1:16 What a way to waste an arrow and it's also strange coming from a good elf archer like Legolas. 1:23 As for The King of Gondor, The King of the Dead is in front of The FUTURE King of Gondor.
If I could change 1 thing about the extended cut it would be to restore the theatrical cut for the army of the dead scene. The popcorn avalance. The horrendous and tacky "we fight". Get rid of it. Awful. I much prefer this moment of suspense and then paid off with the arrival at the battle.
I totally agree. But you wouldn't see Peter Jackson. He was the pirate slayed by Legolas' arrow 🙂 Maybe keep the scene from the orignal extended cut as bonus.
@@crabberdabberye😂what? Elrond and Aragorn talked about it right before he left the Rohirrim encampment and right before they entered the mountain Legolas recants the story to Gimli...
This scene was so good. Peter Jackson directed these movies so well.
0:19 “You *WILL* suffer me.” 💯🎬🍿👏🏾
I freakin loved the Dunharrow King. His CGI is so much more believable than most of the CGI now.
WETA wortkshop , one of the best studio in CGI .
Love how he doesn’t respond he just said aight bet . Sword fight
The dead are quite dramatic.
That opening dialogue would be the perfect intro to a death metal album

Yeh it was terrible... and that's why I prefer the theatrical version of The Return of the King, the dead army stuff works great in that version.

How can Aragorn grabs the ghost king with bare hand?
"None but the King of Gondor may command me." Aragorn is king of Gondor, and so these cursed men are within his grasp.
@@rebeccaliar9873 So, can he command or grab him the ghost king without the sword then?
@@nekadaracikdegilmi Yes.
@nekadaracikdegilmi yes he grabbed him @ 1:36
