rotarys can flow air for fun (and suck fuel) so are only limited by turbo size really, bit like the honda k but less mpg. They could go alot further than 9's if the chassis can handle it, but if it stays a road car 10.5 index would be a real sweet spot for this deal IMHO. and fun without breaking the driveline every other pass. EDIT weak link being the gearbox.

I'm Puertorican born and raise and this build is so representative of Puertorican car culture that if you go out on a saturday or a sunday anywhere in the island you would find a build like this, beautyfull props to Wyatt with this build attention to detail is off the chart. Same here in aus, easiest way to make power and still be light. My mate has a 87 4x4 hilux that was 12a swapped and was hilarious on the tracks till he switched to a holden 5litre

Sick Wyatt!! Brings back fond memories! A high school buddy of mine had a 72 cream-colored Corolla and we early morning Rally-Raced that thing on a paper route he had. We took turns driving and the passenger was the "delivery guy", chucking huge sundae papers from the window and over the roof as fast as he could! We had a score card for the start/end times and a landing spot grade for each house...lol if we had a 500 hp13b in there we would have woken up the whole dam Neiborhood but had a much better time slip...😂

For the janky window seal you can actually cut the rubber on a 45° angle and super glue the pieces together to get a nice 90° angle out of it.

This is a great little car! Had many of these about 30 years ago. It will need bigger brakes and some suspension work for 600hp!
I had a 4agze in one that’s the 1.6 twin cam supercharged, intercooler and aftermarket bigger crank pulley. About 200hp and it was pretty much undriveable in the wet, no traction and do 180’s if you were not careful.
Can’t wait to see it at sick week. Keep up the good work

Remember my dad bought one of these in 1999 for 700$, think it was an 1980 model, was like new inside and out. Couldn’t keep wheel bearings in the front of it though for some reason. I liked it, it was fun to drive, little 4 speed.

In South Africa where I’m from this car is big in car culture we normally put Toyota twincam 1.6 stoked to 1.9 piston rod motor and straight into 9s or duel beamz N/A or turbo

I've said it before and I'll say it again the addition of Wyatt to the channel was an amazing decision. He does great work and seems to have a ton of knowledge. Plus it seems like him and Kyle are able to work together very well and the two of them have stepped the quality of the channel and cars up so much together (coming from someone who's been around since the Colorado house with Charlie and Hayden)

I remember those Corolla‘s a buddy of mine had a black one dropped it down rolled the fenders, put some white 15 inch wheels under it. It was like an overgrown shifter kart. It would be awesome to see Wyatt do that knowing you guys you’ll probably K swap it but it would be nice to see a good hot nostalgic 20R or 22R built and dropped in it with a five speed put you on a GT 35 China turbo and have a blast.

Love the Corolla Wyatt..can recommend you look up the purple GRIMAS Corolla from Pac Performance in Australia years ago.Its still a street car and resides in Adelaide South Australia.Its 13bt powered and great inspiration for your beast.Good luck on the build and SICK WEEK!
