- Drawing upon the inspirations of cross-cultural arts, science, technology and philosophy, Randolf Arriola unites music, creativity and technology through live looping.
For the last 20 years, Randolf has been an experimenter and pioneer in layering his voice and guitar to create intricately arranged soundscapes and compositions. Considered one of the finest solo live looping artists in the word, his live performances are ever-changing organisms, powered by his own creative intentions and interactions with his audience. He has headlined at world renowned music events such as the Y2K10 International Live Looping Festival.

...after watching your Looping song (With or without you by U2) as i was trying to learn my BOSS VE-20 vocal processor, not realizing of your background or ethnicity... until i came to this one... was so amazed with your creativity and versatility with the Looper... keep your music going on YT... i passed by Singapore for a few days of Port visit way back in 79 when I was still with the US Navy...again glad to hear of your story.. keep your music going...Randolf... I've been listening to electronic music since the 80's. From retro electronic to looping, music has such a signature to it. You truly have a signature of your own. I love hearing the evolution of generated electronic music

I don't care where you came from,,,what colour of skin you have,,,what language you speak,,,in music we all speak the same language which makes us brothers and sisters. I've never meet you, but I see you as a brother musician and sometimes they can be closer than blood brothers, thus, you are part of a very large family. Love is the root of our tree and we are it's branches. This was a wonderful performance from a wonderful guy and how lucky are you NOT to labeled.

the best thing i loved in comments that you replied lot of person. its so cool. anyways - i used to love music from child hood. 1yr back i started to play guitar. not good at that. i search youtube a lot. i stuck in this video and got astonished, speechless.. awsome... you are gifted by god. in live u did the thing which i couldn't find anywhere. and your music has a untold message. it touched my heart.. i think this are few explainations which i can tell what i felt. but thousands of unkown / mesmerizing feelings flooded me.. speechless.. you are not a musician u are the -'Speaker with the Looper'
I am studying for exams for a music technology course, I have been feeling so hopeless about music as it often seems like more culture than art, but this made me really exited. I think I will have use of the term "sound art" in the entrance examinations.

Randolf! was very happy to watch this! I feel like I can completely relate because I also have a strange " high tech guitar rig" that I use to make unusual music. A tip of the hat to you! I'd be interested to see if you have any records or websites up where we can catch your latest developments!
Another fantastic community website, similar in a way to "Loopers Delight" is the "CigarboxNation" website. What a wonderfully friendly and helpful bunch of people. One member who I discovered was the son a lovely lady member I'd been chatting with for a while , very kindly made me my own 6 string cigar box guitar custom made for me personally and sent it to me for my 50th Birthday all the way from Michigan to the UK. I was absolutely blown away by their kindness.

You've obviously nailed your sound. Do you have a website giving ideas about effects and general setup? I just re-discovered this video in my favourites folder on youtube. Love this guy, he comes across as such a nice fella. I'd really like to make some music with him and he has reminded me of an idea I had for another custom guitar build to include some built in effects such as a Korg Kaoss pad mini and now that Andoid apps are getting better and better... ( Although I've yet to find another Android music app to match "Caustic") praps a mobile too. All food for thought, so thanks again Randolf for re-inspiring me :O)

Wow I was a member of Loopers Delight community I have vague recollection of contributing and reading helpful hints on stacking loops, with echo pedals. I still have my 90's digitech Echo + it's still not been replicated.
Did u make that u2 cover video a while while ago ? I always thought that vid was amazing , u are one of the cleanest loopers out there if not the cleanest . Wow l amazing i loop too been doing it for ten years.
