own all 3 cars, it highlights that they really have the money to put into vehicles. Maybe the same level of expense should go into parking.
Will you please come and visit Taguig City especially the streets of Brgy. Sta. Ana namely Liwayway St. and Pulong Kendi St.
That's my long time wish they would do in the streets of my neighborhood, Maypajo, Caloocan City where all the streets are clogged with obstructions. Absolutely no actions from the Barangay Office.
That's why it's frustrating to see comments from people saying they should give him a chance because he's "just small"
If they give special consideration to one person, they have to give it to EVERYONE, to be fair.
People need to realize, it's about more than just that one guy.. this is a problem that is affecting millions of people every day.
Traffic caused by illegally parked vehicles. DIfficulties getting in and out of driveways or garages. Pedestrians walking in the road.
It all leads back to illegally parked vehicles.
Here in Project 7, many cars are in the streets.
Are they illegally parked or following a one-side parking ordinance? Have you ever seen the Barangay traffic enforcers, or DPOS, issuing tickets?
One thing I learned from these is that some drivers and riders actively hide their plate numbers. What motivations could there be for that
Sometimes they're just straight up criminals - involved in robbery, murder and things like that.
But a lot of the time they're just trying to prevent themselves being caught for relatively minor traffic violations.
Merry christmas 😅 tiba tiba tayo

Check the wheels. Blue car. 4:37 onwards.
Make it a law - do not allow purchase of any form of vehicles if the owner does not have a legal parking. Fine the car dealership if they allow the purchase - double the price of the vehicle for the fine
@ 0:10Thats why i dont want to borrow my personal property to others even my brother or relatives.
I saw my sticker @6:05 mins. 🤗
Fines is just too normal because some people can pay it with no problem.
Some people even get towed doing the same thing over and over, they never learn.
Being ticketed or towed one time might be considered a mistake but again and again is just plain stupidity or just ignoring the law.
They should revoke the license of people who gets ticketed or towed doing the same thing twice or more, they don't deserve a license.
Paulit ulit ... i-tow na yan ! 😎
Very hard to explain to people w/ a different look on reality. ‘My old grandmother and mom would say,’No Sentido 2:16
Pasensya na… is always their licence in the Philippines.
You don't have a license you have no business operating a motor vehicle.
Illegally parked expect towing or ticket.
Comment section here also doesn't understand when buying a vehicle, you should have a parking.
the street that connects to d tuazon which is sobriedad extension is full of illegally parked vehicles.
They hit many streets around there. I wasn't able to cover them all because the enforcers split into multiple smaller groups.
But the truth is, at just P1000 for illegal parking (attended), it doesn't serve as much of a deterrent. Especially because people know the MMDA don't have enough manpower to return to the same streets that often.
It's still cheaper to take a couple of tickets per month, instead of paying for parking, or giving up space on your own land, for parking.
The MMDA should consider increasing the penalty for repeat violators.
Suggest q lng sna nmn yung mga natotowing ingatan nmn nla yung mga sasakyan kpg tinotow nla... Kc ingat yung may-ari n wg magasgasan...
No license, just move away from the vehicle. End of discussion. I admire the patience, but this give violators a false sense of entitlement what not.
MMDA enforcers are too nice! Enforcers shouldn't have to explain the law to licensed drivers! They have a license that means they should know the rules and regulations! Also, there shouldn't be a 5 min. rule or courtesy, ticket right away.
