There are a couple things you didn't mention in this comparison. The front wheels/tires and front end are bigger on the MX series compared to the Grand L. I had the side mirrors, right door handle and an air ride seat added to my MX 6000 for minimal cost and still paid far less than I would have paid for a Grand L. Upgrading from a 2016 L3301 open station to the MX 6000 cab felt like trading in a Ford Pinto on a Cadillac. Your video is very good and I wish I had that to watch while I was deciding between the Grand L and MX but there are some deciding factors you could have added on behalf of the MX which are better than the Grand L. In the end by picking the MX cab over the Grand L cab I missed out on the upgraded HST tranny, digital speedometer, standard side view mirrors, arm rests and exterior 3 point lift cylinders vs. interior cylinders. I gained larger front tires and front end. After adding on the side view mirrors, air ride seat, wheel weights, beet juice ballast, and 3 point quick hitch I still saved thousands and feel like a king in that economy cab.
100% agree. Another point that may not come true, but there is the old school mentality that having the more anolog dash and simplier transmission will give the MX less issues down the road.
@@alanshaw6161 It does have AC and heat. I live in a hot, sunny location so I also had the sides and rear glass tinted along with an eyebrow for the front glass. I've been very happy with the MX so far.
Not that a grand L is bad in any dimension but the bonus from the two is frame and front axle strength and price. My MX 5200 is outstanding with everything it does. I have 5 acres so It’s beautiful with everything it does. The fluff is for the rich. I love my MX.
This was very helpful! I am currently looking to upgrade from a L3301 to a possible 4060 or 4760 cab. One of the problems is that neither dealer has one in stock that I can physically sit on.
That MX5400 in 2020 cost $25319 and the loader with 72 QA bucket cost 6045. That same tractor now is priced at $35773 and the loader with QA bucket is priced at $7798. You cant tell me thats not PRICE GOUGING. NO WAY THAT PRICE SHOULD INCREASE THAT MUCH. Tractor dealers are trying to take advantage of the time and there doing the same thing car dealerships are doing. Screwing the customer. People stop buying this overpriced Japanese crap.

Thanks for this info; useful details for add-ons.

Does the economy cab still have AC?

Fantastic walkthru on both MX and Grand L series. Thanks dude.

We understand, Grand L inventory is still hard to come by right now! We have both in stock if you are local and can come on by.
The Grand L doesn’t have “extra” cylinders. The MX cylinders are actually just internal vs external.
Love my 3560!
How much did the New Grill Cost? Thank you.
I wander why you do not recommend having backhoe on these tractors?
So in summary, for a few thousand dollars more, you get an armrest on the L series.
No guns today huh 🦾
