Jon being the oldest of Ned's children is proven to be true when you look at the timeline of Robert's Rebellion: If Jon is 8-9 months older than Daenerys then that means Jon was born around the Sack of King's Landing, as Dany was conceived shortly after the Battle of the Trident. Robb was conceived on Ned and Cat's wedding night, which happened after the Battle of the Bells and before the Battle of the Trident. So our little timeline of events goes something like: the Bells → Robb's conception → the Trident → Dany's conception → the Sack of KL/Jon's birth. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong but I'd say that Robb is actually closer in age to Daenerys than he is to Jon. Jon is the older brother by several months, potentially even half a year.
Cat’s treatment of Jon is completely unjust, and wrong. Jon would never in any way put himself before his siblings, even in spite of how Cat has treated him his while life at Winterfell. Its completely obvious from the feelings they all have for Jon. I love, the scene where Rob tells Cat that he is going to name Jon his heir after Sansa married Tyrion. Rob clearly loves Jon and Jon Rob. He would never try to take Winterfell from Rob. How does Cat not see who Jon really is? Even after Stannis offer Winterfell to him, he still couldnt do it. Jon is a good man, and will do what ever is right, no matter what.
I agree completely and I always saw it as uniquely nasty to Jon over all the other kids, but when I reread the series recently her total neglect of Rikkon absolutely stuck out to me. She sorta explains why she treats Jon like crap but what the hell did lil baby Rik do to deserve being ghosted like a lacklustre tinder date? I think, and I could be wrong, that was the beginning of his decent into becoming a wild boy and he coulda really used some parental guidance instead of growing up with a wolf
@@gillriet773 It was her treatment of Rickon that made me hate her even more than her treatment of Jon. I literally had my mouth open when Robb was begging her to take care of her 3 year old boy. I'm a mom! I understand being worried to death about one child, but not neglecting a 3 old. I will never understand that.
I also think Cat secretly knows that Jon is the child of Ned and Ashara Dayne, two things come up in that scenerio. 1) Ashara was prettier then her, from a more noble and famed house then her's. 2) If that is that is the case then there is a strong reason to assume that if that information comes to light Jon could destabilize stuff for her own children. However she doesn't take the time to see what kind of man Jon is. Jon would never ever turn against Rob, he would never ever put himself before Rickon and Bran. The only reason why I imagine he'd have accepted Rob putting him before Sansa is specifically to keep Winterfell from the Lannisters. (That is assuming that Jon and Rob had gotten to see each other one more time.) Also if Jon had actually gotten all the way to Rob after they heard their father had been captured or executed I do not for a single second believe Rob would have let Jon be executed. He'd have protected his brother. (And it'd have made Cat furious.)
@@crazyscotsman9327 I agree with what you said except one thing: Ashara's house might have been famed but no more noble, considering House Tully is one of the greatest houses of Westeros!

Ghost was the first to open his eyes as was Jon. He “heard” a noise that no one else heard. more like he felt Ghost. first to awaken his power or “open his eyes”
I just had the same thought about Jon being the oldest. When he talked to Benjen about joining the Watch he even told him that Maester says that bastards grow faster. Most people take it methaphorically, but it seems more likely that he is in fact simply older than Robb and Maester was covering it up because if Jon was older and he ever got legitimized then he'd inherit Winterfell.
I agree with almost everything in this video but just one thing I think I might be able to explain is that Jon is more serious because of the way cat treated him so he knows that his joy would probably set off her hatred so he tries to keep a low profile and Robb is more outgoing than Jon because of that same thing Cat (I’m assuming) tried to spoil Robb and also being the heir and the eldest of his siblings probably also made him super confident.
So in other words, she was a better "mother" to Jon than to any of her own children! Which is ironic, considering is the same thing as Cersei being a better mother figure to Sansa than to Myrcella!
Whether you’re right or wrong regarding pups opening your eyes, it’s interesting that the uncertainty regarding ghosts age is yet another parallel to Jon.

With woves/canines in general, the one that opens their eyes first will be the one with the most developed or healthiest placenta... connection to the nutrients of their mother. This is usually the first born or the last born, as the ones in the middle tend to get a bit more crowded. I would venture a guess that you are right... and while ghost is the first born, I bet Shaggy was the last... and yet opened his eyes second.
I feel it's Jon both being the oldest and the only one who follows the old gods since Ned raised him while cat raised the other kids with southern ways rather than the north way. Jon did keep the dogs by bringing it up. Jon being a half dragon wouldn't make sense on how he can feel his direwolf the fastest apart bran as he has no signs of it. Jon has been all northern since the beggining and to to the end. Ghost has shown he is the most independent wolf who can return to Jon while the rest are either dead or fully independent like nymeria showing Jon can return to his roots
All Stark kids follow the old gods except for Sanse and well Rickon cuz he's a baby and follows nothing. Ned also raised Jon and Rob together and it's clear he was about to raise Bran too in the Northern way but then he fell and Ned went to King's Landing and we know the rest...
@@aysseralwan Rob is also raised by southern gods which is a catch 22 as they have a sept for cat and her kids would follow in that way as well. That's like believing in God but also worshipping another God which contridcts as thier can only be one thing you believe in.
@@ivanbluecool I'm pretty sure Sansa is the only one that follows the faith of the 7. Rob even was at the heart tree in the Blackwoods' castle with his Northern lords to pray
@@aysseralwan Rob is cats first born. Cat would make sure he knew her gods and cat even prayed to the 7 for Rob. I mean luwin would probably do it since he works for cat not Ned Also that's after the fact the war started. Rob is pretty much doing the same with his northern men as that's part of his religion not the whole thing. Jon meanwhile is the whole thing as I doubt cat would want him to have her gods same as Ned
I disagree that Ghost was much more developed than the rest of the pups - they couldn’t have been born more than an hour or two at most from one another. It’s obvious that Ghost was the 1st to open his eyes - it’s written clear as such in black and white. I think that Jon was able to “hear” Ghost once his eyes opened; that was the moment they bonded.
I would love it if you guys would release a video version of Dave's timeline of the events that happened between the tourney at harrenhall and Ned arriving in winterfell after the war.
Or imagine if Jeor Mormont never went to the Night's Watch and Jon was instead fostered to Bear Island. Honestly, there were many places in the North where Ned could've fostered Jon, 1.) Greywater Watch/Howland Reed (IF the R+L=J theory is correct). 2.) Bear Island/Maege Mormont. 3.) Last Hearth/Greatjon Umber.
@@jasonvazquez8652 Any of those would have worked well. I don't think Howland and Ned were on speaking terms, though. I think that's why we haven't seen Howland yet.
I like this theory that Ghost is the oldest of the pups and so is Jon. It would be interesting if all the wolves went in birth order to the children as well.
20:35 Ghost is white with red eyes... you think he's white because Jon is so light gray? He's white because being Albino makes him like the wierwoods, just like Bloodraven.
Great job as always love you guys, glad that I get to hear back form . Off topic if the tower scene is at WinterFell I don't think Ned ever went to Starfall. He didn't need to Ashara Dayne was there at WinterFell, she would have taken Dawn back with her to let them know what was going on. This is why the Dayne's love Ned so much because of the sacrifices he had to make in order to protect his family. Giving up his true love Ashara to protect Lyanna's children. Those that left the tower events each had a role to play. This could also help with the time it took for all this to happen he was never in Dorne . A ship could been used to go north, or a hard ride. The Tower of Joy is a story made up to cover for the events that happened at WinterFell. Or a replaced memory implanted by Howland Reed to cover up what really happened, the
Rickon could be a Wildling. For all we know, he might miss running free. I just really, really, hope that Sansa doesn't end up with Winterfell. She's had no education in day to day rule. She is learning power politics, but not the nuts and bolts. We've seen what that leads to. Arya was, honestly, far better suited. Arya as Lady would be a big growth realization. She says she's not a lady, but all the time away from her family she thought of them. Sansa did not do so nearly as much. I'd also like Sansa and Jeyne to meet face to face and Jeyne to slap the shit out of her, maybe scratch an eye out. Jeyne has every right to ask for some form of justice given that she and her father would have been out of KL if Sansa kept her mouth shut. I don't expect Bran to survive to the end. I know that supposedly he becomes king, but he'll need to do a hell of a lot more to earn it than he did in the show. The show made no sense. Also, is Bran capable of siring an heir? That's a huge consideration in choosing a monarch that way.
So Catelyn died full of rage & pain, & comes back hell bent on killing Lannisters & Frey’s. Do you think Jon will come back hell bent to take winterfell, cuz that was what he was thinking right before he died.? I can’t shake this feeling that Jon will come back much harsher. Much more stern.
I don't believe Jon is dead. Once the soul leaves the body, even resurrected people lose much of themselves. The Stoneheart is NOT Cat Tully, and Beric Dondarrion admits he lost himself when he died. I think Jon has too much story to lose a big chunk of himself.
@@BurkeanMama I disagree with Stoneheart NOT being Catelyn. Deep down she had always been a bitch, just like Cersei, (and rebelious as Arya as well) but saw herself as a "good Lady" and believing in the Gods. After her resurrection, she realized there were no Gods, no seven heavens or hells. The world is a cold harsh place that doesn't care about virtue, honor or even beauty. She became even more disillusioned and past from a wiser and more matured version of Sansa to a much darker and jaded version of Arya!
I enjoy how these podcasts are bringing some often missed details that readers might gloss over. In fact, I found the passage where it notes the length of Rickon's hair in Bran's chapter.
I feel Ned did love Catelyn. After he gave her specific instructions not to do anything to start a war Winterfell is not ready to fight, that is precisely what she does at the first opportunity. And when Jamie attacked him he backed her play instead of looking as surprised as he must have been and telling Jamie he didn’t know anything about it and he would make sure his brother would be safely released. Now I don’t think he fully trusted her in all areas, because she is not from the North. But she proved unworthy of ultimate trust. He loved her for himself, but his duty to the North transcends that, and she couldn’t be trusted with the safety of his people.
If Winterfell ends up going to Jon and the truth about his parents becomes public knowledge how likely would it be for some old gods worshippers to claim the old gods are more powerful than the Seven?
So I am in the middle of rereading ASOS and I came across something I'm not sure if you've mentioned before( you probably have). When the Brotherhood go up high heart for the 2nd time and hear the ghost's dreams, she describes to Baelon as a kraken, Sansa as a girl with serpents hair, Catelyn as a fish, and Jon as a WOLF not a dragon. Green dreams don't lie
Great podcast guys. Even though Sansa and Jon don't have a relationship when we first meet the characters, Sansa has fond memories of Jon when she's in the Errie and really wants to meet him again
I think Sansa got her wolf last, but more because Lady was the shyest of them and Sansa was more reserved than her siblings, so they naturally drew to each other - Sansa would not have wanted Nymeria, who was more "in your face" like Arya was, Robb would have chosen the classically Stark Grey direwolf, and Rickon would have run in the middle and landed on Shaggy
On the point of Jon being the lightest grey GRRM will write, some of his darker aspects include his temper that is definitely wolfs blood, and how ruthlessly pragmatic he can be in ADWD. The scene with Gilly especially. (I don’t think he could actually bring himself to burn Gilly’s babe, but to even threaten it yikes, but he had too.) Him not keeping his friends close. There are very good reasons for this, and it pisses me off whenever his friends refuse to acknowledge that they put him in a position where he can’t afford to show favoritism. That he has to be seen as distinct. Necessity or not, to command requires some darkness. I think George gave him just enough to ensure he could be an excellent commander
The 23:45 mark reminds me of a slide in one of your 'Why Catelyn Sucks' videos that depicts Cat staring down at Jon from the ramparts thinking, "why are you better looking than my kids". To this day that still makes me laugh😅. But on a serious note, speaking to Jon's destiny...it's my hope that because the original outline had Jon briefly reconnecting with Catelyn, I'm hoping that still happens in some capacity. Can't say why Jon reconnecting with a difficult person from his past and having to work w/that person appeals to me, but it does. I wouldn't even mind if it was Theon. Ok, I listened to the whole video. If Ghost is older by a few weeks or months where does he come from? As far as I know all puppies from one litter are born at the same time. And I doubt the female wolf somehow got pregnant and gave birth that quickly to only Ghost. You do have a point that Ghost is more mature, but so is Jon, because he is a bastard.
@@looverse2023 ok, but as far as I know, being the first pup born won't result in that much of a development difference. It's also obvious Ghost isn't older enough to be from a different litter of this dire wolf
@@looverse2023 Could be. So this female dire wolf adopted another pup weeks before giving birth to her own litter? Sure, possible but seems unlikely. I guess the main thing to me is that they didn't address this in the video. Just how could Ghost be older by a few weeks or maybe months?
I just want to mention since the Roy Dotrice audiobooks were brought up, if you haven't listened to DavidReadsASoIaF you're missing out. His narrations are more often than not so much better than Dotrice, especially the last two where he is noticeably old and makes Dany sound ridiculous.

I am curious as to your opionion on if Jon could have actually been the reason Bran lives. Last time I was going through the chapter where jon goes to see Bran before leaving for the wall. He thinks to himself if I dont see him I'll never see him again. And then before leaving he kissed him on the lips making me think of the fiery kiss I dont think he fire whited him or anything but very well could have given him some type of protection or energy it could be nothing but seems like Jon felt with out him going Bran would die. But by going he could see Bran potentially again maybe I miss heard it listening to the audio book . But then we are given this horrific description of like a harpy Catelyn sitting there like sucking the life out of Bran. Catelyn has also looked to have aged 20 years Jon's just like shit. I am saving my bro this thing wont force me out before I've done what I need to.
I think Robb named Catlyn as hair. You know when she thinks of a trap. Then Robb said it must be one who konws the north and the riverlands. There is only one person and thats Cat
Sansa wasn’t horrible to Jon all the time We do get this “That’s pretty.” He remembered Sansa telling him once that he should say that whenever a lady told him her name So they probably had friendly interactions just off screen ( off page?)
she wasn’t explicitly hatful towards him, but it is mentioned that she referred to him as half-brother since she was old enough to know what that meant. Which probably means she saw him as beneath her, which kinda works with her character.
i totally agree on the connection between ghost and John being the oldest, but i think your reaching with the wolf development theory, it would of meant that GRRM studied it, i may be wrong, just a thought
In the book, while describing Jons pups eyes as red, it does say the other pups' eyes were gray...so evidently their eyes were open. How would they know their eyes were gray if they weren't open?
How much time does it takes to birth wolves? if Ghost was born first, how much older can he be from his siblings? How much time does it take to a wolf to open its eyes?
Jon getting together with Ingrid does not make him a good person with a gray story in my mind. Him being able to see the wildlings as people instead of just the enemy shows how caring and compassionate he is down to the core. I, personally, value this more than to blindly follow rules and directions, without ever questioning if there are really good intentions behind them, just because you have been told that this is the right and good thing to do.
I don't know exactly what you mean by older. It seems it was all the same litter. Maybe ghost was the 1st born, But I don't know if that makes him older. If twins are born do you consider the 1st one out older?
The first pup may open their eyes first but getting up and getting away from the mother is a different story. That has more to do with strength of the pup and the fight to get milk and develop faster. It really makes more since to me this pup came from another letter most likely from another mother.
So bastards learn to do things much earlier simply because they're bastards? Hmm.. My older sister is technically a bastard.. I wonder if she began talking sooner than my younger sister who wasn't a bastard..
@@thisguy8106 In Westeros bastards don't have an obvious place in society, where trueorn highborn children will either inherit lands or their parents will arrange a marriage for them. Bastards being forced to find answers to the question "What will I do in my life" by themselves might contribute to them maturing more quickly, because they are forced to think about such questions.
This is answered in Book 5 where Tyrion discovers a blue haired boy named Young Griff, and is being guarded by Jon Connington, a former Kingsguard of Rhaegar's, and a personal Septa to tutor him. During a storm on the ship they were on, his blue dye washes out to reveal Targayen blonde hair, he already had the purple eyes. Tyrion quickly figures out that this teen boy is Aegon Targayen.
Maybe ghost wasn't from this litter. Maybe he was an orphan from another mother that followed her. I mean if he was from this litter there could only be a few hours different unless im being to literal.
I see what you're saying, but I'm more persuaded that Ghost has his eyes open because Bloodraven needs a conduit on the scene since momma died and that an albino direwolf, even if newborn, is better to warg than some pine tree. Bloodraven opened the pup's eyes.
Thinking further, in my opinion the story is better if Jon is the younger brother. His primacy comes from being heir to the Iron Throne, not the heir to Winterfell. Winterfell is just something he'd have to delegate and that would demean the importance of the position.
Another clue that Jon was born before Rob is Maester Luwin who says that bastards grow faster than other children. Jon is the wolf of dawn, king of the north I think Rickon is more powerful than Bran, he was already going to the crypts before Rob marches south and his wolf responds to the boy's instincts, just like Jon and ghost. greetings!
I think you are falling short in your analysis of Catelyn... as she is half a fish and half a bat... Her mom was a Whent (sp?) I don't think I've every heard you bring it up...

@@Richard_Nickerson what if the northmen and the brothers of the nights watch don’t buy it either? They’re not necessarily Jon fans like we as readers are. @@Richard_Nickerson that’s assuming those who killed him and wanted him dead stay in power at the wall. Either way, would Jon, being the honorable guy we know he is, actually leave? Would he take advantage of the loophole? He left once briefly but came back and reaffirmed his vows. He’s also offered the chance to be Jon Stark and lord of winterfell by Stannis but doesn’t take it. He seems pretty dedicated to the watch. On a different note, GRRM doesn’t often give characters exactly what they’ve always wanted. Jon ending up as lord or king in the north seems like wishful thinking. The story isn’t lord of the rings after all.
Robb's Last Will and Testament (carried by Maege Mormont) legitimizes Jon Snow as Jon Stark, releases him from his oaths to the Night's Watch on account of being the last male of the mainline Starks and claims Jon as his heir as King in the North. Kings have the power to release any longterm binding oaths within their domain. Otherwise, Stannis would not have offered it to Jon and Tywin wouldn't have remained hopeful that Jaime would be released from the Kingsguard to become the next Lord of Casterly Rock or did you assume he loaned shit-tons of gold to Robert out of deep love and concern for his daughter's wellfare? Even Ned assumes Jaime will sooner or later become Tywin's heir again, so it would work.
I'm sorry wait that reading of Ghost's eyes I think is way more complicated than it needs to be. The wolves are clearly meant to foreshadow or symbolize the struggles that each child goes through or is going through. Ghost's eyes being open, in addition to being the runt of the litter and being found far from his mother, are clearly meant to symbolize Jon's bastardy. Jon is the only Stark child who knows, or at least is learning, how the world works because he himself is a bastard, and is not accepted by Cat. His eyes were opened to the world long before the others were. That to me is the only important significance of Ghost's eyes opening first. Additionally, what would be the point in Jon being revealed to be the oldest? I struggle to see how it means anything significant to the plot.
I just can't believe you guys still think Jon is Ned's biological son. I think it's more than obvious at this point that he's Rhaegar's. I know the show went it's own direction but I remember George asking D&D who Jon's mother was before agreeing to do the show. They clearly said Lyanna right? It's in their show.
George may have just been testing them to see if they had any real interest in the material. I personally lean more towards Lyanna being right but would absolutely love it if it were Ashara.
The timeline of Ned's movements is that he arrived at King's Landing while it was being sacked, got things calm and held until Robert arrived, got into a big fight with Robert about dead babies, then got sent to Storm's End to end the siege, and soon after, found Lyanna dying in childbed, right? But according to the author, Jon was born right around the time of the sacking of King's Landing, not at least a month later. So do you believe Ned can time travel at will, or that he teleported to Lyanna for a few minutes while he was trying to hold the Red Keep (and in neither case did anyone notice the magic or his sudden procurement of a newborn)?
Seems fitting that Jon's wolf was away from it's mother. 🥺
Very sad.

Jon being the oldest of Ned's children is proven to be true when you look at the timeline of Robert's Rebellion:
If Jon is 8-9 months older than Daenerys then that means Jon was born around the Sack of King's Landing, as Dany was conceived shortly after the Battle of the Trident.
Robb was conceived on Ned and Cat's wedding night, which happened after the Battle of the Bells and before the Battle of the Trident.

‘Wolf pups in the summer snow’ but there wasn’t any snow….first clue that D&D were gonna screw up the show! 🤣🤣🤷🏼♀️
I always took the Arya seen of Nymeria not wanting to perform in front of John, which is common in kids & pets.
Been thinking Jon is the oldest for a while. Good to know I’m not the only one who thinks that.
I mean luwin would probably do it since he works for cat not Ned
Also that's after the fact the war started. Stannis for example is balancing both sides of his army of king's men Queen's men and northern men by not burning people disrespecting the dead. Rob is pretty much doing the same with his northern men as that's part of his religion not the whole thing. Jon meanwhile is the whole thing as I doubt cat would want him to have her gods same as Ned
Except Bloodraven is also Targaryen and is easily the strongest warg/greenseer up until he teaches Bran.
You should read the scene again. Robb KEPT the first one. He held it and let Bran pet it but JON says here is another and gave one to Bran!
It was at goldstone's where Catelyn argued over Jon being the heir.
Makes you wonder. If Ned has fostered Jon out to one of the northern lords, maybe the Cerwyns, how much happier would Ned and Cats marriage been...?
Or imagine if Jeor Mormont never went to the Night's Watch and Jon was instead fostered to Bear Island. Honestly, there were many places in the North where Ned could've fostered Jon,
1.) Greywater Watch/Howland Reed (IF the R+L=J theory is correct).
Each of the older kids had their wolves well trained, even Sansa. But Robb also had Grey Wind well trained.
20:35
Ghost is white with red eyes... you think he's white because Jon is so light gray?
Or a replaced memory implanted by Howland Reed to cover up what really happened, the
Maybe Jon will rule the north, Rickon will be at the nights watch, Bran the Greenseher. I just don‘t know what Arya’s and Sansa’s destiny is.
Great to be back in the Wolf's Den.
That didn't happen to Beric Dondarrion though
I recall reading that there's a symbiotic relationship between ravens and wolves. Any chance you draw some symbolism from this study?
I enjoy how these podcasts are bringing some often missed details that readers might gloss over. In fact, I found the passage where it notes the length of Rickon's hair in Bran's chapter.
Do you guys post your podcasts on Spotify by chance? Love all of yoyr theories, you guys made me believe R+L=A and I now 100% believe N+A=Jon Stark!
This is absolutely fantastic content . . . makes the wait for TWOW a lot more bearable.
First and foremost. Good to see you in here. Hope all is well. And great point
@@TheOrderoftheGreenhand ❤️ I was in a hole for a while.. but I'm back! Thank you for the warm welcome back!
You’re always welcome at the wolf’s den
he's both
Great podcast guys.
I just know I anticipate the potential plotline🤷♀️.
I would love to see cat give Jon the kiss of Life giving some redemption to the worst mother in westeros..
@@sageofthemysticmist2199 It would have to be if he dies again towards the end. I think Mel will resurrect Jon in short order in Winds. I think the "others" are there when they get the wolves. the sudden cold snow and pups born with the dead
Probably older like Cersei is older than Jamie
@@looverse2023 ok, but as far as I know, being the first pup born won't result in that much of a development difference. It's also obvious Ghost isn't older enough to be from a different litter of this dire wolf

@@looverse2023 Could be. So this female dire wolf adopted another pup weeks before giving birth to her own litter? Sure, possible but seems unlikely. I guess the main thing to me is that they didn't address this in the video. Just how could Ghost be older by a few weeks or maybe months?
My reign is just begun 🔥🐲
Ghost does hijack Jon’s hunger when he comes back when Jon is considering Stannis’s offer of winterfell
Maybe Ghost did it that way
I just want to mention since the Roy Dotrice audiobooks were brought up, if you haven't listened to DavidReadsASoIaF you're missing out. His narrations are more often than not so much better than Dotrice, especially the last two where he is noticeably old and makes Dany sound ridiculous.
Yeah hes wonderful, I'm very greatfull that he read those books. I listen to him nearly every night to get to sleep.
So, maybe Ghost has a different mother than the other direwolves? Perhaps, they share the same father...
More like same mother and two different fathers because the mother dire wolf is ned
I think Zombie Cat will end up helping Jon. That’s her way of apologizing. Something on that order.
Euron is Bloodraven's skinchanging suit.
Yeah the first born pup doesn’t always open its eyes first. I mean maybe it’s more common but that’s not how it works
And Jon and his siblings aren’t from the same litter.
Do you guys have any plans to do an OG Greenhand theory video soon? 💚✋🏻
Finally convenient time! Video arrived for me at 10pm, and not amidst the night! 🥳 always a problem to live in Belarus, when favourite content creators have America’s time zones or something similar 😅
It's not easy being Green Hand...
Honestly, I don't think Catelyn loved Ned at all. I believe she sees her marriage to Ned, and all that entails, as her highborn duty.
Light light gray = maybe silver… nah closer to platinum ( described as metallic, tint of pale-grayish white ). That might be the best description that I can come up with. Specially as he also has a mature strength of character
You said he Ghost didn’t have any senses, but it’s really only they can’t see…all the other senses work…and I thought Ghost’s eyes were open because of Bloodraven…
But a wolf litter are always bien on the same day, not more than a couple of hours apart, unless it's not from the same litter...
At 25'00, Jon was taller than Robb, but Robb was a bit beefier, at least right before they left home.
All roads lead to #catelynsucks 😂
I think Robb named Catlyn as hair. You know when she thinks of a trap. Then Robb said it must be one who konws the north and the riverlands. There is only one person and thats Cat
i think jon wolf having his eyes open was like symbolizm because jon is a bastard at this point only he knows how unfair the world is
Sansa wasn’t horrible to Jon all the time
We do get this
“That’s pretty.” He remembered Sansa telling him once that he should say that whenever a lady told him her name
So they probably had friendly interactions just off screen ( off page?)
she wasn’t explicitly hatful towards him, but it is mentioned that she referred to him as half-brother since she was old enough to know what that meant. Which probably means she saw him as beneath her, which kinda works with her character.
Great work as always Mi Lady and Mi Lord! Keep it up =)
Can´t wait until the next live stream =)
i totally agree on the connection between ghost and John being the oldest, but i think your reaching with the wolf development theory, it would of meant that GRRM studied it, i may be wrong, just a thought
Green Hand!!!!!!!
Great podcast #TOOTGH.❤️🥰
In the book, while describing Jons pups eyes as red, it does say the other pups' eyes were gray...so evidently their eyes were open. How would they know their eyes were gray if they weren't open?
The other pups are grey, except Shaggydog, who is black. They all have yellow eyes except Shaggydog, who has green eyes
How much time does it takes to birth wolves? if Ghost was born first, how much older can he be from his siblings?
How much time does it take to a wolf to open its eyes?
Love you guys
If Jon is Lyannas son I think Ned loved Catelyn a lot!
OOTGH !!!!!!
Maybe ghost just stepped on a leaf or something
Why are all the live streams gone???
I don't know exactly what you mean by older. It seems it was all the same litter. Maybe ghost was the 1st born, But I don't know if that makes him older. If twins are born do you consider the 1st one out older?
Katlyn sees John as a Renly and not a Stannis
So someone put the pup there and ladies death was a sacrifice to heal bran.
Can ya do one on eddrick storm!!!!
How's FL going? Hugs guys 🙂
If Cat cares about Ned why did she try to have him clipped?
Yo! Who did John replace? Who was Mormonts squire befor John get to the wall? Did benjin lie to get him there? Wtf why was John at the wall at all?
The first pup may open their eyes first but getting up and getting away from the mother is a different story. That has more to do with strength of the pup and the fight to get milk and develop faster. It really makes more since to me this pup came from another letter most likely from another mother.
I agree with the R + L = J theory, but I think Jon is more mature because “bastards grow up faster”
So bastards learn to do things much earlier simply because they're bastards?
Hmm.. My older sister is technically a bastard.. I wonder if she began talking sooner than my younger sister who wasn't a bastard..
@@thisguy8106 that’s something that gets repeated by Jon and others in the books.
If N+A=J then who does R+L=?
This is answered in Book 5 where Tyrion discovers a blue haired boy named Young Griff, and is being guarded by Jon Connington, a former Kingsguard of Rhaegar's, and a personal Septa to tutor him. During a storm on the ship they were on, his blue dye washes out to reveal Targayen blonde hair, he already had the purple eyes. Tyrion quickly figures out that this teen boy is Aegon Targayen.
When do you guys think Jon was conceived?
We know you're not kidding ahaha
Maybe ghost wasn't from this litter. Maybe he was an orphan from another mother that followed her. I mean if he was from this litter there could only be a few hours different unless im being to literal.
It's maybe just me but I never really trusted jojen it's always seem to me he was being mislead and he's creepy
I would research albinos and the likelihood of them in litters.
Destiny is all.
Jon is the wolf of dawn, king of the north
I think Rickon is more powerful than Bran, he was already going to the crypts before Rob marches south and his wolf responds to the boy's instincts, just like Jon and ghost.
greetings!
That Luwin line is actually proof of the opposite

Ned should have told katlyn the truth from the beginning and this would have avoided a lot of stress
He didn’t promise not to say anything
I see Ghost as a confirmation of R+L=J theory.
Jon having a direwolf that looks like a weirwood confirms that he’s a Targaryen?
Jon never has dragon dreams though. Dany does. Jon only dreams of Winterfell, the Stark tombs, of winter and the North.
All the Stark children are Baelish’s.
How is Jon supposed to become lord of winterfell or king in the north if he’s a sworn brother of the nights watch? And I dont buy the idea that him dying and being resurrected would release him from his vows. Any thoughts?
Dying would literally relinquish him though, so it doesn't matter that you don't personally "buy" it.
@@Richard_Nickerson what if the northmen and the brothers of the nights watch don’t buy it either? They’re not necessarily Jon fans like we as readers are. And would the the northern lords even believe that Jon died and was resurrected? I think they might be skeptical. There aren’t exactly iPhones in their world they can use to video record and document what happened to use as proof.
@@jaeyrhin6321
And you don't think not being fans of his, you don't think disliking him so much that they kill him, would lead to them letting him leave? You don't think they'd take the opportunity to get rid of him? They dislike him so much they'd make him stay with them?
Logic isn't your strong suit, is it?
@@jt5765 Possibly, but I think all the evidence points to Lyanna as well
@@frankl3518 Not really, it points to Ashara. While Lyanna is Faegon mom. We will maybe have a confirmation when WOW will finally out.
Lol
