Good Content but I am bit confused after watching and reading on overpronation and fallen arch.. I usually walk a lot and stand for a longer duration which makes it quite painful in the arch area. Please suggest. Should i go for Asics Gel Kayano 28, 27 or GT 2000 10 , 9 .. or any other brand..
Watching this video 3 times and start thinking about Asics Gt 2000 9. At Malaysia, asics are expensive shoes. If Gt 2000 can give good results as Kayano 27,so I'm go for it
I have super flat feet and have rolled my ankles so many times. Ive always worn asics but found with the GT1000 and 2000 i tended to roll my ankles more. Asics used to have a “gel foundation” which they advertised as a “severe overpronation” shoe that worked perfect; never once rolled my ankles in them. But they seem to have discontinued them. Their GT2000 and kayano are advertised as “mild overpronation/neutral” shoes which is very disappointing to me. I loved the gel foundation.
Hi! Which shoes would be the most versatile for both speed and long distance if I can only buy one?? I’m definitely more concerned about cushion due to my history of stress fractures!
Exactly. Why on earth would they recommend high arch support for flat feet that would be torture. Makes him sound like he’s reading a script and has no idea what he’s talking about
When you talk about stability what do you mean? I am trying to decide between Gel Kayano and the GT 2000. I have been using the kayanos for years but I’m now considering the GT 2000s.
Which one of these are best if your feet are wide at the mid foot. I’m currently using new balance fresh foam and the edge of my foot is always in a lot of pain cause it sits in the edge of the shoe. Any suggestions?
i have the same problem. Wearing a new balance 860 v11. When i walk my arches hurt and if i walk a lot i get pain on the outer lateral column. It feels sore, almost like bruising. I wonder if it is because the wide shoe isn't wide enough.
Thank you so much. I am new to this - I have just find out that I have flat feet since I have running on treadmill everyday when lockdown. I feel sore on my left ankle after running and my left knee sometimes too.Using my Adidas Alphabounce trainer for that. Do you suggest any shoes from Adidas (or more from Nike) for flat feet? Sorry for my english.
I'm a flat feet guy as well and 100% not recommend Nike since they're usually narrow so it won't be as comfy. Personally I always use Adidas especially Ultraboost for daily activities.
Too squishy for me. I sent mine back after getting ankle pain and went back to the Structures and Odyssey. I think the Odyssey is a better fun daily trainer but not the best long run shoe for Flat Feet. Structure 22 and below is better "structure" for long runs, especially faster ones. But that's all changed with the latest model....
Was about to ask the same thing. My feet is low arch and i just ran 10km with my newly bought Infinity react. My arch hurts alot after the run. Isit related to the break-off the shoes? Or I lack in stretching? I have no idea.
This shoe probably gave me my ankle injury that hasn’t cleared for 4 months. Never really feels comfortable and there’s a plastic thing that digs into the medial side of your foot which sucks. Not going back to Nike anytime soon.
Try the Kayano 28 if you are looking for stability. The Cumulus provides a lot of cushion as well if you don't need as much stability. Both great shoes!
I watch the full video I don’t know what kind of shoe to get I’m a wide flat foot when I run my feet start to hurt and I’m looking for some good running shoes that will help me in the long run please someone help me
@@roadrunnersports7870 thanks for the advice I just purchased the Nike infinity react yesterday ,did a couple runs in them so far ,and wow I am impressed ,my legs a feet do not hurt in those shoes.
Thanks for the review good stuff and inclusive. Still missing content for Flat Feet racers 5k-Marathon. Not your fault, no one is doing it. I have to experiment on my own but it's expensive. haha
Have you tried the Adidas Adizero Adios Pro? I have flat feet and overpronate but these shoes were pretty stable for me. All the other shoes bothered my ankles.
@@knightryder02 I have not. I try to limit myself to a few brands after leaving Nike, and added Saucony, Asics, and New Balance. After bombing the marathon in the VaporFly's with insoles, my options now are Zoom Fly (3/Flyknit), Endorphin Speed, NB FC Prism, Asics DS Trainer, and Fastwitch. In that order of long to short distance. Zoom Fly and Speed are neutral and more for Marathon-10k racing.
Hi Chris! The Glycerin probably isn't best for you. You may want to try a stability or motion control shoe. Give us a call at 1-800-743-3206, stop into one of our retail stores or send us a message on social media and we will be sure to help you find your perfect fit! - Rhian F

Great vid. I now have even less of a clue what ones to go for though lol.
haha! All great shoes!
😂😂😂😂 honestly
Just the right guidance video I was searching.
Which shoes do you recommend for over pronation and to be used while playing field sports with quick starts and sudden stops?

All Asics state stability is Neutral Aka, Not for OverPronators! They just use the term to charge more!
I have ordered the Nike React Miler and hopefully see how they go
I have the worst feet which takes out all my energy
Nike react miler made everything worse
Thoughts on ultraboost sir? Is it also for flat foot runners?

Something you’re missing is people with flat feet often step onto medial posts which cause pain on the medial arch.

I have arch support orthotic. Is it redundant to use it with a motion control shoe?
My whole foot hurts when I run. I have no clue how to find any shoes. Immediately as I start running my shin and heels hurt like bruising..
honestly same, my shin hurts like im getting kicked right as i start

I would go with the Saucony Guide 14. Very wide shoe in my opinion! - Brandon
