      We see this crap happen in this state almost all the time. We are a blue state..coddle criminals, sanctuary cities, no death penalty, no cash bail, criminals released before the officer can complete the paperwork. We get Texas and California criminals daily. Even illegals move on from here. No jobs and low minimum wage.

      Every single defense attorney in New Mexico will be swarming those court houses using this as precident to demand new trials to be sure that if their clients who were convicted was legally convicted and that there were no "Let's hide this evidence from the defense" moments there.

      This was done intentionally so the case would be thrown out. The murder weapon was also damaged to a point that it was “broken” by our illustrious FBI. The same FBI that is an arm of the Democrats Party ruined a critical piece of evidence, the murder weapon, in a case in which the defendant is a huge Democrat donor and fundraiser, and an outspoken Trump hater. This is the most obvious example of FBI shenanigans since the Hunter Biden Laptop and Biden Family Cartel corruption coverup.

      She was a special prosecutor. God only knows how she took the case. The prosecutor should have told the judge who should have never brought the case to trial. Local DA was probably not competent to try the case. The fact so many of the previous prosecutors left was that they didn't want to get caught up in this messed up case.

      Actors clowning around. Thinking they live in the lawless New Mexico Territory late 1800's. The armoror was inexperienced and she is paying for it. Doubt Baldwin will ever see New Mexico again. This is why crime is really bad in New Mexico. Inept prosecutors, I don't believe the jury would have convicted him anyway. Usually it is the liberal judges that let pedophiles out on probation, allow multiple DWI/DUI convicted to get probation. Hell this state is home to Deb Haaland, Biden's secretary of the interior. She has two DUI convictions. The crooked Democrats here are soft on crime. Live in Albuquerque? You have a 1 in 177 chance of being a victim of a felony. Last year the Governor made an executive order that violated the 2nd amendment. She got spanked by a federal judge. State is dead last in education. 50 percent of the population cannot read above a 6th grade level.

    • @markuswx1322
      @markuswx1322 24 дні тому

      Really none. The ammunition turned out not to be probative to the central question of Baldwin’s culpability in lying about pulling the trigger of the Colt revolver. It was similar to the nonlive ammo that PDQ Props provided to the Rust set and suggested but did not prove that the origin was Hannah Gutierrez-Reed or her father. That question is still open. This judge came down hard on the lead investigator for assigning a bogus case file number to the evidence, after rumbles from the 350,000-member film industry trade unions. Plainly New Mexico would like to remain a friendly venue for dramatic productions.
      Baldwin’s lawyer argued strenuously that the existence of the rather obscure Starline brass .45 cases would ‘mess up’ the prosecutors’ case, but I don’t see how. The hearing on the motion to dismiss was a circus. Experienced lawyers have never seen anything like it.

      There was literally no way on earth that event took place without a responsible person pointing a firearm at a human they can see and then cocking the hammer.
      Even his version of the events... that he never pulled the trigger, which was controverted by inspection of the gun that the hammer sear worked just fine... even if the sear broke, he still pointed it at a human and cocked it.
      No one else did that.
      At worst the armorer mixed up the bullets. But ever since the Crow accident, this kind of mistake has been accounted for by using camera tricks so no one EVER EVER EVER points a firearm at another human on set ever again.
      Then use rubber props for holdups, or mirrors or angles to use a functional firearm to simulate pointing a loaded firearm.
      Only 1 human broke those rules by his own free will and actually caused this, and then immediately blamed people he hired.

      At age 8, I learned the cardinal rules of gun safety. Do not cock the gun until you are ready to shoot and NEVER point a gun at a target, unless you intend to kill. Even children learn and practice these rules. Now, Alex and Hilary (Hilaria) will go on to the reality tv project that they set in motion. Alec has the personality type of someone who is incapable of remorse. His tears were not for the loss of Helyna, they were tears of relief that he's off the hook. Sadly, a little boy is left without a mother and a husband is left without his wife. Alec takes no responsibility. Did the judge follow the letter of the law? Yes. Was justice served? Hot take while this was very underhanded by the prosecution it shouldn't matter he's guilty.... (I know that sounds bad but this is pretty cut-and-dried. He didn't check his weapon it's a simple)
    He's a professional he should know how to properly handle a firearm, blank rounds and live rounds look different, feel different and sound different. It would have taken him half a second to check the ammunition in his gun or even Glance at it realizing it was the wrong ammo. Yes the armor screwed up and the person who handed him the firearm also screwed up by not looking at it but at the end of the day the person who pulls the trigger is solely responsible for his actions.
    This is preached in every single firearms training class, this is preached on every reenactment gunfight I've ever taken part of, you cannot claim negligence firearms are not toys especially when this was so avoidable just to "fudging" look at it. The shooter is responsible for checking his weapon, hell in the behind the scenes on a lot of the Keanu Reeves John wick movie sets you would often see him look at his mag twice which looks like him verifying his ammunition as he should. You can't shoot somebody without verifying that you're shooting blanks especially when it takes half a second to verify it.
    It doesn't matter if anybody says if the gun is cold or not. It is your responsibility to check before you pull the trigger and you never trust anybody else, this is preached over and over and over again and it has always been this way this is not new.
