hehehe... they have a different way of thinking then. i think it is because of the way they mapped out touch resolution to include the soft buttons on the left side of the screen.
I think there is a option to calibrate the touch screen to remove the touch offset you encounter, The heating issue is real (Generally at the bottom edge) but removing fan might degrade the processor life in longer run. Apart from that the fitting issue is there with allmost all head unit as these android panels are retro fitted on moulded trims even i've to remove some edges to be able to fit it properly. How's the system opearating after a year i'm still suspecious and worried that someday i have to go back to the stock radio. Just installed it a week ago.
Thanks for your input! My unit is still doing OK after a year. I do put cover over the unit in the Summer. Now the weather is not that hot so i dont bother covering my head unit anymore. I cut the power supply to the fan without any apparent issue with heat. But once in awhile, i do experience some bluetooth connectivity issue. Overal, i am still happy that i have it installed in my old used car which really adds more "features" to my daily driver. CHEERS👍
@@lavithhcm Thanks for update, And yes it totally changed the look of the dashboard after i replaced the ugly radio. And dont have to worry about connecting aux or loading songs to a stick lot conveinant if you install tasker app you could run automations at startup.
Summer starting soon. I just wonder the window tint with UV protection helps with the heat? I am thinking it might still heats up the screen which is bad for the unit. Please let me know. I am currently putting a book over the unit. While the inside of the car is hot but the screen is cool to touch.
i can make a video about it but it is hard to capture the audio difference between the stock and ahu. But i can tell you that it can be very similar to stock if you turn down the base frequency from #AHU settings. Otherwise u get distortion from. watch up coming video.
@@lavithhcm well in my case they shipped it to Germany spoofing the product value (17 Euros "Car DVD") to evade customs - certainly to my benefit, but I'd say it's not even a grey zone anymore ;-)

Will the radio turn on automaticlly when starting the car up? And do it remember what channel it was in earlier? Do it have auto brightness adjustment?
You mean the fm/am radio from the head unit? in my case, my unit AM/FM radio doesnt work despite being advertised so on the item description. My #AHU doesnt even have connection for the anttena.
Honestly, after 9 month of using this I don't really care about brand. In fact, I would look for what's underneath like SoC. ei. Snapdragon 662 android head unit or Snapdragon 665 android head unit which is much faster than mine in the video and of course more $$$$.
You know your touch configuration needs to be reconfigured and recalibrated. But I want to change the unit to android 13 unit and have 9 inch screen. However I cant see which one fits my car from Alibaba or Express. Can you help here?
hi, im driving a nissan sylphy and thinking of installing a HU myself. Of cos i need a dashboard adapter. But shopping around i notice that while the dashboard adapters say 10inch , some times HU specs say 10.1 inch. Are they actually the same?
I would get the one that is specifically for your vehicle. pay attention to the soft buttons on the side. Do they look like they have the same soft buttons on the left side.? Also, ask them about the chipset. Apparently, there are better chipset than my AHU even though the screen might look the same as mine.
@@sergeyvidenin3739 not really. that is not the reason. With direct sunlight hitting the screen, it won't turn on when you start the car. The unit works just fine without the screen on. That being said, the unit can withstand the heat inside the car under hot summer days as long as you cover the unit with something out of direct sunlight hitting the screen. The unit is still fine after almost 2 years without fan, I just have to cover the screen from direct sunlight from hot summer days (no issues in direct sunlight in colder months though)... What i am saying is surface temperature can be much higher than the ambient temperature inside the car during hot summer days. Thus, making LCD screen working out of temperature spec with direct hit sunlight (again hot summer days) whether fan connected or not. Hope it answers your doubt.
Chinese head units offer tons of features and utility for the money, but they are poorly built. Expect to replace it in a year or two, at the most. I've found them to not be worth the effort of installing them.
Time will tell for my #AHU. 🤩 I have had it for only couple of months. Wish me luck! I mostly use it for spotify, make phone call thru bluetooth and ocasionally navigation using waze, Gmap. Google Assistant work OK too. I dont use it for Android Auto due the fact it's buggy with volume and the gimmick ADS driver assist + 6 way 360 view.
A year?!?! Lmaoo your insane! If you get one with decent specs, at least 4gb RAM and 8 core CPU which can be had for $100, you can make it last for many many many years
In that case, you need to have at least 6 cameras setup around your vehicle. 2 front 2 side and 2 rear. The software is easy. You need to have an app that can do 360 bird-eye view. But for me that seems too much work to do with all the wiring and I would barely use it. Thus I skipped it and just use front dashboard and rear camera. You can do it if you are good with wiring. Any android head system can do that as long as you have an app installed.

best video for chinese touch screen in the net !!! well done !
for the static noise you need a Ground Loop Noise Isolator, it pluhs into the AUX port
thank you i will try that to see it completely remove the static noise
Where can I buy?
Google for incartec for example @@Apulux
Maybe the touch is offset in that menu so you can see exactly where the slider is? Just a thought.

For the screen issue … just install legal tints with uv protection. 😮
