My partner and I are playing on PC (4k Native - 70-90fps), but honestly, the game looks incredible no matter what you play it on. I'm really surprised at how great the PS5 visuals look, even on the performance mode. You can definitely tell the difference between PS5 and PC due to the increased graphics settings, stable resolution and better framerate, but there really isn't that much in it for regular gamers.
@@modernggs4248 Seeing as both versions are so well optimised, I really don't think there is much in it. However, I will say that this game looks amazing on a 4k OLEDTV (that's what I have my computer plugged into), so even if you do end up getting it on PC, I would still see how it runs at 4k native with a few of the settings turned down before switching to a 1440p high refresh monitor (if you have one). It will look better than the PS5 at 4k (or even 1440p max settings), but you will need to mess with settings a lot more to eliminate tearing if you decide to cap at 60fps 4k. I can confirm that it runs like a dream on my partner's 3070, so you shouldn't have to drop many settings on a 2080 super to get similar performance.

@@cl587 yeah all my friends on high end PCs are disabling shadows from ultra to high and it gains 8-11 fps on avg...to all pc player I would recommend high shadows to get a better lock of fps.
I don't know about pc tbh. I've recently come over to pc and it's better objectively in almost everyway except 2 issues. One of those issues is bad hdr implementation which will probably be an issue here aswell, and the other being lazy optimisation. Death loop is my case and point there is no way a ps5 should be getting better performance than my 3070 build the game needs a patch like yesterday and because its amd all over the marketing we won't get dlss support which is exactly what it needs.
I was playing this game with rtx 3080 at 4k. The game was using only 65-75% all maxed out. PS5 should be running this at 4k@60fps or may be rtx 3080 is seriously more powerful.
I dont get why console is always missing sharpness that pc has. Surely the console has enough power. My pc cost over two grand and barely beats the 399 ps5 so its not worth the expense, noise, heat and trouble with updates and drivers which take up a lot of game time.

@@brewski535 I agree in competitive games, but idk why you would need 90+ fps in a game like this. I would rather take a higher resolution at that point.
@@runterranger7398 @Runter Ranger there are a couple of reasons why I personally go for more frames even in non-competitive games: The first is obviously because 11.1ms is better than 16.7ms. It feels 33% better to play. When I go back to 60fps it just feels sluggish, everything is relative though of course. The second reason is that around 90fps upwards means that frametime swings are harder to notice, which means fps caps aren't needed and you can let the GPU scale up and down freely. This means less performance is wasted, you get the maximum out of the GPU all the time. Being bound by frames is better than being bound by resolution when it comes to efficiency (remember most games on PC don't have really good DRS implementations like consoles). Finally, TAA smearing/ghosting as well as LCD motion blur is ameliorated the higher the fps you have. My point here is that image quality is not determined by static resolution, it's mainly temporal in a game. So whenever your character is moving, whether that's is a competitive fight or slowly wandering through a forest, temporal resolution is just as important. Of course though it's all about balance and if you can get those fps at a good resolution in the first place. At the end of the day it comes down to personal preference. Would you rather take 4k 60 or 1440p 120? And then it changes depending on whether you are using a 1440p monitor or a 4k tv. For me, 1440p is enough for me and resolutions over 1440p don't look much better on a 1440p monitor, diminishing returns. I can notice the difference in FPS much easier, especially in games with good temporal reconstruction like UE4 games.

I'm debating on getting it on my Ps5 hooked up to an oled TV or download on my i9 9900 2080 super . What do you think?
@@JustS0meK1dd thank you for the detailed response! Yeah I wish I had a 4k monitor because I'd 100% just buy PC . @@modernggs4248 The Haptic feedback is definitely a really nice feature, so if you don't have a 4k monitor or TV near your setup and are fine with 60fps id say to go for the PS5 version (not something you often hear from a PC builder :P). I actually have Deathloop on PC and to be honest, I really can't recommend it (right now). There are a lot of performance issues on PC, and you are locked to 60fps if you don't want micro stutters. However, I'd still say it is a better experience than PS5 overall, but only slightly. If you are streaming then PC is the only way to go I guess. Good game though!

Why PS5 in performance is at 30fps? Shouldn't be at 60fps? I mean, is performance.
Music name ?
Why all consoles can't handle full high quality shadow? What could happen, 1 frame less???
It could be more than 5 fps less. And consoles have bandwidth limitation, it could affect the performance adding stuttering
But I'm pretty sure that Ps5 is capable of using better Shadow on the game they probably are making that because they want to be sure that it runs on a solid fps and shadow are not really that important even on PC something they use medium to low quality shadows to have more fps for me is more important textures
Shadows are the most fps taxing setting. Also, max shadows may add stutters in some games even on the best PC.

Game has a Dynamic 4K 60 fps mode dude relax
Even 60fps is the bare minimum in my view, I don't play games at below 90fps nowadays.
@@brewski535 I agree in competitive games, but idk why you would need 90+ fps in a game like this. I would rather take a higher resolution at that point.
@@runterranger7398 @Runter Ranger there are a couple of reasons why I personally go for more frames even in non-competitive games:
The first is obviously because 11.1ms is better than 16.7ms.
