- The PC version allows us to adjust FOV, achieving a larger field of view with respect to the console version.
- The game includes the possibility of using IGTI (Insomniac Games Temporal Injection), the same temporal reconstruction technique used in the PS5 version. However, the results are inferior to those offered by DLSS or FSR 2.0.
- Ray Tracing has some inconsistencies in the PC version. Some geometries are not displayed correctly and reflections have more noise than in the PS5 version. During the last few days, Nixxes has dedicated updates to RT, so I do not rule out that these bugs will be fixed in the future.
- FSR 2.0 is a substantial improvement over version 1.0, but still lags behind DLSS in terms of visual quality. This is most noticeable in performance and ultra performance modes.

You know revenue models for a console and PC are different. Also PC's aren't solely used for gaming. Plus PC gaming in my opinion is just better. More customization, better sales, and you can use whatever settings and resolution you'd like. I actually prefer the character design of PS4 version more, it looks more video gamey if I do say so my self.
Also the use of cubic maps ans screen spaces reflections are not half bad considering the amount of RAM of the console.

PC RT is noisier, but draws far more distance than PS5 and with more detail. I'm sure Nixxes software will take care of noise with denoiser filter.

The PS5 Fidelity mode now runs at 40fps ion a 120hz screen and runs between 45-70fps if you turn on VRR on a 120hz screen.
This video shows 30fps, why?
Because most people for some reason forget the vrr mode exists. The pc version is barely an upgrade at all over the vrr fidelity mode on ps5

Probably because it doesn't work on half the screens out there. Mostly monitors. Screen flickering after about 5 mins. Asus LG are confirmed to have this problem on alot of their HDMI 2.1 monitors. Its either a PS5 issue or insomniac issue neither have addressed it. Asus has.

The raytraced reflections on pc are a mess, jaggy and aliased. Ps5 is the best version
PC version has a broken implementation of RT in this version. A patch has already been issued that fixes this. IGN did a performance review of this version and talked about this patch
Wow, FSR 2.0 really makes a difference. I'm surprised about the results and how well is compared to DLSS. IGTI is a good option, but dlss and fsr 2 are clearly better.

@@donkeyy8331 Well of course it hits a solid 1080p 30fps. Thats what their target was during development. The game was originally intended for PS4 only so much of the game was built solely around PS4 hardware only with their target of 30fps at 1080p. They knew likely what they were aiming for pretty early in development so tailoring everything to fit inside that 30fps target was what was done. Anything that would cause too many dips below the target would of been cut or optimized until they got the performance they wanted

At 2:11, the ray-tracing on PC doesn't look right. It's too sharp and jittery. It appears to be missing a smoothing filter or anti-aliasing that the PS5 version has.

IGN's performance review stated that late into their review IG released a patch fixing several visual issues with the PC version, namely ray tracing and other reflections. There will be another day one patch for the game as well, so this video is not very indicative of final game performance.

I really like how the PS4 version handled its limitations. It looks pretty good. Some things actually look better blurred than in high fidelity.
in PS5 fidelity mode compared to PC with everything on ultra there is no difference, but when you put PS5 RT Performance I noticed a slight increase in Draw distance

Thats Insomniac games Temporal Injection , basically theyr own "in house" upscalling tehnique.
u can see clearly the diff vs pc if u look closely even on the glass or or the distant objects.
they are less blurry on the pc and exibit a little more detail.

PC version has bugged RT reflections. This issue has already been addressed and will be fixed before the game launches officially
Tus videos están bastante top, pero si me permites una pequeña sugerencia, estaría bien que subieses los videos con timeline fraccionado indicando lo que se analiza en esta fracción. I' tired really hard but there is very little difference between the PS5 perfomance mode/Quality mode in comparison to the PC Max Settings,the only obvious difference that i can see is the reflection quality is much noisier in PC for some reason,slightly higher draw distance and the PC version being noticabely brighter in contrast(?)

@@geetargato The same was true of the PS3 except for the fact that it was extremely difficult to program for. So many games not only looked worse but performed like crap. It wasn't until the end of the generation that games looked identical on PS3 and 360 and even then the 360 often boasted better performance. Yes the exclusives towards the end looked great and better than some multiplat games but those were solely developed for the PS3 and it was after devs figured out that using SPUs and other strange quirks of the PS3's hardware
Es cierto que ps5 y pc se ven brutales, pero algunas decisiones artisticas de la de ps4 son bastante buenas. Aun no puedo creer que ps4 pudiera con un juego así de grande.

habría que ver que ssd tiene la maquina del analista. Ya de por si es dificil igualar las velocidades de lectura de las consolas nuevas por los algoritmos de compresion propietarios que tienen. por mas que la PC tenga un ssd mas veloz, puede llegar a perder en tiempos de carga
Si pero es muy admirable el buen port de Pc también, igual me imagino que el nvme que utilizo sería un 980 pro o uno similar de 7GB o más de lectura
Made for PS5 and the integrated I/O is likely being used properly compared to most games.
The SSD optimisation for the PS5 version would likely go over to PC without much trouble but without an integrated I/O PC will never reach the SSD streaming speeds of PS5.

@@elijnr 1st thing , in order to play SPIDERMAN REMASTERED on PS5 , you need to buy SPIDERMAN MILES MORALES ULTIMATE EDITION ( PS5 ) , you can't buy it separately, it's locked with ultimate edition , if you buy DISC version of ULTIMATE EDITION then it will have MILES MORALES in DISC & SPIDERMAN REMASTERED as a CODE that you'll have to redeem in your playstation account & SPIDERMAN REMASTERED on PS5 was launched alongside MILES MORALES in 2020 , hope this answers your question 👍

Fidelity mode with vrr is actually 4k 45-70 99% of the time

I believe it has to do with the recording hardware used. None of them have HDMI 2.1 so they can't capture 4K 120hz footage. So he likely just compromised and did the standard 4K 60hz capture that's compatible with his recording hardware
RT on PC looks super unstable wtf?
- Ray Tracing has some inconsistencies in the PC version. Some geometries are not displayed correctly and reflections have more noise than in the PS5 version. During the last few days, Nixxes has dedicated updates to RT, so I do not rule out that these bugs will be fixed in the future

Por que no es Ray Tracing en su capacidad al 100%, meten trucos para que sea mas liviano. Recuerdo que BF5 en su salida los reflejos eran casi como espejos, pero desde que metieron parches para "optimizar" le metieron ruido al Ray Tracing.
No usan el "RTX Denoiser" correctamente, seguramente porque usen la API para que las gráficas AMD funcionen. Por eso las demos de Nvidia funcionan y se ven tan bien, porque están optimizadas para Nvidia.
PS5 es una sola plataforma, ahí usan todo bien. Aunque lo que cabe preguntarse es a cuánto por debajo del precio de mercado venden sus PS5...

Nope. The RT is bugged on PC leading to the issues with RT shown here. The issue has already been resolved with a patch that will be launched before the game releases fixing these broken things in the RT. With it fixed the RT is already much better on PC

I disagree. It looks far too blue. The global illumination probes are doing a much better job in that version. After all light reflects off of everything and GI takes care of the color light reflects when it bounces off of something

No it isn't. What is happening here is that certain things like performance and RT were broken on PC. This has already been addressed in a patch that will be released before the game launches. The RT with the fixes looks much better on PC with more objects in the reflections and higher resolution reflections. The PS5 is a mid range PC and it's not going to budge from that position. It is not equal or better than the PC being shown off here, it is pretty clearly worse as shown in literally every game.

Let's be honest console fanboys, PS5's hardware are generally those of medium tier PC, thus it performs very similar to somewhere between medium and high on PC settings. Check the reflection of glass curtain walls, that already tells every difference. But I know, at the price of $499, PS5 is unbeatable to purchase such finished bundle of hardware.
