Refused to stop for law enforcement

- Many of these drivers were apprehended for simple violations, which then led to the vehicle being impounded, because they were unable to show a valid drivers license.
* those drivers who couldn't show a license were impounded. Those who showed a valid license were able to drive away with just a ticket. - Розваги
The government should impose a harsher punishment to those who are just carrying their helmet and not wearing it. It's very clear that they are challenging the law. They are deliberately disrespecting the system.
MMDA should really join forces with the police and just bring a mobile JAIL. Those who were caught should stay in that mobile JAIL for at least 2-4 hrs. Taking away their time is a good penalty I think.

After years watching his videos, GA finally said it. "Barangays are useless", within the context of maintaining/clearing the streets. I know he was thinking it, I was just waiting for him to say it.
To be honest, there are some barangays that are well handled. I think perfection is impossible, even private property owners struggle - even if they generally do a better job.
But there's also some barangays that just do not want to help when it comes to clearing and they don't want to help when it comes to their constituents threatening enforcers.
So at some point, it's hard to find a good word to say.
@@GadgetAddict I understand that. I got to admit though, that good barangays have become the exception, not the rule. It shouldn't be that way.
Most barangay officials walk on eggshells around their constituents because it may jeopardize their chances next elections and just let them do what they want.
Have seen it first hand in Dagupan St. which was recently featured in one of your videos where the chairman allegedly punched an enforcer. I lived there for about a decade before moving to Cavite. It's a bit better now, because back then jeepneys would double park on both sides and just leave one and a half lane for traffic both ways during the night. Sidewalks are non existent because private properties have encroached upon them. The usual stuff you see on your videos.
Keep up the good work, man.
@@Valkross9 That doesn't apply anymore, I'm sure a lot more of the barangay will be more appreciative of the barangay chairman if the chairman works to clear the barangay roads and sidewalks.
@@rap3208 That's a bit naive tbh. People in the Philippines like "change" as long as the change doesn't inconvenience them.
@@Valkross9 Imho, it's a " punch to the moon " if majority of barangays will cooperate in the clearing operations of MMDA.
Good morning....sir the way you explain abt traffic rule Is very clear and you Always good advices...filippino can speak and understand english very, but their ignorance Is very clear and selfish....mr GA thanks for very good vlog...stay safe and keep teaching filipino drivers
Will as the old saying goes "ignorance is no excuse when it comes to law" I think more harsh punishment is the only way people will learn. If it was harsh enough people wouldn't do it. Your videos prove it same people doing same things even if not same people they know better is why they try to run.
New subscriber here. First time I've come across to your vlog. Amazing channel. How come I didn't know this?
really love how you say Diyan lang ako Gang!!!😆
Hahaha Dyan lang ako gang!🤣🤣🤣 Pretty cute😍😍
I don’t think those violators are disrespectful of the laws. I think they are just plain stupid. They represent the state of the nation. From the ordinary people all the way up to the highest positions in the government, stupidity reigns. I have lost all hopes for my country of birth.
This needs to be done EVERYWHERE here in the Philippines for the sake of PUBLIC SAFETY.
MMDA is only Metro Manila based.
I hope one day @GadgetAddict won't need to post or upload these kind of videos (because theres none), instead post clean sidewalks, positive vibes and goodnews about PH...i guess we really have a long way to go. More power to MMDA and GadgetAddict please don't get tired. Good job!
For me, the videos are positive, in the sense that they show what's being done to try and improve things.
The reality is, a few bad drivers can cause problems for the MAJORITY of reasonable or good drivers.
But I do also hope that one day we see better results, so the public can really see and feel the difference.
@@GadgetAddict wish this was a bigger team.... BIGGGG so that larger areas can be swiped too and instilling a sense of discipline.
In the words of the the late PM of Singapore "Lee Kwan Yew" on educating the general public when he was interviewed by BBC's Tim Sebastian on when the so called draconian rule will stop.... his answer WHEN THEY LEARN.
It's a never eding saga.
Keep going MMDA.
@@djangocc3315 the problem I've seen with bigger teams is that sometimes they actually end up being less effective and catching less violators.
Because some enforcers would just let the violator pass by, thinking someone else will catch it a little further along... Until the violator already passed everyone without being caught.
So you do have to be a little bit careful about the size of the teams.
@@GadgetAddict hope they come to Las Piñas, needed badly here.
@@GadgetAddict I suggest thay should put an MMDA Inspector then if they have a big team, that way enforcers actions can be corrected on site or later.
Its so sad as years pass by still ganito pa rin problema ng pinas. Impose a P100k fine whatever violation it is plus "shredding those units", from no helmet, no shoes and no license then let's see kung hindi pa magsitino mga tao

Hey GA! Your thumbnail is upgrading. 🤣
lol I'm trying to get a bit more creative.
@@GadgetAddict It's actually nice, even i watched all of your videos, you still caught my attention. And now this creativity, makes it so interesting to watch haha.
I'm new'ish to your channel and find your videos interesting. Could you make a video explaining who is who and who does what :-)? Like the Barangay, who are they and what do they do. The guy wearing the cowboy style hat (@4:43) that talks to everyone. Are these guys in blue wearing motorcycle helmets like the Police or are they more like code enforcement officers. Thanks thumbs up.
Perhaps I should include some kind of hints on the screen for new viewers. Especially those outside of the country.
The men in blue uniform are traffic enforcers. They don't have police powers to arrest, but they can apprehend drivers for various traffic violations, from illegal parking, to distracted or reckless driving, speeding and so on.
The one with the cowboy hat (Bong Nebrija) is the commander of this specific task force - New Task Force Special Operations & Anti-colorum Unit.
Anti-colorum involves apprehending vehicles being used for illegal public transport.
The closest word to barangay would probably be "town".
So when they're talking about the barangay, they either mean the place, e.g. do you live inside this town (barangay)?
Otherwise they mean the staff, whether elected or hired. E.g. do you work for the town (barangay)?
Many barangays are just small, spanning a few streets. Others are much larger.
Sometimes what the barangay tells their constituents is in conflict with the national laws that they're meant to follow.
I hope I would live long enough to see the day when the Barangay, Kagawad and SK abolished. So much wasted money for these people who seem non- existent.
Daily "Dyan Lang Ako Gang" line pls 🤣
Just how many riders and drivers we share the road with are actually driving without their licenses, and their vehicles unregistered? Really surprising (and should I say rather scary) is that it is their lot who are most likely to break traffic rules and even cause accidents that could also affect licensed and disciplined drivers.
That's why it's no surprise that so many people simply run away from accidents.
They don't respect the law in the first place and they certainly don't want to take any responsibility.
Peoples stupidity never ceases to amaze me. No license so what do they do, oh let me attract attention to myself with no helmet no shoes. This type of person is plain selfish, they care nothing for the law or other people.
Why not if caught twice license revoked, and you need to apply for it all over again, fines onviously do not work
People are not afraid to violate the law because there are no severe consequences for violating it. There is also that confidence that they can reason out to or bribe the traffic enforcer.
Good job sir.
Nice style😀
Majority of the cats here in the Philippines who crossed the roads are usually a victim of hit and run.
I'm not sure what is so hard about securing a license. Got mine in 2017 for 5 yrs, renewed last year for 10yrs. That's a one time payment & a few hour process so don't tell me you can't do it. Photocopy your ORCR and keep it in your compartment or your wallet.
The sad thing is when these people get into an accident or cause one they use the forbidden "scratch head" technique. And post Gcash number. SMH.
I guess Gadget Addict's blogging is secured for another 25yrs I say? Some people just don't get it. 😄 I'll keep watching.
Good job col.Bong Nebrija
Hope this can be to the provinces. There a lot riding motorcycles with no helmets, no shoes and pretty much no license.
Yeah things are still pretty much relaxed in many provinces. Although I think that's going to change in time.
PAKI TOW DIN PO YUN MGA MOTORCYCLE NAKA PARK SA SIDEWALK NG CAINTA-TAYTAY FLOODWAY ROAD AREA...
5:08 no helmet, wearing slippers. Getting angry to the enforcers for stopping him. Nice one.
There was another rider like that a day or two ago. But he's more angry and kept raising his voice.
When they tried to flag him down, he refused to stop and kept riding.
One of the enforcers tapped the side of the bike, so there can be no doubt that he's really the one they're trying to stop.
(Sometimes riders pretend they didn't realize they were the bike that enforcers were trying to stop, even if they were right in front of them, looking them in the eye.)
He had two children (excess passenger) and neither of them had helmets 🤦♂️
MMDA, good job, but you should do it all throughout metro manila.....

My guy - is there any way for you to let us know like the percentage of these violation tickets actually get paid?
Judging by the amount of people seen with years-long expired licenses/registration, quite a lot. 'Cause you can't renew your license/registration without paying the fines.
5:52 The license plate is "accidentally" broken. That's a very good play on words.
At some point, it becomes hard to believe that all these plates of violators are being accidentally broken.
But I guess we have to give the benefit of any doubt.
Base on your blogs, it seems like MMDA task force is not looking into the areas of Makati City.
Very good job
No one is above the law and ignorance of the law excuses no one. These police officers should be role models and not the violators. Why is it so hard for them to comply with the MMDA rules and regulations.
Maganda makipag usap yung naka orange, hindi naninigaw, kalmado lang.
No wonder traffic is bad
Alot of vehicles on the road are unauthorised & unlicensed drivers 😮
I wish the MMDA would embrace automating the stop lights. That would free up their enforcers to issue tickets to violators all the time, not just during operations like this.
nag bukas pa ng u-box wala naman palang lisensya.🤣🤣🤣
Dyan-Lang-Ako Gang!
What if there are no enforcer to do this kind of activity in everyday lives, what will happen to our community especially the roads?
Things would get worse. More people would feel brave enough to drive without a license, without knowing the rules of the road.
That's what I remind people.. maybe MMDA can't solve all these problems by themselves, but for sure things would be much worse if they did nothing at all.
Nakakainis. Ung Pulis doon din nakatira pero hindi nya sinita or pinagbawalan ung mga nakapark. Dapat alam nya yan dahil sa Pagkapulis nya. Pati sya sa sidewalk nakapark.
Hi @GadgetAddict, can you make your videos a little bit longer, 15 to 25 mins long, we're bitin 😁, seems we are still missing some actions but kudos to you! Good job! 👍⭐
Right now I'm really trying to decide whether I should be making longer videos or not.
A lot of people say they want longer videos, but the stats say otherwise, with most people only watching for a much shorter time.
Considering the huge number of hours it takes to blur all the videos, I'm starting to wonder whether it makes sense.
I'm thinking about maybe uploading longer versions elsewhere and then keeping the shorter and more interesting bits for UA-cam.
@@GadgetAddict Say, longer version every weekend? if it doesn't bother you. Thank you and more power.
GOOD JOB!
Can the owners retrieve their motorcycle even without renewing its license plate?
No they cannot. The violation still stands
If they impose a minimum of P5K up to P100K penalty or face jail time, I am sure nobody would dare to violate.
All these years I've been following you and none of these people have learned anyting. I think they should jack up the fines so people should know what is at stake.
The fines should be paid before getting their vehicle out of impound.
The irony of that these riders or drivers who are driving without license when you get into an accident or unintentionally hit them you are possibly liable for any damage you may incur when in fact they should not be on the road and driving in the first place coz if they follow and respect the law some accidents can be prevented, i hope theres some law that puts higher accountability on drivers or riders that drive vehicles without license in cases where there are unintentional accidents.
The problem with these riders is they treat their motorbikes as bicycles.
I really don't understand these law breakers. If they don't have a valid motorcycle driving license, why DRAW ATTENTION TO THEMSELVES by not wearing a helmet and shoes? That's just common sense, not rocket science. Had they worn a helmet and shoes, the cops/traffic enforcers would've just waved them through and not stopped to be checked.
Common sense is not so common nowadays
Some of the riders run away because they knows that the 🐊🐊🐊 will scare and extort them
I've yet to understand the role of the Barangay on a day to day in general.
Ensuring chairs are warm and cozy to sit on
Addictive camote-cleansing show
Did the rider with a child on board get ticketed? The one with a helmet
Yes
@@GadgetAddict ok, i thought they only warned the rider 😅
They should show these videos on local T.V so people know what's illegal
here we go again dyan lang ako gang he he so many members
They should put those driving without license in a jail for 24 hours or community service and those who dont put theyre helmet correctly should be penalize for Improper use of helmets..
Harsher punishments especially on repeat offenders.
Update to digital to better help them with database that can easily identify repeat offenders.
Although the tickets are manually written, everything is encoded, and the MMDA are also tied in with LTO.
So they already know who the repeat violators are.
Remember when the MMDA asked LTO to suspend the drivers license of literally thousands of bus drivers?
All of those bus drivers had over 100 violations - the majority of which hadn't been paid.
There was even one driver that had racked up over 500 violations on his license.
Ang sarap daming motor na impound hahahha
nasa manila kayo lalakas ng loob walang helmet, walang lisensya at naka tsinelas, buti dito sa probinsya ko di mahigpit hehehe.
4:32 enforcers missed that lady with red 🛵. No helmet, wearing slippers. It's your lucky day. Lady. Save P3,000 for the helmet and P500 for the slippers. Nice one.
It wasn't missed. I saw her flagged down earlier. That's why I blurred her face.
I just don't know whether she was ticketed because that's not a motorcycle. It's an e-bike.
Some e-bikes require a license but many don't. As for the exact helmet required, it depends on the category that it falls under (LTO Administrative Order No. 2021-039)
Are these violations reported to LTO? Otherwise its no use
MMDA is tied in with LTO. Any ticket issued by MMDA, also enters the LTO database.
Dapat hindi binebentahan ang mga walang lisensya.requirements dapat yan sa pagbili ng sasakyan..nadadamay matitinong driver/rider dahil sa mga yan. Pagnaaksidente mo mga yan ikaw pa may may kasalanan.
