I got this Monitor yesterday and so far im really happy with it. My first experience with iiyama was during work, where i use their very big smart touch displays and i was stunned by the build quality and how good their support was. @@jeremyb5862 hi! well im still using it as my main display and never had any problems with it other than some AMD Freesync stuff. But that was most likely caused by the GPU not the Display.

I had a little iiyama monitor when I first started pc gaming and it was great. This could be the next monitor for me. Looks really good and for the money it sounds like a great deal.
I just got this monitor from CCL for £255 and it is so nice. Colour definition is amazing, everything looks so crisp and professional. It does have IPS glow but it is very even and I kind of like it in a weird way, it gives it a shimmer effect. So much better than my old samsung 24 inch 1080p 60hz monitor (must be like 10 year old)
The shot of the red screen at around 6:09 kinda makes me worried about the panel's consistency (or whatever you would like to call it)...there's some quite pronounced rounded shadows visible mostly in the corners. Nothing like that is seen on the following green screen, though there's also some corner shadows on the previous full white screen. I wonder if it's just something that came out in the camera, or if there is a real issue like this.
@@BoxCoUk Thanks for the reply! I got a great short-time deal on the monitor, so I went ahead and I'm looking at it right now. The corners and sides do suffer a bit from brightness degradation due to somewhat worse viewing angles, at least compared to my previous Dell monitor, but it's indeed nowhere near as pronounced as the shot in question might make one believe. Thank you for the review, it certainly helped when deciding!
I've heard that this is the only model with true IPS 8 bit color support, is this true? I've heard that iiyama using AHVA IPS above 165 Hz with true 8 Bit color support where rest models are usung 8 bits (6 bits + FRC) which can stop users like me from buying them. Can you tell if this model trully support true 8 bit color and using IPS? Also would be nice to know such things when you testing monitors as it's been in your hands and you can run all test not just telling us 'Colors are nice'.
