theyre around 34-37 now and are worth it. They pay for themselves the first year easy.
How do you tension the deck belts
HERE'S A TIP - and it is "you tube videos from equipment dealers 101!" When you show skid steer buckets all the way up in the air so you can access the engine bay - YOU MUST SHOW THE SAFETY BRACKETS ATTACHED TO THE LIFT CYLINDERS!!
Well, when they’re New, they aren’t broke yet. no bones about it I prefer my Kubota over Mahindra, kioti, New holland. I know a lot of business owners and have put many through real work scenarios
I’m
45k and it’s not as fine tuned as my rumba. 😬
Nice explanation of Kubota how to this model. The flatbed is big upgrade. Improves on Deere HPX design.
Are you using "Draft Control" or just "Position Control"?
Must be a super light box blade if the ripper shanks was keeping the box off the drive way, i sit mine on my 15yr packed drive and they rippers sank like a rock in water. My Mahindra 6’ is 680lbs
What if you want to smooth out a field so you can plant up a silvo pasture? what's the best implement for that?
The thing I love about my 4-in-1 bucket is that it can do so many things without having to change out implements. This is a big deal for us because we need more of a multipurpose tool and would be less likely to use a grapple if it meant having to remove the front bucket and change back and forth all the time. It's super common that I'll use it for three or four different functions throughout a 3 or 4 hours bit of work around the place; grabbing up a pile of branches bucked off downed trees (I've never had any problem grabbing up a big fat pile and holding on to them myself) to dump on a fire, then going over to scoop up some gravel which I can then spread and grade over the road, all with the same implement vs having to be limited by the specificity of a root grapple vs a rake grapple vs a bucket. I LOVE my 4-in-1!
5:13 "Once I do an eight poing turn here"... HAS TO BE AN ODD Number or you will end up going backwards...
You don't know what you are doing.
Thanks Zach, I’ll look for the knob on my 18 2032r and see if I can get the hitch to go down.
Tym t574 is $15k cheaper and would have no trouble lifting 2800lbs off the ground.
Looks like a great mower. I like that its a simple design. Are the transmissions serviceable? Is this a good machine for a lawn care business?
I’ve used a box blade to maintain my stone driveway for years and it was easy to use, once I figured out the best way (for me) to use it. I would set the angle so that the rear blade was on the ground and the front blade was about 5/8”-3/4” off the ground (depending on the gravel size). The front blade catches the high spots while still allowing some of the gravel to fall under the edge of the blade. The rear blade smooths out and compresses the gravel. It was so simple, gave me great results and it was a quick up and down the driveway and I was done.
My tractor has a LA854 loader. Could it pick up a bag weighing 1000kg off a truck and put it on the ground without breaking it? My tractor is a MX5200. It has a 600 kg counterweight on the back and water in the back tyres.
Would the l6060 be able to do 2100 to 2260 lbs from 51 inches, these are pallets of pellets and solar panels mostly 48 inch pallets.
Quality on this kubota zero turn is terrible. The throttle and the choke cable are so crude and heavy that you have to get off the machine and manually assist turning off the choke. And this is brand new. You would almost think this thing is rough enough to have been made in the USA. It's hard to believe this is Japanese quality.
This is a great review and comparison. Thank you!
With the box it looks like you had a nice gravel driveway and made it dirt!
can you show the connections with quick hitch
Would be great if you made a pass with the scraper with the reapers droped on the virgin area of the road! So we could see how the scraper reaps and levels the untreated surface. Also I would like to see both in action on soil. Great vid otherwise!!!
Yanmar invented the diesel engine in the late 1800’s and they were the first to do it. Look around, they’re everywhere. It will blows the doors off of a kubota. Stop with your nonsense video.
If your ground hasn't been worked in awhile a tiller or a farm duty plow is the worst thing you can use because they will jam even after bush hogging. It's still hard to beat a bush hog followed by a disc then either a conventional turn plow or disk plow. After this is done then you might use your tiller and farm plow.
Anybody know if the overall height changed from -2? Edit- Cab height
You’re going to destroy the seals in your cylinders. Been there done that several times. Most recently was exceeding the lift capacity on a Hyster forklift.
Great information….. thank you 👍
Good overview video. Just purchased the 520. Looking forward to using it.
I am about a year late, but it still puzzles me when people demonstrate equipment and do not know how to properly use it. I almost lost a friend over this comparison. He purchased a grading scraper because he didn't understand how to set the top link on the box blade for the depth of cut and distributing the material. He told me I could not level my driveway with a box scraper and I had been doing it for a couple of years. I sent him pictures and he accused me of back blading with my bucket! I guess it was better to have no instruction when I purchased my Land Pride 48" bucket. At first I had the same problem the salesman in the video has, but once I looked at the blades on the back of the bucket it was obvious how to set it for distribution instead of scraping. I would like to have a hydraulic ram on the top link, but I only level my driveway once a year so I can twist the adjustment collar many times for what it would cost me to add the hydraulic link.
What are the controlls under the seat.
Good machine. We have the 75-3. My only complaint is the cup holder behind your shoulder and there is no extra department for things like a cell phone. I do like the memo pad on the LCD display. If I get a call and need to take down info it is super nice to write the memo and store it. It has a lot of great features if you just take the time to learn it and understand it.
Get a suction cup one for the window I've spilled so much coffee in mine with that damn cupholder
I notice when you start the engine it blows black smoke, which goes away after 1 second. Do you know if the tractors over 26 hp with diesel particular filter remove this smoke upon startup? I ask because I was thinking of storing the tractor in my garage, but the garage is under the house. Want to keep pollution down by any means even if it means buying one of the larger engines with filter system.
Very good review. Looking at one currently in Culpeper VA. Thanks.
Do you have a Financing to buy your tractor backhoe
Yes, Kubota does offer 0% financing on new implements!
Thank you so much!
Glad to hear it helped!
Does it have DEF and a diesel particulate filter? If it has a DPF, how often does it regenerate and does it spark while doing so, causing it to be done static while in a safe place?
It does have a DPF, but does not have DEF as it is under 75HP. It should not spark and regen frequency depends on average RPM usage.
@@kubotaoflynchburg Many such loaders in the UK fitted with DPF’s and no specific spark arrestors fitted need to be regenerated manually at a standstill away from combustable materials and dust.
After reading your comment and @kubotaoflynchburg comment, I decided to share what the brochure reads. The brochure reads, "Increase your productivity with a high-performance DOC (Diesel Oxidation Catalyst) engine). I'm assuming it is a DOC-only system like the Bobcat machines. Nothing I've come across so far states anything about a DPF coinciding with the DOC.
You can add cruise control for 100$. Work lights front and rear for 150. Mirrors for less than 100. Under seat pto switch for 100. 12 volt charger for 7$. Limited is the way to go if your smart. All the wiring and plugs are run into the designated areas. I went with limited as I wanted LED lights front and rear of cab and Kubota does not offer that.
A tree service guy I know said if he only had one piece of equipment it would be his ditch witch mini skid. If you want a commercial piece of equipment in a compact size for back yard fences or tight spaces it’s the way to go. American made is a price to pay, and I’d say if you have the work the machine is worth it. Parts availability is also something to think about. I also love scag products. @KubotaOfLynchburg do you keep these in stock regularly?
Where is the oil filter accessed? Where is the hydraulic fill and sight glass located?
Looks like an excellent machine !
U48-5 is a great machine
You need to turn around up hill instead of going down hill at the end. I do it all the time on the Cub cadet. It will able it flawlessly.
Did he say beaver? Lol 😂
I bought a toro sw 4200 6 years ago. Steering wheel model. Cub cadet sued Toro for patten infringement. Toro had to stop making them. The toro has more features than the cub cadet at lower prices.
😊😊😊😊
Super helpful-like many of your videos. Thank you!
I bought my 2017 turf tiger brand new , kohler efi , it blew up at a little over 400 hours , just out of warranty they said , so i bought a 2021 tiger cat 2 , it broke the frame a little over 300 hours , just at the end of warranty , but i couldn't get the dealers to warranty it , so im welding that together myself , and i picked up some extra steel to build my own scag mower now , there pretty basic design
Yet another flat top track frame that spoil just builds up on, rather than angle the top to allow debris and spoil to fall off. Too many pipes exposed at the back of the blade. Still no sliding window in the door glass. I'm still running a 2018 4 series, but I still say the 3 was a far superior series.
