      @@NotebookcheckReviews thanks I love it. Performance isnt the best, for example it can't maintain a 60fps in cyberpunk regardless of settings and theres something broken with Spiderman on Nvidia mobile gpus but otherwise it's great

    My Razer Blade 14 is much, much louder than the audio test areas you have. My fan is almost constantly on (even now, even though my rig is cool at 35 degrees and I'll I'm doing is watching YT videos). It's loud enough that others can hear it in a different room. On the flip side I don't know what dB of my laptop is, and my previous experience with laptops were Macs (e.g Powerbook Pro), which were much, much quieter than my Razer Blade 14.
    I tried to switch some of the settings in Synapse to chill the fan noise - but it doesn't seem to do anything - even if I set it to "silent". No silent here, just fan noise.

    • @NotebookcheckReviews
      @NotebookcheckReviews  Рік тому +3

      Interesting since this does not match our experience with our review unit. Maybe there is a firmware or synapse update that could help?

    This thing would be perfect if it had at least 32gb of ram and better display brightness also maybe 16:10 ? ....

    • @NotebookcheckReviews
      @NotebookcheckReviews  2 роки тому +1

      I dont care too much about 16:10 and brightness was alright for me. But I agree, that 16GB is not enough if you can not upgrade yourself.

    (Forgot it is English here. Now translated below.)
    In view of Matthew Moniz's test, previously I doubted NBC's noise values but the noise samples are overwhelmingly good. Apparently, with greater variation in the settings of modes, one can enforce higher noise values. On the other hand, one can, like NBC, do the opposite and enforce an in fact low noise.
    With such values up to 42.1 dB under load in Balanced, I would buy the notebook immediately if the following was given: display ratio 1.6 = 16:10 or smaller, (without rip-off an option for) 32 GB RAM, German keyboard, normal-sized arrow keys, dedicated keys PageUp, PageDown, Home, End. Besides, Razer must improve its service - see the NBC query.
    Now I hope for Razer Blade 17 with Ryzen 7000 and RTX 7000 Laptop together with aforementioned properties. However, considering how atubborn Razer sticks to its design language, unfortunately it is improbable that Razer offers at least 16:10 and a good keyboard layout. --robert jasiek

      What did Matthew say about the Blade? Was his louder?
      And Robert, you doubt us .... ? ;)
      I agree on the RAM; 32 GB should be an option, if not standard.
      The smaller keys on the left are indeed something to get used to, but it wouldn't be a dealbreaker for me. But I am not as picky when it comes to keyboards.

    • @NoName-zf6nr
      @NoName-zf6nr 2 роки тому

      @@NotebookcheckReviews Matthew Moniz in "2022 Razer Blade 14 vs ASUS G14 - The Easy Choice!" stated:
      40 dB Silent
      44 dB Performance / Balanced
      53 dB Turbo / Custom
      I sometimes doubt NBC when something is suspicious:) (Especially zero latencies;) )
      32 GB is my minimum but 64 GB would be better in a dGPU computer. Keys are important for me because I use the keyboard a lot.
      BTW, I still do not know: which is your name, please? (I cannot relate any article picture.) --robert jasiek

      Well, we are not perfect, but we do our best. And the amount of work that goes into testing for every single laptop is considerable.
      Im actually planning a video that shows you guys what is going on behind the scenes ;)
      I also prefer 64GB for my retouching work alone, but 32GB is the absolute minimum for me.

    What a cool laptop! Wish they would offer it with less shallow key travel.

    • @NotebookcheckReviews
      @NotebookcheckReviews  2 роки тому +2

      Yeah, I really liked it a lot. It is a good everyday laptop that can also properly game and work. While the keyboard is relatively shallow, I could get used to it quickly. But since we have many different laptops going in and out of the studio, we have a direct comparison .... but I would hardly say it is a dealbreaker.

    My Razer blade 14 Laptop arrived with a hole in the screen and dead pixels which Best Buy was willing to exchange but denied by Razer. After arguing for days an RMA approved for repair at Ingram micro in Arizona who shipped the laptop back to me with a completely dead screen. Outsourced and awful tech support and very poor quality control. I have owned computers for over 33 years and this is by far my worst experience. Don’t believe paid reviewers on UA-cam or elsewhere the hype is real on poor service and build quality. Avoid at all costs if possible. I would not recommend this product or company to anyone unless you enjoy feeling like you have been robbed of $2500 plus dollars or wish to be on tech support overseas for hours on end begging for help

    Love your website and your reviews! Currently looking into the 14“ performance laptop space and would have almost bought this one based on your review. However, then I remembered your support survey and checked it out - razed is even worse then Lenovo and here I already had several bad experiences with the so called premier support. I’d love if you also at least mention how you ranked the support quality because that is obviously a big part of the long term experience with the device if you encounter a problem during run time. Now looking into XMG.

    • @Memory98765

      Also no 32GB Option - what’s going on with razer?

    • @NotebookcheckReviews
      @NotebookcheckReviews  2 роки тому +1

      Thank you for pointing that out. It is easy for us reviewers to "forget" about things like service since it is something we hardly have to deal with. But since we have the data on our website, I will surely include it in our upcoming videos.
      I wasn't aware Razer had such a bad rep when it comes to service quality.
      And yes, the lack of a 32GB option is a very limiting factor, especially when you want to use this for more than just games.

      Are you speaking from experience with the Razer Blade 14 or are you judging from our noise samples?
      While it seems loud in those since it is isolated, in real-world use this thing is proper quiet. And I have a lot of different laptops in the studio right now ... trust me, it is A LOT quieter than almost all of them.

    sorry but the razer blade 14 is definitely not silent . Sure in theory and on paper its among the most silent gaming laptops. However in practice this laptops gets very loud. The problem is not the db , the problem is the noise of all razer blades. They have a whini , high pitched noise behind the whoosh of the air which is really annyoing and makes headache. I personally cant stand this crazy high pitched fan noise
