Alec Baldwin’s Lawyers Get Fired Up, Says There’s Too Many Issues in “Rust” Trial

- On the third day of trial, both defense attorneys for defendant Alec Baldwin, Alex Spiro and Luke Nikas, reveal they believe this case has had too many issues. Spiro said, “I’ve been on many high-pressure cases, and there have been more issues in this case than I’ve had throughout my career.” Spiro also said he believes that state attorney Kari Morrisey has been signaling to witnesses on the stand. Nikas got furious regarding the conduct of the prosecution.

Alec’s lawyer’s put on a master class. Mic 🎤 drop!
As did the judge. Yesterday the judge was struggling to control the courtroom but today she whipped it into shape.
What a lovely professional judge. She's what judges should be. Very smart judge.
She is in the league with Judge Newman who did Alec Murdaugh trial!
The judge is a no BS judge!❤
Most U.S. Judges are like this judge. This is why the US legal system is considered the fairest or best in the world.
Alec’s lead attorney was worth every cent of the $2100 per hour.
If Alec Baldwin had put his defense council’s fees towards the production he could have hired a better crew and the trial would have never happened. He was great in The Shadow and Glengarry Glen Ross.
@@rancosteel... Or took the responsibility upon himself & safety checked the gun himself since it was in his hands before pointing the gun anywhere, the excuse of being a prop gun is Lame.

That’s a smooth lawyer, right there! Polite, sweet looking and going in for the kill!
The second defense counsel is; the first? Not so much.
Alex Spiro the lead defence attorney is getting all the credit but it is Luke Nikas that is the star. Luke Nikas outlined the argument for dismissal of the case based on prosecutor misconduct.
Hmm. I noticed her doing that and thought it was a onetime thing. She raised her hand slightly to get a witness to stop talking. He did
I have been trying to find a clip or image of her doing it and somehow cannot. How is no one jumping on that????
Sounds like maybe Seth Kenny and the other girl that wanted to get Hannah fired need to be relooked at.

Wow! This guy is well prepared.
@@joannholmes8726the main lawyer Alex Spiro is getting all the credit but this lawyer is the one that is laying out the misconduct by the prosecutor. He is explaining it all in plain English.
Many of these studio settings hire and fire people they know very well. They party together. Back-stabbing comes with the territory. Look at how Harvey Weinstein had his in/out crowd.
The moment Kari gave Sarah immunity and she threw ammo away I was immediately convinced that Kari is dirty. I understand Hannah was not responsible, and she loaded a live round in this gun, and she’s at fault, but not Alec.
True!
It appears this judge suspected the dishonesty of this prosecutor for a long time. Has she ever gone through evidence with gloves before?
Outrageous they are setting him up 😱
I don’t like Alec Baldwin, but I don’t think he could have reasonably known this gun was in anything other than a toy/prop. How could he know there was live ammunition? If it had not fired at Hutchinson, would another actor have been shot during a scene?
He did know. That was the issue for him. Mr. Baldwin didn’t exercise his 5th amendment right to self incrimination, he specifically told investigators that he KNEW it was a real gun lol. Not that it matters now, government made a fatal error.
@@Voyager-dz7dryeah the issue isn’t that it’s a real gun, it’s weather he knew there was live ammunition in the gun and not just prop bullets/blanks.
@@BigHikeGuy no. The issue is that he knew it was a real gun and a reasonable person could conclude that without checking the firearm yourself, pointing a real gun at another person and pulling the trigger could inflict serious bodily harm. @@maryjaneshoe-fm4yrit’s def relevant. If no live round, no death
@@maryjaneshoe-fm4yr Someone else might have intentionally made sure there were loaded rounds. This did come up briefly in Hannah’s trial how the prosecution ran into a dead end trying to prove Seth Kenny was responsible. Ms Hutchins death would be the responsibility of the person who intentionally supplied live rounds and poorly trained Hannah Gutierrez imo. There are other ways to argue the case. Imo Alec only removed the gun from the underarm holster. Hula was standing right there. There was no “pointing.” Idk if they showed the rehearsal video this time but you get a different idea than a regular point and shoot.
@@MayaGTKdoesn’t matter, there are pictures and video of him pointing the gun with his FINGER on the trigger and thumb on the hammer. That is how a single action Army pistol works. What matters is Baldwin held the gun, pointed the gun, and had his finger on the trigger. He obviously did not check the pistol when it was handed to him. He did not open the loading gate, with finger off the trigger, pull the hammer back to the half cocked position, then rotate the cylinder 7 times slowly, to visually check that each of the 6 chambers were empty. ( 7 so you are sure you went passed your starting chamber). If he saw a round chambered, then he should have called for a stop, and ask why is this weapon loaded?
