Dude excellent video as always. I have been looking at these guys for the chevelle for a few years and read the install documents several times. Your video answered a few muddy questions I had from there instructions. Hey American powertrain Jimmy needs to be your product support guy!!!!!
Best of luck with the TKX, but you won't need it. All three of us that have Foxbodies on our channel do as well. It feels and shifts like a T5 (better, actually), but with so much more strength. I haven't missed a 2d to 3rd gear shift yet. It's that easy.
I don’t doubt it John , I was a huge fan of the tko 500/600 series Had one in my 70c10 . I absolutely abused that transmission. Whent through 3 engines and several clutches . Never had an issue with the trans lol
@timelesssteelgarage That was a great truck. I remember you buying that thing in like late 2008 when we were at Taji. Then Steve bent up the front bumper! 😀 We talked for hours about what motor combination, etc you wanted to do. You settled on the aluminum-headed SBC with the manual; Great truck. The TKX is another animal altogether. Unlike the TKO, which is like a Top Loader with an overdrive, you can rev this one and shift way up high with no complaints from it. I have regularly shifted at 7K with no issues.

Haha thanks Donnie ! That Chevelle is gonna be bad ass. Also they are local to us in cookeville which is awesome ! You can save in shipping and just drive out there. I have been using them for my tremec kits exclusively forever
@@timelesssteelgarage I’m trying to get on your level brother!! One day I need to have timeless Steele over to my shop and get your bearings on my project!
